Have yet to se a place like it. John kept the old beach house foot print and updated it perfectly. Result is the cottage feel along with the modern. Also best outdoor shower on the island.
Host is great, small maintenance issue when we were there (these things happen). He was all over it.

The location was great as it was close to the path to the beach. The views were wonderful for sunrises, sunsets. Would have been even better if the tree tops were trimmed a bit to give better views of the ocean. Overall, all the amnesties were good and the decor was tasteful. A comfortable, cozy cottage that’s been updated very nicely.

The location was great as it was close to the path to the beach. The views were wonderful for sunrises, sunsets. We loved everything about our stay at this property. Location, the deck, layout of the house, decor, proximity to the beach. Everything. This was the first time we’ve stayed in a rental property where it actually came to feel like home.

Especially at this quiet time of year on LBI (in addition to the pandemic!), being able to ensconce ourselves in this impeccably clean and tastefully furnished space was essential to our enjoyment of this trip. John was gracious and responsive to all our questions. We would love to return.

Quiet location steps away from a beach with a convenient and semi-decent beach break if that’s important to you. Lucked out and hit it in 5-6’ swell. The spot was fired up and barreling. Great times!

Perfect location in Barnegat Light. The house is clean, bright and comfortable and right on the beach. And the Murphy’s are wonderful hosts.

We had such an incredible weekend here. What a perfect beach house--great design, so clean, incredible location, ocean-front deck and more. We are already trying to find a weekend this summer that we can come back and stay!
