We were extremely disappointed with our stay here (Villa Bont). Immediately upon arrival, it was obvious that we had been mis-sold and misled about the overall quality and condition of the villa. We paid a premium price for what we thought would be a luxury accommodation, but in reality the villa fell far short of that and was in some cases dangerous. The villa has not been maintained and does not look like the photos online. Here are a few of the issues we encountered: 1. The villa advertises itself as child friendly, however the balcony doors on the top floor have no locks and the balcony has very limited protection, which a small child could easily fall through. 2. The villa description states that there is a daily cleaning service included in the price. No cleaner came all week. 3. There are multiple cracks in the paintwork, blown plasterwork and black mould littered throughout the property. The general decor and condition is poor and is clear evidence of a lack of maintenance/upkeep. 4. Rusty nails protruded from some wooden planks on walkways and many panels around the pool were cracked and splintered. Both are a danger for walking on and could easily have caused injury. 5. The outdoor furniture was falling apart with sharp pieces of wood protruding and ends of chair arms missing. 6. The cushions on the outdoor furniture and on the day beds around the pool were mottled, dirty and discoloured. 7. We were unable to fill the bath from the taps (they did not work) and had to fill it using the shower head. 9. Many of the jets in the hot tub were not working, and several others were missing. The hot tub is also not heated. 10. The “barbecue” is not in keeping with a property advertised as luxury, being a simple grill box on flimsy legs - the legs had been stabilised using cable ties to keep it upright. This is clearly dangerous. 11. The pool water was near opaque and so full of chemicals that it discoloured our swimming costumes and hair. The holiday left us feeling very upset, predominantly because we were lied to. We raised these issues with the property manager on our first evening at the property. While the manager has been in contact , we have been waiting over 6 weeks for a response from the owner. We would not recommend anyone stay here. Unfortunately VRBO does not allow us to share photographs of the current state of the villa.

Great Location, all what you need for a relaxing weekend. The host is really helpful and reliable.
