Habitación en Bacalar 🇲🇽✨💫🙌🏻👍🏻

La atención de Cinthia fue de 10, la habitación es confortable, la cama es cómoda, el wifi funciona perfectamente, puedes aparcar el coche justo en la puerta de entrada a la habitación. El aire acondicionado es de pago, pero con el ventilador de techo no hizo falta. No hay nevera en la habitación pero se pueden dejar cosas en una nevera compartida. En resumen súper recomendable.

Trop minimaliste au détriment du confort

L’établissement permet de se garer facilement, et le gérant a accepter de modifier notre réservation sans frais

L’hôtel est a proximité d’une 2x2 voies très bruyante. La chambre est très peu équipée : savon minuscule, sortie de bain aussi grande qu’un torchon, Clim payante, … Serviettes et draps propres mais tachés Les draps sont en matière synthétique ce qui n’est pas agréable dans une zone humide. La terrasse est existante mais pas vraiment utilisable compte tenu du bruit extérieur. Je vous conseille de mettre quelques euros supplémentaires dans votre réservation pour avoir plus de confort et services

I think it needs a small fridge and a microwave as there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

Superb

Nice, modern, functional interior. Big bathroom, great shower with a 'nature window' which made one feel like you were having a shower in the jungle.

A small fridge would have been nice.

nice stay in Bacalar ☺️

we really liked it! nice room, beautiful bath room, easy accessible and quiet. you can hear the street a bit, but it’s not bad at all. at least for us it was perfect. we arrived by car.

Good for a short stay in Bacalar

lots of hooks and a wire to hang your wet swimsuits, free drinking water, coffee maker, free parking in front of the house, shower with a view, good water pressurw, hot and cold water in the shower, comfortable bed (a bit hard), good wifi, owner was nice and offerd us suggestions for tours and food. he has a cat and a dog on the premises (they try to enter your room if you leave the doors open).

no comforter/blankets on the bed (we were a bit cold at night), noise from cars at night, construction going on next to the room starting in early morning hours, you have to pay for the ac, no fridge in the room. the location - this didnt bother us as we had a car, but if you rely on public transport this might not be the best option for you (quite far from Bacalar).

Recommended place if you have a car and don't want to stay in te city

Very clean place. The proprietor is very friendly and helps you out almost immediately if you have a question. Comfortable beds and great for non-American travellers is that you can charge your phone via USB.

The place is a little far out, so you really need a car (which we luckily had). The room is somewhat basic and pretty moist, so your towels (and clothes) don't dry quickly.

Amazing place in one of the last unexploited parts of Yucatan

It is an absolutely amazing place near Bacalar. Perfect if you come with your own car, otherwise you have to take a taxi or walk (it's about 2-3km to the center of Bacalar). Rooms are very clean and beautiful, Cynthia (the renter) is very friendly. I extended my staying there because Bacalar is one of the best places in Yucatan (very calm, lot of nice bars and restaurants with a good vibe, not many tourists) and this accommodation was perfect.

The room has no aircondition, but it has smart ventilation, so it isn't hot inside. However, keep in mind that drying your clothes will be challenging due to high humidity, which wasn't a big problem for me.

extremely helpful people, you instantly feel welcome from the heart, the rooms and outdoor facilities are great, especially the bathroom - they even thought of a clotheline - great

a bit far off, but you can rent bikes, or take a cheap taxi

Unique, comfortable stay

Clean, comfortable and set in beautiful gardens. A short drive to the lake but away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

It would be tricky to stay in this location without your own car.

Pleasant

It esa really quiet and you could hear the birds during the day and see the stars at night. You can see nature from the bathroom.

The room only had/came with one toilet paper. We ran out in the middle of the night and had to wait until the morning to get more.

really great value!

loved everything about this place…such great value, big comfy bed and super shower and water pressure. also the wifi was really strong! the owner is really kind an accommodating. we ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we really liked the space.

not really a negative but I would say you need a car as it’s outside the centre but you could take a taxi or walk so not really an issue 🤷‍♂️

it was a beautiful property, very clean, the shower was incredible with great water pressure and the host was incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful.

the place Is a bit outside of bacalar but if you know that going into it/ have a scooter or car like we did it’s very easy to get around

Amazing

We just loved it. The best room we had so far in 2 months travelling. Luis the owner is really helpfull and kind. The room is nice, quite, clean, big. In mexico is really hard to find such huge and comfy bed. The shower just WOW, hot water and perfect water pressure! Has even a small terrace to chill. Can just recommend it.

where easy to find; even though it’s close to the street it is very quite. very clean and designer-like architecture. internet is fairly good - you can easily do video calls👌🏻 the owner was very nice and helpful and their cat was lovely

Cynthia is brilliant! A goldmine of information

They use polyester or some other synthetic materials for the sheets. Even for budget accommodation cotton bedding is a must for such a hot humid climate. It was a struggle to sleep. The location next to the highway was also a let down.

The best stay he had in one month

The owner was really nice and the room really cosy and comfy. We particularly appreciated the company of Poncho the cute cat.

We can hear the traffic on the road during the night, but it’s not that loud. A bit far away from the city center of Bacalar but we had a car so it wasn’t a problem.

The owner is an amazing human being!!! Words can’t describe how kind and helpful he is! He made about 20 calls trying to help me solve my problem… Also his place is very nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

Everything on high level

Located out of the city. Very comfortable and big room. Channing of hight level. All guests are welcomed by the gentle, nice and communicative owner. He is helping a lot and answering all questions about stay in Bacalar. I would fully recommend.

Incredible value for the price!!!

The owner, Luis was amazing! I am so grateful to him for being so available and helpful. He was very responsive to my texts, friendly, called a taxi for me and provided more than enough water which was such a relief. The style of the room was so nice, the fans are great, bed was comfortable and the place was clean. WiFi was so fast and it was fantastic to have a hot shower (keep in mind it doesn’t last super long). Beautiful little property.

The only negative things can’t be changed. There was a lot of road noise, being right off the main road and a rooster next door and dogs barking in the morning. There was a sewage smell late at night after showering but I just closed the door and it eventually went away after a few hours. You can hear next door pretty well so know that you can likely be heard. The place could probably use some rugs. Oh, the towels left a lot of fuzz residue.

Big recommendation - very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay and would come here again if we'd come to Bacalar. We found the place easily, with a car it is absolutely no problem. It's really close to Bacalar - Very beautiful and comfortable, big rooms - Very nice host - Very quietly situated
