We stayed at Pelican Isle with Brooks & Shorey last year. Loved it so much that we came back for more! When we wanted to plan a vacation before our baby arrives, we immediately thought of Fort Walton Beach and this condo. It’s clean with an ocean view and easy access to the beach, dinner options, mini golf and Publix. We would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next beach vacation.

The property was in good shape on arrival with the beach right out the back balcony. We enjoyed our week at the property.

Condo is pretty good ...clean and nicely managed. Parking spot helps in summer and during busy times. View from balcony is amazing... exactly beach front location....short walk to beach...not much crowded also.... all the family enjoyed the beach every day ...

View was beautiful. Condo had everything we needed for the week. Drink coffee in the morning on the balcony and watch the dolphins. Bring binoculars. Amazing!!

The individual unit was clean, however, there were areas of chipped paint, a small hole in the master bathroom wall, places where the owners had labeled light switches and closets in bad hand writing with a sharpie, and mismatched decor in the master bedroom/bath. Also the remotes for the bunk beds were confusing and didn’t work properly. Why is the Disney channel in Spanish on the top bunk?! Overall, it had the feeling of a cheaper motel instead of somewhere that was $400 a night, which is what we paid for it. The condominium building left something to be desired as well. The window sills of the units were covered in dirt/grime and the outdoor covered walkway to the unit needed a new paint job/cleaning. The restroom by the pool was not clean. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The beach access was nice, and the two provided chairs and one umbrella were nice and in good condition. Overall, we loved the location being right on the beach, but we will not stay here again due to the lack of upkeep in the unit (which could easily be fixed with about $100 of paint, a label maker to label light switches, and matching home decor), and the lack of upkeep in the condominium itself, which I suspect is a larger problem and not as easily fixed.

Amazing views from the balcony and the beach service was awesome. The condo was VERY clean!! We have stayed in other condos but this by far was the cleanest yet. Perfect location - away from noise but close enough to everything. Highly recommend!!!

The staff a Brooks an Shorey were friendly and professional and they made sure we had everything we needed. The weather was terrible for our week at the beach (rainy and cool). But the property was wonderful, and we will definitely be back.
