Dear Lisa, I didn't want another day to go by without letting you know how much my sister-friends and I enjoyed our stay at the Pharos-Summertime villa in Montego Bay August 20-27. I know I can speak for the 10 of us when I say the accommodations were superb, the staff was exceptional and even in the face of a 3-day lockdown, we felt relaxed and refreshed. Clarence's cooking spoiled us! He provided freshness and flavor that we asked for, with a surprise or two thrown in. He never disappointed. Oliver's kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism won our hearts. He was always there to assist us with whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. Samantha also brought her bright smile and positive attitude with her every day, always available to assist. "The Marvelous Miss Marvette" as we liked to call her, took excellent care of our rooms and kept things extremely clean and neat. Our laundress, Neisha, did an amazing job with our clothing, too! Last but not least, our driver Alicia was THE BEST! When the country was on lockdown and we needed water, Alicia went the extra mile and made it happen for us! From the time we got off the plane, throughout the entire stay, Alicia made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to get massages on the property because of her connections! We had the most wonderful experience with these highly trained professionals! The groundskeepers, Pete and Mikel, shared the bounty of the property with us, too! We fell in love with the fresh lemongrass, which we drank as tea, and the sweetsop that they gave us. It was very nice of the owner, Vern, to call us during the lockdown to check on us. Myself and my sister-friend Leah let him know that things were going well and we were making the best of not being able to leave the property. He offered us a return trip at a discounted price to make up for the inconvenience of the lockdown! That was an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture on his part, and we're already working on our return trip next year! I want to thank you, Lisa, for all your help in making this vacation possible. Review of Pharos-Summertime-Montego Bay 6BR Villa trip from August 9th thru August 16, 2021 by: Author Le'bert Gordon. My family and I reserved the Villa for a 7 night and 8 days stay in order to renew the vows of our magnificent 17-year marriage. Of all the Villas we sought to book, we were drawn to this Villa because of the Old-Modern Style Exquisitely displayed furnishing of the rooms and the majestic scenery we saw overlooking the heart of Montego Bay. But upon arrival, we were blown away by the pure unadulterated homely welcome received by the staff headed by House Manager Ms. Marvette. As we took in a panoramic view of the Villa, it's advertised photos does not do the place the justice it deserves. It is truly a mind-blowing Villa to feast your eyes upon. As we arrived, we saw the immaculately kept grounds by Staff Groundskeeper Mikel. We were first met by our Staff Security Pete whose welcome made us at ease. Our Staff met us at the entrance and their introduction was warn and caring. We unloaded and took in the beautiful décor of well-kept and modest looking furnishings and the view I saw on-line at the point of the Villa was truly breathtaking. The night view at this point is also indescribable and the morning view is just as breathtaking. I would be remised not to speak about how our booking Agent Ms. Lisa Clarke went above and beyond to assist us with getting local businesses to cater our event at a reasonable price and the staff Butler Mr. Oliver who helped me tremendously with getting all my preparations done before my big event. Now, to the entire Staff, on behalf of my wife, family, and friends, we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to you all for providing us with the kind of attentive care which made our stay feel like a family visit. You guys will always be regarded as our extended family, and we so look forward to returning early next year. To our Driver King of Jamaica Villas by Linda Smith, you are the very best at your craft and we truly enjoy our time spent on our excursion trips and you allowing us to know the remarkable young man you are. We would also like to give a special thank you to Villa Owner Mr. Vern Granberg for graciously allowing my wife and I to hold our Vow Renewal Celebration Event at his Villa without any additional cost, to House Head Manager Ms. Marvette for granting her staff the permission to assist with our Event, to Assistant Housekeeper/Laundress Ms. Patricia who attended to our every clothing need; Assistant Chef and Butler Ms. Samantha who, besides performing her duties with exceptional skill and graceful professionalism also found the time to provide my Niece Jurnee with the warn loving care of a mother; and last but not least, our truly outstanding Chef Clarence who made my mouth water each day as I licked my fingers of his deliciously well-prepared meals. I can go on, but since I will be writing a book entitled: “At the Pharos-Summertime Villa,” I'll just digress here and extend to the Owner Mr. Granberg, Concierge Lisa Clarke, and all the Pharos-Summertime Villa Staff, from My wife Arlene, Virginia (Ginger), Jurnee, Teddy, Tammy, Percina, Gregory, Peter, Lovena, Nemphard, and myself, our deepest loving appreciation for a magnificent vacation experience at the Pharos-Summertime Villa. Very much so made our trip amazing. It's sad to here the owners under pay them. If it wasnt for the staff we probably would not have stayed there. The pool area was the dopiest part of the house. The room and living quarters is VERY DATED. Needs to be updated for sure. Overall great experience.

We celebrated my daughters 25th birthday at the villa. Twelve 25 years old in one beautiful villa. The ladies loved the spacious rooms, took a dip in the pool everyday and enjoyed her birthday dinner poolside on a beautifully decorated table.

The staff was terrific. There were 8 staff members supporting our stay. Clarence - Cook = Great talent and ability and a super personality. Very cooperative and helpful. Oliver - Head Butler = Extremely experienced and willing to do anything and everything he could to help us have a delightful stat in Jamaica. Marguette - Housekeeper/Maid = Primarily was the maid and laundress. Her attention to details was great. Cleanliness of the rooms and the house in general was great. Samantha -- Assistant to Oliver = Great personality and very helpful in all duties, helping Oliver and waiting on the guests. My children loved her. Patrice -- Assistant in Housekeeping - We loved her manner, her sweetness and her smile. She did a great jub keeping the cleanliness of the villa excellent. Glen -- Gardener -- the plants, vegetables and trees and flowers and bushes were all in good shape. He stayed busy maintaining the grounds. Pete -- Security = Was very much in site and maintained a safe atmosphere daily. He checked on us daily morning and night. Hot water was not good in the East wing on the 1st floor. The entire house could use some renovation.

I just want to say if I can give this villa a 10 star rating, I definitely would. The time spent in this this villa was not enough. I truly had a memorable time with everyone in this home. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay at this villa one to remember. Special shout out to Oliver, Samantha, Chief Clarence, and King for showing us a GREAT time. These people deserve a raise and we truly appreciate each and everyone of them. I was so sad on the day we had to leave because it felt like we were leaving behind our family. To the staff this is definitely not goodbye, this is see you later. We shall meet again. Thank you Oliver, Samantha, Clarence, Gene, and all of the other staffs! This trip was such a success because you all were amazing and made us comfortable and feel at home away from home! I'm telling everyone to book at Summertime when vacationing in Mobay! Oliver was also very friendly but he didn't show up for a few hours after we arrived which didn't set the greatest first impression. The wifi was terrible throughout the stay and considering we are currently living in a virtual space for both work and school this should be looked at. There were college seniors among the group who needed to get work done, there was supervisors, and also entrepreneurs who needed to use the wifi to complete daily tasks but had much trouble doing so. Again, the staff was friendly and it was not as though our stay was terrible but things could've been much better. As a group of young, professional women who travel often, we expected better.

I love this location! Staff was amazing, amenities amazing, amazing view, I could go on and on.

Jamaican Treasures was truly a Treasure and Pharos-Summertime Villa was beyond our expectations! Jamaican Treasures was truly the best vacation booking experience I've ever had. From the very beginning they were extremely responsive and attentive to all my needs and wants. They did everything in their power to grant all my requests and make my 50th birthday celebration the best it could possibly be. We were a group of 12 women and our vacation, thanks to Jamaican Treasures, was nothing short of Fabulous! Special thanks to Lisa, Tricia, Stephanie, and Swady for all your hard work helping me plan. The villa/house itself was absolutely beautiful! Walking out to the back took our breath away. The fresh, sweet mangoes all along the property were an added bonus. We enjoyed every moment of being spoiled by our butler Oliver, chef/cook Bev, housekeeper Marvette, laundress Patricia, groundskeeper/security Glen, and our private driver Roy! They are the ones that really made this villa stay at Pharos-Summertime so fabulous! We are already planning a return trip soon!

We had an incredible experience at Pharos, the home was beyond amazing, but for us what really made the vacation superior was the staff and the food. We are coming back for Ms Pat's food, Oliver's kindness and attention to detail and CARD TRICKS, and everyone else Patricia, Annette, Marvette.... we can't say enough how much we enjoyed our week there and how well we were taken care of. We are already planning our next trip! Thanks again!

We are definitely making a trip back to Pharos Summertime soon! Everything was perfect...from the home to the views but what we enjoyed the most was the staff and the food! Thank you all so much for a trip of a lifetime!

This is my third time at Pharos Summertime with my family. We absolutely love the Villa and the staff are so professional and accommodating. This last vacation was our best ever and the children really enjoyed themselves. My son celebrated his 14th birthday 🎂 while we were there and the staff decorated and joined In to sing him happy birthday. We already have friends that are planning to visit because of our enjoyable experience. The experience is so relaxing and phenomenal I wish we could visit every year. I am planning another visit soon. This is truly a piece of paradise 💕👍🏼

The staff at this villa was by far the best staff we have experienced of any villa we have stayed. They helped make my Mom's birthday very special. And I have to say the chef at this villa was outstanding. Every meal we had was outstanding. They worked well with us to plan meals and work around our excursions in such a great way. We had a great experience at this villa. Ms. Pat the chef was out of sight and Oliver the butler made sure all of our needs and requests were met! And Ms. Marvette the lead house manager/housekeeper kept impeccable records so we could reconcile the grocery bill and pick up any additional items we needed. This villa was very well maintained and had spectacular views. Also our stay at this villa allowed us access to the exclusive Tryall Beach Resort as well. We would definitely love to go back! My family and I have discussed making this an annual trip at this specific villa! GREAT VACATION!

Everything was wonderful, I cannot believe i waited so long to visit your Island. Your staff throughout the process, particularly Stephanie have been very responsive and never made me feel like i was asking a dumb question, please give her my best. Our group with me as coordinator had been working toward this trip for a year, and it did not disappoint. The Pharo staff were so accommodating and friendly. The food was wonderful and the place was always clean. We even went to church on Sunday and enjoyed it immensely. The young people had a blast and we all got along so well first because we love each other and 2nd because everything was so impressive.The grounds were impeccable, it is truly a beautiful property and by the first morning we were all very pleased with our property choice, which I take credit for. Again please know that the staff there were amazing, I cannot say enough about Oliver, and his helpfulness and willingness to make sure we were happy, including staying close and up at night to lock up after the club hoppers came in. Lastly, and please be sure to share this. The love and appreciation we have for Errol our driver cannot be overstated. He is an amazing customer service oriented driver, who knows and loves his County, he know it's history we felt safe with him at all times, and believe me we went from one end of Jamaica to the other, and the roads and drivers are no joke but he call roll with the best of them. Ken Smythe could not have picked a more befitting driver for our diverse group, he could relate to everyone and our young people hit it off beautifully with him. Reviews are important, it lets a company know what they did great and what they can do better, it means we wish you great success. Thank you for everything we loved it, and we felt such a kinship with the people. People who get stuck on the resorts at Negril and the other places and don't venture out do not know what they are missing. For a week we had our own home in Jamaica, our own staff and our own driver who made sure we got to see Jamaica and appreciate the beauty of it. Yeah Mon. Walk good until we see you again.

Villa was everything we had seen online through photos. Staff was incredible- extremely accommodating, responsive, and helpful in planning our excursions. Food was delicious (props to Oliver) and Dwight took incredible care of us.

My family and I had the privilege at the Pharos Summertime Villa for a summer vacation and we can't wait to go back next summer. The staff and service was superior. Honorable mention to the Dwight for tending to our every need. Chef Oliver was spot on with the stew chicken and curry chicken. The entire staff was amazing. #simmonssummer2018 can't come fast enough.

Pharos-Summertime is priced moderately and the physical villa is moderate. By far, the staff are what make the villa enjoyable. Beautifully landscaped, great view of the ocean, and the well maintained pool are all fantastic. With repairs and updates the villa would up its appeal.

Staying at Pharos Summertime is like being in a movie! Exceptional view, luxorious Villa with a unique flair! Great staff members who go out of their way to make you feel royal!
