Home away from home.

The place feels like home with all the utensils and appliances, felt like it was well-thought of. They were all very useful. What you see from the photos is what you'd be expecting when to you arrive. The caretaker, Ate Nelfa was nice. I was allowed for an early check-in and she was proactive in giving new towels after 2days and cleaned the place even when not asked. Though the toilet for some reason has clogged, it was immediately fixed when we got back. She also replaced the bed sheet and pillow cases. Loved the fridge and the gas stove! Were pretty useful. A/c works fine. Noticed the fire extinguisher outside and the area is gated though it doesn't really close. Wifi connection is pretty decent, the cable tv works fine though would at times be spotty for some channels. Value for money is +++.

The place is a walking distance to a just a few restaurants but is quite a distance from the good ones and from Cloud9 so I would recommend that anyone who stays here to rent a motorbike/scooter if you wanted to explore the island and find the good ones. The first night was okay and then the following days had mosquitoes getting in when you open the door. This is expected for an island so you can ask for mosquito spray or get a Mosquito coil and put it outside the door to at least prevent them from invading the house. The electric kettle could need a replacement as it already has rust. Water heater has a weak pressure though the faucet works fine. They have dishwashing liquid ready - could probably be better if each unit has a refillable/reusable bottles for it and then add up shampoo inside the toilet in a reusable container as well. I wish the pillows could be more firm and the blankets thicker, the bed was big enough though could have a better density since the thickness was okay. It doesn't fit the bed frame.
