Digital locks, new apartment

I stayed in this apartment a couple of times before the pandemic (see previous reviews) and was always very happy and positive.

While the apartment is still the same, the price is now the double from pre-pandemic level (€75/n in 2020, €146/n in 2022) and the quality of the apartment itself (airco did not function) and level of services (no cover sheet for the duvet provided, cutlery and glassed for 2 people while in 2020 it was for 4 people) has gone down. While sharing this feedback (pricing not in relationship to quality) with the owners, they asked me if I had been living on this planet in last months and recommended me not to stay at their apartment anymore. Knowing there are plenty of nice apartments in Bratislava for less then €90/n I'm ok with their suggestion. It's a pity, this place had (and has) potential considering correct pricing and corresponding quality of services.

Location is convenient to the open-air market and lots of public transportation options. A Lidl is nearby, as well as coffee shops and restaurants. Convenient and reasonable parking. The kitchen has plenty of utensils for cooking and eating.

Everything was good to great--hard to think of anything to complain about.

This modern funky designed apartment is located in a newly refurbished building a bit outside of the center in calm district of Ruzinov just next to cool open air market. The pickup of keys was easy bit of geocaching experience :)

The cleanness of the apartment was questionable with quite filthy fridge and super dusty floor. As the apartment is facing garage building just outside of the balcony there is no view and the apartment itself is quite dark - reflected in the dead plants inside. Communication with owners was clear but very automated - sending reminders about check in despite us already sending message that we checked in or alarmist message that cleaner is outside the door and we need to move out even though we have been long gone. (The check out is at 9:30 - not very standard either)
