About this house rental
The Moorings Waterfront Estate, is a community estate located 1km from the town centre. It has a resort style feeling, boasting lovely manicured lawns, a tennis court, 4 community jetties, swimming pool and spa and a private boat ramp with easy access to the waterways.
While our home is not waterfront, it has easy access to the canals via the swimming pool or the boat ramp. So don't forget to bring your kayaks, stand up boards and fishing rods to enjoy the comforts of The Moorings.
The home boasts 3 rooms with 6 beds easily accomodating large families and allowing them to enjoy the facilities in a safe and pleasant environment. The bedding configuration is made up of 2 queen beds and 2 tri-bunks consisting of a double bed on the bottom of the bunk and a single on top.
Upstairs in the kids room, there is a TV with a playstation 2 to keep the kids entertained. The 2 other rooms overlook the tennis court and swimming pool.
The house is well equipped with 2 living areas. The main lounge area features a 60" TV , home theatre and 3 lounges to enjoy your evening viewing. It is also serviced with a split system reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you warm in the cooler climes and cool when it gets too hot. There are 2 sitting/dining areas as well as a covered outdoor dining area and BBQ.
The beautiful Tassie Oak kitchen is well equipped for you to cook up a storm or you may like to dine at the RSL club at the end of the road situated on the banks of the Inlet or any of the other eateries located in town.
Approximately 2 kms away is the beautiful Berarra Beach which is home to a family of dolphins who can be seen scouring the beach on most mornings.

- Linen and towels and tea towels are not supplied (Doonas, Blankets and pillows are provided, as shown in photos)
- Air Conditioned.
- Wifi
- Garage or slipway access ( Private boat ramp located within the Estate)
- No smoking inside the house

The property was very clean. The owners have great communication and readily available and helpful. Great quiet location for a relaxing vacation. The tennis court and pool are an added bonus for the kids to hang out. Enough room for a family of five. Would recommend for a place to stay.

The layout of the house was good, and the use of the pool and tennis courts was great. It has a relaxing feel about it and it is quiet. Some things in the house weren't very clean like the dishwasher, the coffee jar in the pantry expired in 2020, lounge was dusty and not even a full roll of toilet paper for 6 people. (the owner did apologize about the toilet paper). The bikes have no brakes. The owner gave a good tip on how to get the gas to work for the BBQ.

Great spot
We had a short but comfortable stay here. The pool and tennis courts were great for the kids and if we'd had more time we'd have loved to fish and kayak too.
The house was a good size for our group of two families and had everything we needed. The kids were happy in the bunk room together.

Enjoyable holiday, lovely beaches
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Moorings. There are so many lovely beaches in the area. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to the rsl club, coffe, spar etc. The house was spacious, and even though it’s an older house you can tell it has been looked after by the owners. I do think the cleaners could do a better job. There was a lot of hair in the carpet, on the beds and in the shower drain. The oven and bbq also needed a scrub. Overall the house was clean but could probably do with a good spring clean and get rid of the carpet, revamp the shower etc.
There were tennis courts and pool onsite along with some fishing rods and bikes in the garage. The hosts were very nice and easy to contact.
Overall we were happy and would return.

Great weekend house
Stayed for a weekend with the family (3 adults, 5 kiddos aged from 8 to 13). Great house, awesome location, plenty of stuff to keep kiddos busy without screens. Hope to come next time to catch some sunny days 😊

A Tranquil Summer Holiday!
Our family enjoyed a lovely mini-break at The Moorings, a beautiful and inviting family home with enough space for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. Everything was so convenient - the adjacent tennis court, the swimming pool that overlooked the inlet and the jetty that was a stones-throw from the property and the perfect place for our children to practice their fishing skills! The owners provided recreational gear such as board games, dvds, bikes and tennis rackets - thank you so much for creating such a lovely option for future holidays.

Great getaway with family
Our family enjoyed Janet and Kamal’s place over Christmas. The kids loved the facilities and the house has a separate casual lounge area where we can continue chatting after the kids were asleep. We were able to do small trips to several beaches (Jervis NP, Mollymook and Bawley point). The carpet and stairs needs a good clean but it was still reasonably clean. We highly recommend the stay.

Good house for the price
Communication with the owner and the check in process were very prompt and smooth. The house was a bit dusty and a few dead bugs in the utensil drawers. We wanted to swim in the pool but it was full of bird poo.. but good sized house for the price.

Family getaway
We had a wonderful stay at The Moorings. Peaceful and access to all amenities. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and although it was a bit too cool to swim, they still had fun sitting by the pool. The wine and chocolates were a bonus too! Would definitely come back.

Communication was top-notch with owners and no issues with booking or check in . Facilities were available for us to use such as The home’s garage, bikes and tennis rackets for the property complex’s court which were great additions to our holiday.

Clean, cozy and quiet location
The floorboards upstairs between the bedrooms were super creaky, so if you have light-sleeping young children this might not be the best choice. Otherwise, it's clean and cozy and the neighbourhood outside was so quiet and peaceful. It was a nice place to spend a few days.

Beautiful spacious home next to the water minutes from everything. Comfortably accommodated our family of 4. Pool tennis court spa and jetties all within the estate only 2 min walk. Owners were very friendly and accommodating, the cost was absolute value for money and we can’t wait to return
