This was a great river property for our family of 6. Felt secluded and private, but still great driving distance to everything. I even got to go to Mass. Don't forget this is the river so bring your big spray for the mosquitos. Home had everything you need and more. They just put a small pool in. It was perfect for relaxing if you didn't want to get in the river. Jason was very helpful.

Long post warning: We paid a lot and don’t feel like it was worth it, especially when the listing is rather inaccurate. The pictures of the listing make the house seem clean and spotless, but that is simply not true. They also state several identifying factors in the listing that do not exist at the property. First, the listing states that the house has a smoke detector, and the picture shows one. If you go to the house, the smoke detector is not there, just the mount. There are also free wires hanging out of the wall in the dining room and an outlet in the living room with no plate cover over it. Essentially, there are several safety hazards. The house itself was not very clean. On the interior, the master bathroom shower had used bars of soap and a used razor left in there, and the other bathroom had ants (guests left with several ant bites). The Checkout rules ask to throw away perishables, but there was food left in the pantry and fridge on arrival. There was also a small pile of quarter rounds stacked behind one of the sofas against the wall. Seemed like we arrived while work was being done. The outside was dirty as well. On the listing it looks great, but when we arrived there was a bunch of stuff just tossed into areas and it made it really uninviting to stay outside. The lack of maintenance in terms of cobwebs was apparent. The upper deck is lined with thick layers of cobwebs, bringing in tons of bugs. The furniture shown in the photos is not the furniture at the house. It, too, is rather dirty. There are other issues as well. I understand that this review sounds picky, but for $357/night this place needs some TLC (especially when a recently renovated house down the street goes for $250/night as told by the owner of it). I asked Evolve to reach out, and they still haven’t done it. Staying at this house didn’t seem like a vacation, but more like we were house sitting while the owner was gone. We feel like some sort of a refund is warranted with how drastic of a difference the listing is from the actual property.
