Good quality cooked to order breakfast , all possible requirements to microwave cook in room , good surroundings to enjoy the Court Yard, with free parking Good location to reach many places It had clean comfortable beds and clean walk in shower /wash room toilet facilities . Some nice touches with crisps, biscuits and soft drinks in the room .

We would unfortunately not return. Upon check in we were told that the latest we could book breakfast was 8am, and that we had to check out by 9am - not exactly the relaxing start to our holiday that we were looking for. If we could have slept in a little later in the morning and had a more leisurely breakfast, score would have been much higher. Unfortunately we had to set alarms and just felt rushed out.

Clean, comfortable room in a quiet location, ideally placed for trips to Gunthorpe and the river Trent or visiting the Minster at Southwell. A fabulous home cooked breakfast sets you up for your days adventures.

Disgusting customer service. Arrived for a wedding nearby, told the reservation was cancelled. Booking.com confirmed it hadn’t been. Wedding ruined!!

The comfortable bed and quality linen, opening windows and friendly, efficient welcome. Our grandchildren loved the cooked breakfast!

For us, there was noticeable traffic noise from early morning; it was not loud or intrusive, though. Good location and the railway station and nearby villages reachable on foot/bicycle.

Everything was well up to standard with comfortable bed, a big bathroom and an excellent breakfast. It was placed ideallt for our stay and the owner went over the required level in making us welcome and comfortable. Do give it a try for anything in that area.

The host was excellent, very kind, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant 👍

The room was a little noisy and we were disturbed in the middle of the night by the guests in the adjoining room.

Lovely B&B. Very friendly and accommodating staff. When I said I would be leaving before breakfast, I was left a bowl of fruit, cereal bar and orange juice, which was unexpectedly but a lovely and much appreciated thought. Large room and large en suite. Comfy bed. Tea and biscuits in the room. Can thoroughly recommend.

Beautifully presented room off a secluded courtyard, we enjoyed staying here as a base for day tripping. The room had everything we wanted and needed with oh-so-comfortable beds and a great walk in shower. Perry was on hand with some helpful local recommendations and a really super breakfast. In a small village, it was a short drive to a number of local pubs and restaurants and onsite parking made it easy to come and go. We really liked the local market town of Southwell - the minster and The workhouse were great to visit and fascinating for those with an interest in history.

Quiet, clean, relaxed, lovely host

No chair in the room but this is being “picky”

Owner greeted me by name and was extremely accommodating with our request for early book in. Very nice position off of the main road. Breakfast was very nice indeed.

The shower area of the bathroom had some areas of mould/staining around the lower part of the shower. The hairdryer lead was not long enough to allow one to stand in front of a mirror.

Perry was wonderful. Once she knew all our names she always addressed each of us by name. Lovely place to stop, fabulous breakfast, would haved loved to stop longer.

The host was lovely and it is in a good location. I imagine in the summer, it is a great place to stay. There are nice touches like a can of coke and crisps in the room.

On arrival, the room was absolutely freezing and the bed linen and towels felt damp. The shower tray flooded over in the morning during a fairly short shower. It took me a long time to get to sleep as I was so cold until I woke at 5am and the room was like a furnace due to the electric heater.
