About this house rental
Spacious 3-story home, fully airconditioned, is only 2 blocks from the beach and a 10-minute walk to the town square. Charming Mexican décor, lovely private pool, and garden. The first floor is a spacious open great room with a large well-equipped kitchen, dining area for 8, living room with a flat-screen TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi, and lots of amenities. The third floor is a master suite with big sliding doors out to balconies on both sides and lets in a lovely cross breeze. It also has a huge walk-in shower in the private bath. The second floor has 3 bedrooms, One with a private bath, and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom.
The secluded garden and pool area is the perfect relaxing, gathering place. A large table with 5 chairs and 3 loungers for your comfort. The roof has a seating area where you can take in a beautiful view of the ocean or a stunning sunset over the lush mangrove looking west. We love this place! It was our second time visiting the same house due to the location, great staff, house itself (fits our family perfectly) and the private pool! We love it, never had any issues with anything and small things are solved by the staff super quickly. The town is great, easy access to everything, beach, great food and fun shopping. We were excited about staying at Abbey del Sol from the moment we booked it, and when we arrived, it was even more charming than the online listing. Spotlessly clean, the AC worked well (we needed it!), with a beautiful pool, large bedrooms, relaxing gathering areas and plenty of bathrooms. We traveled to Puerto Morales for a family member's wedding. Our group was three generations: my husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandsons ages 11 & 13. The boys (young & older) spent hours in the pool, and when we weren't exploring the cute shops and local restaurants (all within a few minutes walk), they were at the beach, only 2 blocks away. The rooftop patio had a beautiful view of the neigborhood and the water, and lots of balconies on each level to enjoy the out of doors. The management was very responsive and booked airport transportation for us and to several other venues. Be assured, if you book this property, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful facility, very clean, close to everything that we wanted to do or see. The town of Puerto Morelos is exceptional. It was very quiet, friendly and easy to get around. We were very please with the management company's assistance with arranging transportation when we went site seeing. Only recommendation that I would make is a beach umbrella would have great to have along with the other beach amenities provided.

Over the years we have rented many vacation homes, but the Abbey del Sol group and Casa Mulder far exceeded our expectations. As three couples that largely prepare meals at home, this was the best stocked kitchen ever.Even the utility had shelves with ovenware and small appliances. For those that do not cook, there so many other special touches.....master bdm coffee station, beach totes with your towels, all the paper products and personal care items were included and refreshed after the first week. And the house itself was wonderfully laid out for both family time and personal reading space. We also spent a lot of time around the pool. The only negative we had was the living room sofa was broken down and almost unusable. Based on how the home is cared for, I’m sure that will soon be replaced.

Beautiful home and outdoor patio/pool with plenty of space for extended family. Grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the third floor where they could escape the noise and chaos of our young children. Perfect location - less than 5 minute stroll to the beach, 1/2 mile to the town square - close enough to walk anywhere you want to be, but far enough from the noise and bustle of the town. Puerto Morelos is a fabulous place to visit if you're traveling with young children! Abby del Sol rental company is truly the best - so helpful and prompt with questions, coordinating taxis, recommendations for restaurants and activities. You may want to pack an eye mask as some of the rooms have thin curtains and the lights around the house at night are bright. Beds are quite comfortable, kitchen is well stocked for cooking and baking. Couldn't imagine any place better.

Overall excellent. The Pool could have been cleaner upon our arrival. The Bikes need lubrication. The Staff was outstanding, professional and quickly responded to any of our needs and questions. The beds were comfortable. Lots of room in this large, private house and well laid out.

Casa Mulder is an absolutely wonderful house, decorated with so much taste everywhere, very clean and with many spaces where to hang out (by the pool, TV room, living room, etc.) The master bedroom takes up a whole floor, fantastic. Abbey del Sol has excellent customer service, very responsive to any special needs. The town's restaurants offer superior quality food, often 4-5 stars at a very reasonable price. The only drawback was the large amount of seaweed (sargassum) by the shore, much more in 2023 than in previous years.

Casa Mulder had everything we needed and the staff at Abbey del Sol were all very friendly and helpful. At one point, the toaster handle fell off and they sent a new one right away to replace it. But the highlight of Casa Mulder was having our own private pool. We ended up spending so much time in the pool and it was the perfect spot to cool down and avoid the strong afternoon sun. We loved our time at Casa Mulder and wished we could have stayed even longer!

The house was perfectly located on a quiet street on the beach side of Puerto Morelos. Close to shopping, beach clubs, restaurants and groceries. Beautiful house! AC worked great, very hot water, good water pressure, clean and stocked with everything a house shoud have and more. The pool was another highlight of the house!! Management was helpful and communication was great! I plan to come back next year!!

This house exceeded our expectations. Kitchen fully stocked with all appliances and cookware you will need. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of linens including beach towels. Loved the bikes to get around town and the beach chairs and beach umbrella were well used while we enjoyed the beach, just a short 5 minutes away. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool and playing cards on the patio. Don't forget to enjoy watching stars from the rooftop deck - very pleasant. The town of Puerto Morelos was an unexpected treasure. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. We ate at several restaurants. You must try the fist tacos or fajitas at El Pirata and say hi to Carla. Breakfast and dinner at La Choza was excellent. The crew at Wet Set Diving were very helpful and accommodating. We booked all of our excursions through Eduordo at the tour company in the northeast corner of the plaza. The Chedraui grocery store is well stocked for cooking at home. Hopefully this is our first of several vacations to this lovely town!

Comfortable home with impeccable service!
We absolutely loved our stay! Puerto Morelos is a wonderful little town with the nicest people. The house was stocked with everything we needed including bikes to ride around town. The rooftop and pool areas were amazing outdoor hang zones. The beds and linens were comfortable. Our host, Jin went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable - including scheduling our Covid tests and picking up a birthday cake for my friend! We will defintely be back!

For my fourth trip to Puerto Morelos, I booked for the fourth time with Abbey Del Sol, and as usual their accommodations and customer service were amazing. Casa Mulder was a dream--tonnes of room for a family of 8, spacious kitchen, perfect distance from town center and the beach, the pool and patio saw daily use, beds and linens were great, everything was clean, the art was uplifting, we felt secure and peaceful, and the staff were so kind and quick to respond. After two weeks, it felt like home and we were all so sad to leave!

This Abbey del Sol house is absolutely amazing. 3 floors of luxurious bedrooms and living space, lovely rooftop deck for dinners or evening drinks, and a pool with both sun & shade to keep everyone happy during the heat of the day. Can't wait to stay again!

We rented Casa Mulder for a family vacation/reunion. Our crew consisted of Grandma and Grandpa, our daughter and her husband and their two children ages 2 and 5 and one of our other sons. It was great to have the 4 bedrooms, as the grandgirls shared the twin bed room, and the adults all had private rooms of their own. The shared bathroom between the twin bedroom and parent room was very handy. Us old folks stayed up on the third level in the huge master suite. I found the beds very comfortable, but two of the adults found them a bit too soft. There are a lot of stairs in this house, so if mobility was an issue, I would not recommend it. The house is beautifully appointed with Mexican/Mayan art and ceramics. The large dining table comfortably sat our group of 7. Utensils and dishes were ample and there is a well stocked pantry area of serving and baking dishes. The pool is beautiful. It is not heated and in the shade most of the day, so the water was very cold, but on a hot afternoon, it was refreshing. The location of the home is absolutely perfect. It is far enough away from the noise of downtown, but downtown can be walked to within 10 minutes. The beach is just 2 short blocks away and easily accessible. The staff at Abbey Del Sol were prompt to answer questions and were very easy to deal with. They were very professional. Would I stay there again - YOU BET!

From the moment we entered the house until we checked out 6 days later we appreciated every aspect of our stay. Sunsets on the roof, mid-day pool time, and making meals in the well-stocked kitchen. It was a home away from home. They even prepared a birthday acknowledgement on arrival.

We were delighted with the accommodations for our family of 9 (+2 infants). Comfortable rooms, furniture, supplies, and decor. The pool was outstanding. The staff was helpful. We loved the beach being so close and the town resources. Unfortunately, the lack of AC on the main floor was a challenge. The pullout couch was not really an option due to the hot temperature on the main floor; therefore, we had someone sleeping on the floor in the single bedroom. We used the pool to cool off and the master bedroom became the gathering space most of the time. We would consider coming again at some point.

It was a hard decision to leave the safety of our homes and travel abroad. We felt so safe, however! The house was immaculate and well equipped. Everyone stayed at a distance while providing everything we needed, including detailed and accurate advice. The town was doing a great job of providing services and keeping safety a priority. I've been to PM 6 times now and Abbey Del Sol rentals will forever be my first choice!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mulder! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were SUPER comfortable - so important in my opinion ☺ The management company was great to work with - answered all emails and questions in a very timely manner. I called and asked for extra towels - they were at our door within 10 min. I couldn't get the safe open - they were there with the key to open it within minutes! Amazing customer service from everyone at Abbey Del Sol. WITHOUT A DOUBT, We would absolutely stay here again!!
