Very nice place. Will stay again :)

My wife and I took our 2 kids up to Highlands to see the leaves and explore the town. This house is the PERFECT location. It’s about a 3 minute drive to the middle of downtown and also sits right on mirror lake. You can walk out the back door and fish! The house is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We can’t wait to book the property again!

This was a very comfortable house for our group of six adults. All bedrooms are private and each with its own bath. Location is excellent and the view was lovely especially with the changing leaves being reflected in the lake. I would’ve given 5 stars but the house could use a little refresh. New carpet and paint would go a long way

Had a great stay on Mirror Lake. The paddle boat was a hit w the kids. And close to town w sweet shops and restaurants.

The home is nice with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The kitchen was nice with a coffee maker, refrigerator with an ice maker, and plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. It was nice being on Mirror Lake with chairs to sit out on the deck.

Wonderful house in a peaceful and pretty pond. Just in the edge of town so it is conveniently located. We had 3 couples stay there over a long weekend for a wedding and really enjoyed the space while we were there. I Would rent again.

Awesome house and great location! We had a great time staying at house on Mirror Lake! The owner was very easy to work with, the house was awesome, the lake is beautiful, and the area has lots to do! I highly recommend this rental!!

The house is a little tired and could use some basic maintenance (screen door wouldn’t close, towel rod hanging by a thread). But the price reflects that and the location and view are great.

This property was beautiful. Place was clean upon arrival. Easy digital lock to access front door. Everything works. Beds were comfortable with clean bedding. Bathrooms stocked with towels and TP. Only recommendation is to increase the size of the hot water heater as it doesn’t fully fill the bathtub jacuzzi. Otherwise I can strongly recommend staying at this property!!!

My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. It was very quiet and spacious. We each had our own bedroom and sitting area. The location was near to everything we needed or wanted. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

After bouncing around Highlands at different rentals I have finally found an awesome home to rent from here on out! This home is super close to town and sits on Mirror Lake. There is a fabulous deck on the house that sits over the lake. We grilled and had cocktails there every day! This home is super comfortable and inviting. Not stuffy or pretentious. This house has great air conditioning and the three bedrooms had their own private bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of rushing water over the dam lulled everyone to sleep at night. Plenty of parking in the drive way. Met some super nice people staying in the private guesthouse on the other side of the privacy hedge. Fantastic visit. Have already rebooked for next year! Thanks for sharing your amazing home with us!

House is spacious. The paddleboat does work! Kids paddled around the lake. Owner was responsive to any questions. We'd absolutely stay there again.

This was a great relaxing place to hang out with family while attending a wedding. We really enjoyed eating and drinking our coffee out on the patio while listening to the water below.

Loved the house. Plenty of room. Spent a lot of time on the deck reading and enjoying the cool weather. A very relaxing experience.

The location is great however I was surprised that none of the reviews mentioned there’s a small cottage next door that has a new guest every night or two. It’s on the same property/shared driveway, which is fine but I feel that you should be made aware of that upfront bc the residences are so close together. The peddleboat was unusable when we were there- covered in mold and rain water w a broken seat which was disappointing. My guess is the previous renters a time or two back left it sitting to collect water and it got ruined. The home is older and has not been redecorated since the 80s, which is fine, you can tell that from the pictures. But there’s a musty smell inside the home and the vents for ac for the top level bedroom doesn’t work well. It was so hot in that room that no one could sleep there. The towels are soft, there’s plenty of towels. The beds are comfortable and the appliances all worked. It’s a beautiful location and w a little TLC this home could be amazing. I did not contact the owner during our stay as we were very busy, so to be fair, I haven’t given them the chance to fix these things before writing the review. Again, knowing these things upfront would have changed my expectations but the area is beautiful and we had a great time. You can’t beat the convenience of the location.

We stayed for a wedding event and really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable with every amenity needed. Beautiful view of the water. I would highly recommend this home.

Spacious and beautiful home. Very clean with all amenities needed. Used the washer and dryer without issue.

Plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous view from every room! Great central location to explore nearby waterfalls, mountain towns and Highlands. Took a drive to Lake Glenville and enjoyed the Gem and Mineral Museum in Franklin. Whole family took turns on the paddle boat on Mirror Lake!

The property is right on the road which means you get some road noise. The view is better than adequate but considering the other options in Highlands, this is just an OK view. There is a nice water view. The furniture is dated. With all that, though, it was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room and was stocked with anything that we needed. My kids especially loved going out on the boat. Downtown Highlands was only about a mile away. We hope to stay here again when we return to the area.

WE have rented this house several times in the past and will rent it again. Perfect location.

Close to Highlands downtown, 5 minutes or less. Loved the porch view. Spectacular. If you needed the air in the third bedroom the air conditioner was noisy.

This is a very comfortable & spacious home. The sound of the waterfall from the deck is so peaceful and relaxing. We loved using the paddle boat on the lake. It’s a quick drive to town for anything you need.

2 couples rented while attending a destination wedding. It was perfect and all systems worked well. Comfortable and each of the 3 bedrooms had a good degree or privacy. Loved being right on the small lake. Only suggestion would be to get a toaster in there. Thanks to a great host.

Our stay was relaxing and picturesque. The house met our needs and was close to everything. There were not enough washcloths and towels so we had to wash almost daily.

Home was just as described online and perfect for our needs. Location was very good, home was very comfortable, and the water deck overlooking the water was so nice.

Very nice 3 bedroom/bath home in beautiful location, easy access to downtown and mountain attractions.
