This 1 bedroom, luxury apartment is in a prime location ! Walking distance to U of M hospital , central campus Kerry-town, downtown shopping and restaurants. It is also minutes away from Argo Park which offers beautiful hiking and running trails which takes you around the Huron river, as well as a wonderful canoe livery.
This unit is in a lovely Ann Arbor home on the old west side of Ann Arbor near the historical district, and has the best of everything! -All Stainless steel appliances: refrigerator, stove, over the range microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. hardwood floors throughout and granite counters. The bathroom is beautifully tiled with porcelain tile and a Kohler rain shower , towel warmer. There is a large laundry room with washer and dryer in unit, and a private entrance. The rent includes water, gas ,electric central air conditioning, high speed internet .

The place is clean and well located and Kathy is very responsive. The only thing preventing me to give a 5 stars is that the unit is a basement unit. We are tall (6 feet and taller) and not being able to stand up straight in the bedroom was unpleasant. Plus the family staying on the upstairs unit were waking us up each time they would walk around as the noise travels very well. Too bad because the place was nice otherwise.

Cozy, clean basement apartment in a terrific location, close/walkable to Kerrytown, Main Street, State Street, the U of M campus and all Ann Arbor has to offer. Checkin was easy and communication with Kathy was helpful and prompt. We appreciated the onsite parking at the back of the house for one car. The layout of the space was nice as there was a well equipped kitchen and living room with electric fireplace and large TV, separate from the bedroom and bath. The shower was fabulous, the towel heater divine, though the sink was a little odd/dated. We don't happen to like the smell of room deodorizers and unplugged the one in the bathroom as soon as we figured out what it was, but some people like these. Next time I would be sure to ask Kathy not to spay the sheets or anything with any scent, and I'm sure she'd understand, though I realize we are more sensitive than most. While the place was surprisingly sunny given it's a basement apt, my preference next time would be to stay on an upper floor if she rents those out as well. Either way, we found our stay very cozy and convenient.

We come in for three or four football games a year. This apartment is perfect for two people. It is very clean . We walked to the Michigan football stadium.

Great location, close walking distance (and safe) to downtown. Convenience store nearby. Very clean. We drove in to town and were glad we had a parking space. We liked having a kitchen and washer and dryer as well. Quick repsonses by owner. If I were to come to another game at Michigam I would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay. Apartment is beautiful and sparkling clean. We walked to the Arboretum and to a restaurant downtown. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at Kathy’s place for 3 nights. Everything was spotless clean and all the amenities were A+ rated. Kathy also regularly checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. The stay was one of the best stays we were had. Highly recommended!

Nice place with great shower. Close to town but MU is a little bit of a walk. Park and food establishments are convenient. Was perfect for our needs on this trip.

Kathy’s property was terrific. The basement apartment felt more lively than we could have ever imagined and the wonderful pictures online don’t do it justice. Only a 10 minute walk from downtown, and in a great location that’s nice and quiet. Kathy was wonderful to communicate with and I couldn’t be more thankful for her to open up this establishment for us. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, I highly recommend this unit. GO BLUE!

We loved our stay in this cozy luxury apartment. Location is close to everything in diwntown Ann Arbor, but out of the way in a quiet residential neighborhood. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. One of my favorite rental stays yet.

This rental was squeaky clean and done top notch. My only complaint was that it was in a basement and was freezing cold. They had an electric fireplace which helped but it was cold. Other than that it was 5 stars.

Upon Arrival all was good. Driveway is up an incline and parking was a little tight for trucks and larger vehicles. Interior was very nice looking. Lots of updates. Looked Very nice and clean. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The only thing I could say was uncomfortable was the thermostat was controlled by owner so if you run hot or cold you have no control. Otherwise great lil space.

The host was responsive and thoughtful with many welcoming little touches. We enjoyed the snacks. Cleanliness and style were both apparent. It was beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Plus the location was convenient to all that we cared to see. Thank you for a lovely visit. We would definitely return!

The owner/manager was extremely helpful. They communicated with me from the day I booked my stay until my departure. They made sure that I had a pleasant day. The area was kept clean. The check-in and check-out instructions were clearly outlined. The location was quiet; yet it was walking distance from downtown (less than a mile). I would stay here again if I were to return to Ann Arbor. I also recommend it to travelers who wish to come to town.

This place was very nice, clean and I had an enjoyable time. It was cold in January, but that was expected. Parking is the only issue-there is none on the block and the next block over had limited hours for parking. This made having guests complicated.

This property is well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with spices for cooking. Cozy fireplace. Plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Shower also has a rain feature. Hostess was accessible and pleasant to work with.

Came to visit our kid at school. Centrally located in town. Easy walk to Kerry town. All of campus is really accessible. The place is clean and comfortable for 2-3 people. Host was easy to contact and friendly.

As an owner of a rental property ourselves, my husband and I were very impressed with the property. The apt was perfect for us as we were coming and going while moving our Fresh. D into the University. The kitchen is wonderful given the size of the property, but we didn't use it much due to our schedule. We appreciated all of the extras such as snacks, bath supplies, robes. We will definately consider staying her again.

The basement suite is wonderfully updated with lavish amenities (particularly in the bathroom). Check in process is easy and quick. There are somewhat steep and narrow stairs as you enter, so use caution. Host had a lovely basket of snacks and beverages as a welcome which was a thoughtful touch. On site parking for one car. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

This place is so welcoming and convenient. The apartment is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the shower is amazing. And what a great location, just blocks from downtown and the University. Ultimately it was all the little amenities that really made the difference. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us during our short trip to Ann Arbor!

Such a cute apartment. Great, fully stocked kitchen. Fireplace, Netflix, Hulu. Kathy was responsive and left us some cute goodies. And the shower is to die for! I understand what people say about the noise but it wasn’t that bad at all.

I was looking to get away from my normal scenery at home and this was the perfect spot! The parking situation is a little bit tight so I don’t suggest driving a bigger vehicle. The kitchen was fully stocked, which was a big plus. The bathroom was amazing but the hot water ran out quickly, probably because we visited in the dead of winter at its coldest! Overall, this was a very cozy place for two people to stay and if I was ever in the area again, I would consider this property!

Beautifully finished basement apartment, conveniently located near the train station, Gandy Dancer, and Huron River.Host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Very clean, cozy, and the perfect spot in downtown Ann Arbor!!
