We loved staying for 5 nights in this very comfortable apartment. It exceeded our expectations on furnishings, cleanliness, comfort, facilities, security, location and views. We had a wonderful break and would be very happy to stay again.

Our family of four, including two adult children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped, generously proportioned and very comfortable. We had convenient access to all the activities we had scheduled throughout the Algarve, and this was the perfect place to rest and recover at the end of each day. In addition, Ian is a wonderful host that provides information on a timely basis and is always prompt to respond. We had a great time here!

Great place. The property manager did a good job showing us around. Very new, clean, and spacious. No problem with parking and it is a short walk or drive to the downtown area and the beach. We plan to go back again.

This wonderful apartment was just as advertised. The pics on the VRBO site were just what we were looking for. Beautiful big balcony overlooking the green hills and little white villages with a view of the sea . There was a big private roof top as well. The apartment was so well equipped with everything you might need ,very welcoming and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again next year.

Great stay

Property is perfect for a week + stay in the Algarve. Great location in a smaller town that has a great calmness and relaxed feeling while being close to the busier spots along the coast and inland for day trips. Great views of the sea from the balcony and terrace. Perfect location to access to hiking trails along the coast. We were cycling in the area and this is a great spot to access some very nice and quiet back roads. The condo was was spotless, well equipped, modern and very comfortable. Parking was readily available. Owners were very easy to work with.

We had a wonderful week at this property. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and it was even cleaned midweek! It was very well equipped and had everything we needed with the bonus of the beautiful roof terrace. It was so lovely to back in Burgau!

Outstanding rental property being very well equipped and maintained. The huge balcony gets the morning sun, perfect for breakfast and you can enjoy a sundowner on the large roof terrace which gets the sun all day. Inside, the property is spacious and very well equipped. It was spotless on our arrival and the agent that met us was helpful and informative. The apartment is in a quiet, well maintained, modern development on the edge of the small pretty town with plenty of good restaurants and a lovely beach. I will be returning.

Nothing to point out I loved everything impeccable nothing was missing, excellent location from the moment of the first contact with the owner, always attentive, available to help always quick to answer any question I asked. The arrival as scheduled agency was present with all the availability to help. During the stay, nothing to comment on, quiet place as planned and the apartment very well equipped, including beach toys for the youngest. An experience to be repeated as soon as possible.

The property itself was fine, although we've stayed in two others in the same complex that were better furnished. The property owner failed to tell his property manager of our arrival, nor had he sent us the manager's out of hours telephone number as they would expect. We were left on the doorstep whilst HomeAway contacted the owner. Prior to this, he had a) informed us there was a late check-in fee for arriving at 9 pm - b) sent a personal booking form, which constituted a separate contract c) asked for my bank details via this form, when I had already booked and paid with HomeAway. Otherwise, Burgau was as pleasant as it always is, if a little strange due to Covid 19 protocols.

The house and the village are perfect for a family vacation

This was our second stay in Burgau, and this well appointed apartment is ideally located to the little village of Burgau. The property manager was there to welcome us when we arrived. Walking distance to all the restaurants, the beach as well as the spectacular hiking trail along the cliff tops. Make sure you go in the basement of the little grocery/wine shop , next to the Pizza restaurant. Local strawberries every day were the best we have ever had! We totally enjoyed our vacation. My husband and our son and daughter-in-law just finished our perfect stay at this lovely apartment in the small town of Burgas. We stayed for a week but would have stayed longer if we knew how peaceful and unspoilt the area was. The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, linens and supplies of superior quality and I cannot think of a thing that was missing (dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets provided.) We ate in a couple of times and the kitchen was better equipped than my own! My communication with Ian prior to our stay was prompt and helpful. Highly recommended. We had a lovely five days in this great apartment. Beautiful views of the sea and over green land approximately ten minutes walk to a soft sandy beach. Wonderful cliff walks and some great bars and restaurants in a very peaceful area.....bliss

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burgau. We had wonderful warm weather with sunny skies. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved the local restaurants which were easy to walk to at night. San Antonio golf course was challenging but fun

We really enjoyed our stay at Ian and Gillian's apartment in Burgau. It had everything we required as well as fantastic views over Burgau.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped. The sun terrace off all rooms is perfect in the morning, the roof terrace sublime all day. Really only fit for four people, though: we had five (one in a z bed), but that was in the living room and made it feel a little cramped. Plus, downstairs complained about the noise of the bed on the tiles. Overall, a lovely apartment in a very sweet village and well worth booking.

Really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, especially after travelling 10 nights in Italy and a 2 week driving tour of Portugal (first time in Portugal). It was a great reward to be able to "have a home base" for 6 nites after living out of suitcases! The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished and we loved the terrace and roof deck for relaxing with a glass of wine (or 2) and tapas after a day of exploring. The apt had absolutely everything we needed to be comfortable and it was nice to be able to do laundry too. The bed was very comfortable. We were a close walk into town and restaurants. All were good that we went to, it was also nice to use the built in grill to eat at home. The bathrooms were very modern with good waterpressure and lots of hotwater. The "welcome pack" of butter, buns, meats, cheese and milk were much appreciated for a reasonable cost. Wifi was strong. Overall a perfect place to stay and we would definately stay again if/when we come back to the Algarve. Ian was also great to deal with and answered any questions promptly. Have been going to Burgau for many years and stayed in various different apartments, this has been one of the best. Communication and booking process with Ian was simple and straightforward. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and good quality furnishings. Beautiful views over the village from the balcony and all rooms, a lovely sunny place to sit for breakfast. The private roof terrace is an added bonus for afternoon sun and evening drinks. Loved the built in barbeque on the balcony for grilling fresh fish for our supper. Hope to book again soon.
