GOR-JESS is a large holiday home which accommodates up to 10 people. It is situated right in the heart of Stansbury, front opens up onto St Vincent Street (main shopping area) and the back looks out over Stansbury's beautiful bay. There is parking up to 3 cars (or boat,car & another car), Sorry there is no access to the shed.
There is a large kitchen/lounge area with a dishwasher,coffee machine,fridge,freezer,TV with USB port, & DVD player.
Bedroom Configuration;
Room 1; 1 x Queen,
Room 2: 1 x Queen,1 x Single (plus a trundle bed ),
Room 3; 1 x Queen,
Room 4: 2 x King Singles
Some pillows & quilts, 2 x tea towels, 1 x bathmat & 1 x hand towel will be supplied. You will need to bring your own top & bottom sheets, pillow cases & towels.
(Sheets etc can be supplied at an additional cost,speak to owner)
Laundry you will find a top loading washing machine .
Newly renovated bathroom.
2 toilets.
Lobby has a lovely spot to sit and have a cuppa, read the paper and enjoy the view.
There is a large BBQ on the veranda and is a fantastic spot to cook up a feast and sit back & enjoy the view while enjoying your meal & a wine.
There is also a fish cleaning station. Crab nets,rake & cooking pot.

Stansbury was a super location for a short family holiday. The house is large and comfortable, we especially enjoyed sitting under the back verandah in the evenings, watching the sun go down. We also caught some fish (mullet) from the beach directly across the road from the house!

Gore Jess is a lovely old home in Stansbury. I felt like I had gone back in time to what holidays were like when I was a kid. We sat around the kitchen table with cups of tea and chatted, had a glass of wine out the back looking out to sea and of course fished off the jetty which is so close you can walk there. We were able to fit all the family and had just a wonderful couple of days.

Location is perfect, the house is old, but rooms are very large. House is fully equipped with everything you need.
Had an amazing stay.
Only negative was that there was no wifi, otherwise a perfect stay.

The house needs a bit of renovation, as the "old house smell" is still present until you get used to it in a few hours, but the location is excellent. Very large rooms and all local shops are literally 2 minutes walk away.

Excellent Location
The fantastic location of this property in the small picturesque town of Stansbury made our first visit to Yorke Peninsula one to remember.
The house is right across the road from the beach, IGA for groceries, and the local drinking establishment that does great takeaway meals for the whole family.
There was plenty of room for the kids to run around and explore the foreshore.
Don’t let the older décor turn you off. The house has everything you need, has large rooms and is very comfortable. Big enough for a large family or would be great to stay with extended or other families. We definitely hope to return.

Boys Fishing Trip
Gor-jess is the perfect spot for a small group of mates to take the boats and fish. Located right next to the pub, cafe and IGA everything is easy to get to. It's also 300m to the ramp. Perfect! Great views sitting on the back deck having a few beers and BBQ too.

Amazing location
We really enjoyed the location and the accommodation. We got all we need to create a holiday worth remembering. Easy to deal with host, house is absolute perfection sea views, crabs, squid, accessible shops what else can you ask for a relaxing weekend getaway at the beach. Stansbury is a place to go.

Glenys’s house is a nicely maintained old house with lots of history. Kitchen is very well equipped. The view from the backyard is amazing.

Very clean, very comfortable, all amenities were of a high standard, thank you also for the amazing sunny weather in the middle of winter, it made cooking our squid on the bbq and eating it while surveying the view from the sunny verandah that much more special! Will definitely be back!

Boys fishing trip
The property couldn't be situated more perfectly in Stansbury. The back deck faces north protected from the wind providing the perfect spot for a BBQ. Great set up for 2-3 families. Loved it.

When choosing a holiday it’s all about the best destination. Then it’s about getting the best accomodation in that location. This weekend we did both. The house is perfectly located for you to be the envy of every single person passing bye. The house has everything you will need for your trip away. It’s very comfortable and more importantly it has the view overlooking the bay. Thank you for having us and we will be back for another stay.

Holiday stay in Stansbury SA
Gor-Jess is a wonderful old spacious home right in the heart of Stansbury. The place is very clean and homely with large bedrooms that easily accommodated our children and grandchildren. The bathroom is modern and spacious and the kitchen well equipped. We all loved our stay and hope to return again soon.

Great house for a family holiday
Gor-Jess is perfectly located with the jetty on one side and pub/shops at the front door. We had a lovely holiday with the kids with lots of room for all. Dishwasher is a bonus! Some basic condiments (salt, pepper, sugar, oil) for visitors would be good.

Perfect Location
It was a perfect location and lovely clean house for a quick 2 night stay for 2 families and our 4 young kids. There was enough room inside and outside to keep them occupied and only a short stroll down to the playground or across the street to the beach. We would not hesitate to book this property again :) Thank you
