About this villa rental
Villino La Quiete is a beautiful holiday home located between Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. It is 60 metres squared and can accommodate up to 4 guests in two double bedrooms. The property is immersed in vegetation – surrounded by olive and citrus trees.
Villino La Quiete is well located as it is halfway between Sorrento and Positano – making it the perfect place to make the most of the local sights. It is ideal for day trips to Sorrento, which is 8km away, Positano, 11km away, and all along the Amalfi Coast. Its position means that you can also visit Pompeii and Naples. There is the wonderful beach of Alimuri which is just 5km from the property in Meta’ di Sorrento. Along this beach road, there are also many delicious ‘trattorias’ where you can sample the local Italian cuisine.
The property has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard and taste. All the internal space is located on the ground floor level. There is an open plan living/dining room with a kitchenette which has a dishwasher and all the essentials you need. Here you will also find a TV, a sofa and a dining table with four chairs. There is also a utility room with a fridge/freezer and washing machine. There are two stunning double bedrooms which are both ensuites with a shower. Both bedrooms have TVs and access into the garden. There is also a third bathroom with a shower.
From the open plan living/dining room, there is direct access to the wonderful garden where you can dine ‘al fresco’ whilst enjoying the fantastic sea view of the Gulf of Naples and the islands of Ischia and Procida in the distance. The decked area has a dining table and chairs as well as sofas and armchairs to enjoy an ‘aperitivo’ before dinner or a post-dinner drink whilst enjoying views of Sorrento and the sea. There is even a BBQ. All the outside space is private and there is also shade during those long, hot summer days.
The private swimming pool (6 metres long by 3 metres wide and 1.20 metres deep) is available from April to October, offers a wonderful opportunity to cool down and sunbathe on the sun loungers provided.
A car is recommended and if you have one, you can park it in one of the two allocated parking spaces. One of the spaces, for larger vehicles, is approximately 100 metres from the public road and approximately 150 metres from the villa. There is a 'short cut' on foot to the villa. The second parking space, for smaller vehicles, is along a narrower, private drive and is approximately 20 metres from the villa. Close to here, there is the swimming pool and 17 shallow steps to access Villino La Quiete. There is a ramp, which can be used for luggage, instead of the steps. There will be someone on hand to help you carry your luggage along the footpath.

We really enjoyed our time at Villa Nanzia. The view (and sunset) are absolutely gorgeous and the owners are really friendly and helpful. The house is basic, however, most of the time we spent outside on the terrace and lounge area. There are 2 bedrooms of which one a small one. Bathrooms are outdated but clean. Very good location to explore the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. Highly recommend Uncle Sem restaurant which was a tip of the owners. Very good food for a reasonable price.

Traumhafte Lage - pure Erholung

Villa in Piano Di sorrento
We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The house was fabulous for 2 couples and the outside space really nice. The pool was a nice respite after day trips. The drive up to the villa is tight but doable with a small car. The rooms were spacious. We loved being up in the hills.

So fehlen z.B.

Great location overlooking the sea and Sorrento. Private pool, great WiFi (for my daughters 😉) and all the amenities one need. Perfect place to start your Amalfi holiday!

Stunning views
The villa was set in a beautiful location with stunning views. The host was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, although there was a slight language barrier. On a downside, for a self catering property, the equipment was a bit minimal ( but it depends on what your requirements are) We would still highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Views
We had a very enjoyable stay at Villino La Quiete, the property was clean, comfortable and well maintained. There are a number of steps to the Villa but these are manageable, and are certainly worth it for the stunning views at the top. Nunzia was very organised and helpful and was always on hand if we needed anything and she provided some lovely fresh figs from her garden on our arrival! The Villa is very conveniently located for visiting Sorrento and all the sights on the Amalfi coast. There is also an excellent restaurant 'Zia Sam' a 5 minute walk from the Villa which is well worth a visit, super food, lovely service and beautiful views.

Amalfi Trip
The property is in a perfect location if you want to have some peace and quiet. The location is ideal for visiting Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. You will need a vehicle to get around from the location. The views from the outside deck are stunning and the property is very well maintained.

Hyggeligt sted

Beautiful villa on the Sorrento & Amalfi Coast
We were at this lovely and charming villa with my family over February half-term. The tranquility, the cleanliness and the gardens contribute to make it a place to relax. It enjoys a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples. We have already booked for April to enjoy the pool and the warmer weather. We cannot wait to return.

Amazing property with fantastic views
We went as a family of 4 with two teenagers. Fantastic location just above Sorrento with amazing views over Naples Bay. The property is behind a private gate making it very secure, Nunzia was a very welcoming host with fresh fruit and veg and homemade wine in the fridge. The property is excellent, with all you could need and a wonderful outside eating area. The pool is just below the property, very private and great for chilling out. Great for visiting the sites, if you park at the Piano station, which is just a few minutes drive away, you can get anywhere. We will definitely return.

comfortable Villa, spectacular views!
We stayed in the Villa for two weeks with our two young children (4 & 6yrs) and had an absolutely fabulous holiday. The property managers met us on arrival to introduce us to the villa, they were friendly and were contactable throughout the holiday if required but otherwise left us to our own devices - the children loved the dog Chuck that occasionally came to say hello. The villa was clean and well maintained. We used the pool dailly and was again kept very clean although the wooden decking is beginning to looking a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. Previous reviews mention the short walk upto the villa (either via steps or wide path) it kept us trim but was really not a problem. It is definitely worth it for the spectacular views from the villa across the bay of Naples. This is really undersold and for me, a holiday highlight was eating our dinner on the veranda enjoying the setting sun with a glass of Italian wine! The Villa is set in a quiet location but it is only a short walk to the bus stop giving access to Sorrento and Amalfi (buy your bus tickets in advance at the cornershop). It was a 5 minute drive to Piano train station giving access to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum. In summary the villa gave us convenient access to the popular tourist attraction whilst being able to return to a tranquil surrounding for some quality family time.

Hidden gem with stunning views !
Loved everything about this property - stunning location and quality
accommodation. Equipped with everything you possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Great WIFI coverage ! Agent Alfonso was great to deal with regarding payment and prices. Quick to respond and efficient to sort any concerns. Beautiful mountain haven ! Decor was quirky and welcoming - plenty of space inside and out to relax and admire the views from every angle ! Property was spotless and immaculately kept.
The pool was very welcoming in the heat, lovely area to chill on hot days. Owners were very friendly and helpful - left a little welcome gift of fruit wine and limoncello! Also possible to purchase home made produce - can recommend the pasta sauce and fresh eggs. There are quite a few steps up to property - not a problem for us personally just be aware if problems with mobility. Fantastic base to explore Sorrento and Amalfi coast - many thanks to owners Nunzia and Andrea - beautiful property. Everything we look for in a place to stay ! Would definitely recommend and would love to return here! A week wasn't long enough - sorry to leave !

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Villa
We decided not to drive on the holiday due to the extremely busy roads and lack of parking in most locations. This was not a problem as the local bus service was regular and at very reasonable rate. This ran between Amalfi and Sorrento, stopping at Positano and Priano amongst other places. There is a local bus stop within 200M of the Villa at Colli San Pietre. There is also a local shop for basics at colli San Pietre. The lady in the shop will make up any variety of sandwich with fresh produce as you wait. We found the Villa very clean and the décor very nice. The gardens are large and well looked after. This villa would not suit anyone with difficulty climbing steps. It is on a hillside and you will need a certain level of fitness to access. However, once you do reach the Villa, it is worth it for the panoramic views around. The owners were extremely helpful and very friendly. There is an option of fresh local produce for a small fee. These include homemade Lemoncello, Jam, Pasta Sauce, eggs, oranges & olive oil. Well worth the purchase.

Lovely location, but.....
Overall, the villa was as advertised. It was clean, well maintained and in a lovely private garden setting with a beautiful view. However, visitors should be advised that the climb up to the house from the parking lot is very steep with several inclines and 74 stone steps.
We have rented houses all over the world and can honestly say that though lovely, we wouldn't rent here again. We expected some basic amenities such as cooking oil, salt & pepper, sugar, tea and coffee to get us started, maybe a small pack of long-life milk. They did provide us with a small bottle of their vineyard's limoncello and showed us a cupboard stocked with beer, wine, soda, olive oil - all for sale. They also offered to sell us eggs. With a 4PM check-in (on a Saturday when many shops are shut), this means guests need to drive back into town and stock up - and then carry everything back up the hill. A kilo of sugar, a litre of milk, a tin of coffee, bath soap, laundry soap, etc. All to be carried up to the house. Other niceties might include tea towels, ice cube trays, dish sponges, bath soap, an egg flipper, tongs. What I could call basic kitchen items. And plastic glasses for use at the pool.
Also, information about the local area would have been greatly appreciated - a map of the area, shopping hours, location of grocery stores, restaurant suggestions - general information that could be easily have been obtained at a tourist board. They did recommend one restaurant down the road that was very good - Zio Sam's and they did leave us a brochure from a tour company.
With so many lovely properties to choose from, I feel we couldn't recommend this house.
