This is the second time we have stayed at this house. It was again very clean and easily accessible. Property manager was a great communicator and the entire rental process was a breeze. Highly recommend this property.

We will look for this place again. Only downside is no on site laundry but there is a laundromat close by.

This cottage is very well equipped, beautifully maintained, and in a perfect location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood where you can truly relax and enjoy your time away. It has one bathroom, but has the best outdoor shower so really having only one bathroom for 6 people was never an issue. It is so close to the beach, Ocean Mist, Vanilla Bean and the surf shop. We had a blast for our 3rd year in this cottage for our vacation. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the Miss Daisy summer cottage. Walking distance to all you need. Beach, Ocean Mist, Farm, and Ice Cream. Could not have asked for a better host. Cathy was a dream to work with. Already looking forward to our next beach vacay in Matunuck :-).

Cute and comfortable cottage. Very clean! Loved the quiet setting and the nice deck for having morning coffee with the bunnies scampering about and the birds chirping. Great central location for exploring the nooks and crannies of the southern coast of RI.

The house is pristine clean. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and updated. The host Kathy was very responsive. Bedrooms are small but there are 3 bedrooms so plenty of space for a family of 5. Nice location - very quiet neighborhood and walking distance to Matunuck beach, the market, ice cream. Perfect for a beach getaway.

Took the family to this location at the end of the summer right before school and everything was great. House was perfect for the 5 of us and our dog. Close walk to ice cream which was a daily treat for the family. An easy walk to the beach to look for shells.

Quiet, clean place that is just a 10 minute walk from the beach. We loved the outdoor shower and quiet neighborhood. Kathy was great to communicate with.

Cottage is spotless from start to finish. There's everything you could need, just replace it if you use it all. State beach parking pass included, you can sleep up to 8 people in this 3 bdrm, 1 ba, extended cape. Wrap around porch with propane tank grill and outdoor shower with hot water.. They even have a baby gate! Beautiful neighborhood with immaculate landscape, and delicious local eats. Highly recommended 10/10.

Kathy was such a great host. One of the easiest to communicate with I’ve ever booked with. She was kind, informative, flexible and available. The place itself was spotless and very nice. Felt homey and quiet, great qualities for a quick relaxing get away. Location couldn’t have been better. Super short drive or very easy walk to the beach or the town’s amenities. Would recommend this spot and host to anyone.

This is our second visit to Miss Daisy Cottage. It is light and bright. From the front door you have a direct view to the rear of the cottage's sliding glass door to the deck, grill, and yard. Bedrooms had closets with hangers and plenty of drawer space in dressers. All appliances were in working order. Kitchen was well supplied to prepare meals with plenty of utensils, dinnerware and glassware. Beds were comfortable. Kathy is thoughtful of guests' needs.
Oh and so many places to walk! Our schnauzer enjoyed that the most. The cottage is walking distance to the beach, a small market, and an ice cream shop. We did enjoy the Matunuck Oyster Bar for dinner but missed Ocean Mist for breakfast (friend's recommendation). Hope to return next year.

Staying in this quaint little beach cottage was most enjoyable. The property was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking to beach or beach bars. It was also fairly close to some of my favorite eating place such as Iggy's and George 's. The people in the neighborhood were friendly. Kathy my host was super easy to communicate with. I love this little cottage so much I looking forward to booking it next year.

We were in town for an annual reunion with friends in Charlestown. This home was comfortable, very clean, well maintained, in a lovely convenient neighborhood. We were also able to bring our well behaved dog, which was a bonus.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Kathy's place. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, plus it's a short walk to a beautiful beach and a short drive to Matunuck Oyster Bar, which you should absolutely go to. Kathy even let us check-in early when we needed to escape a downpour. It was a great stay.

My two friends and I had a wonderful time in Matunuck. The house is exactly as stated. Three bedrooms, deck, outside shower and super clean. Kathy was amazing, always staying in touch.
The Kingstown beach is down the road and there is also a small market. The location is perfect close to everything: Newport-30 mins; Port Judith to catch the ferry to Block Island-11 mins and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic location close to swimming, biking, kayaking (launch just down the street), boating, hiking, and more. Or just sit out back and watch the ospreys raise their young ones.
Peaceful, quiet surroundings. Plenty of restaurants, farm stands, markets, quirky shops, picturesque harbors, etc. nearby. Most always a sea breeze so we sat outside a lot in the morning and evening and just took it all in.
Host Kathy communicates impeccably. House was pristine when we arrived. A+.
Comfortable furniture, wonderful deck out back, small TV with basic cable, fully stocked kitchen, awesome central A/C and ceiling fans. Neighbors keep to themselves but also super friendly. Laid back area, away from the touristy spots, really a step back in time.

Fun at matunuck
We found everything to suit our needs. The owner was regularly available to answer any questions we had. She was very responsive to any of our needs. The house was roomy enough and very clean. There was a lot of outdoor space and a nice deck to sit outside and enjoy. The beach was very close by and places to eat at were not a far distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Vacation
We had such an enjoyable stay and didn’t want to leave! The home is in such close proximity to the beaches (especially Scarborough state park)and not far from Narragansett where we enjoyed lunch at Iggy’s, the Coast Guard restaurant and the restaurant at George’s Beach.
The bunnies and beautiful species of birds were very entertaining in the backyard of the home.

Just what our family needed.
This cozy cottage was perfect for us. My two daughters joined me and my husband for our stay. We wanted a quiet setting that was clean and comfortable. We found it. The home was equipped with everything we could need. The attention to detail toward guest comfort is excellent. The local market was handy too. The neighborhood was great for walking our dog, very peaceful. The beach is within walking distance and an enjoyable walk after dinner. Cathy is a wonderful host. We were able to have early check in and late checkout. I'd stay here again.
