About this house rental

There have been no expenses spared on this lovely holiday home with genuine archipelago feeling and access to a private boathouse and bridge. The holiday home has a glimpse of the ocean from the upper floor, but the boat house has a beautiful panoramic view. It is located in the in the living archipelago community of Skärhamn on the west side of Tjörn. This is a perfect holiday home for a family or companies with high demands on location and comfort. There are several pleasant outdoor patios where you can relax and enjoy your holiday and the wonderful setting. The holiday home has two floors; on the ground floor you will find a modern kitchen, a spacious living room with TV corner and a beautiful dining area, along with an exit to a lovely patio with protecting roof and outdoor furniture. There is also a bathroom equipped with shower, WC and a laundry. The cottage can be rent by max 4 persons! While on the upper floor there are three bright bedrooms, whereof one has an exit towards a balcony with outdoor furniture. There is an additional bathroom on the upper floor with tub and WC. Next to the holiday home you can find a private boathouse with bridge only 50m away, where you will probably sit and enjoy the majority of your holiday. Here you can enjoy the lovely panoramic view over the west sea or the rich boat life in first hand, start the day with a morning swim and later you can have a delicious “smorgasbord” with seafood. In the well decorated boathouse you can find a comfy sofa along with a dinner table and a stair ladder to the spacious loft with two beds without bed legs (only one is on picture). The loft is not suitable for smaller children. Please be ware of charging of electric cars are totally forbidden by using the electric power at the house. Only 400m from the child friendly bathing spot of Tubbevikens where there are cliffs, beach and a bridge. Here you can play in the sand and fish for crabs. Skärhamn has a rich entertainment- and culture life. The most famous is the Nordic watercolor museum which is a centre for contemporary art. You are also close to all other kinds of service along with several pleasant restaurants, shops and stores. Welcome to a wonderful holiday home with a amazing location!

Ein Ausflug nach Marstrand lohnt sich, da dieser Ort wirklich einen sehr 'mondänen' Charakter hat und mit seiner Bäderarchitektur nochmal ein anderes Bild abgibt. Dort gibt es auch sehr schöne Cafes und Restaurants. Skärhamn selbst ist für sich auch sehr schön und man sollte mal zum Aussichtspunkt neben dem Hochbehälter krakseln, ebenso wie auf den Berg hinter dem Aquarellmuseum. / Und absolut traumhaft fanden wir den Ort Klaedesholmen - aus unserer Sicht ein Kleinod.

Die liebevolle Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da man sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt hat. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, da das Haus offensichtlich sonst von den Eigentümern tatsächlich bewohnt wird. Daher hatte es nicht den typischen Ferienhauscharakter sondern einen sehr heimeligen - oder wie die Dänen sagen - es war hyggelig. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
