We had a wonderful time… truck traffic was very heavy and loud… dock area furniture needs some attention… other than that … we enjoyed ourselves

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was extremely well kept and the ease of renting and staying was exceptional. There were many things for the family to do besides relaxing, which is what I needed most.

We used the cabin on a family ski trip to Peek N’ Peak (about 5 minutes away). The cabin has a lot of charm! It is well-stocked, with almost everything you could think of! Had no issues while staying there and would recommend this property in any season (I bet the summer is a blast too).

Loved the cottage. Bedrooms are small. The lake view is awesome and the people are friendly. Definitely would go back.

Sunny Side Up is our go-to in Findley Lake, always welcoming and feels like home in any season! Communication is a breeze, check-in and check-out are easy, everything you could need or want is provided (and much more), the beds are super comfy, the powder room on the second floor is a great extra, and overall, the house and dock are wonderful places to get away, relax and enjoy nature and the beautiful lake! Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at this peaceful and cozy cottage with wonderful lake/sunset views. Loved the mix of antique furnishings and modern amenities. The pretty outdoor area with fireplace backing up to the woods was a great place to spend an evening. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock both during the daytime and in the evenings to watch the sunsets. Thank you for sharing your property - we loved it!

Loved the cottage, well stocked but did not like the fact it was on a busy road, many trucks and had to cross this to get to the dock with dog and small children.

The photos of this property don't do it justice. It is absolutely adorable! Quirky and fun. Tiny stairwell, bathroom, and guest bedrooms made us feel like little garden gnomes at a lake. Extremely clean. well decorated, soft linens, comfortable beds. Tons of games to play, beautiful sun porch, darts, pool table, etc. My boys and I had a blast. Kayaked around the lake, visited lake Erie a couple times (one beach is only 20 min away), watched the sun set from the dock, and just relaxed. Wonderful place to stay, with very welcoming and gracious hosts.

This quaint cottage was very clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. The kitchen was stocked with staples, glassware, pots and pans, and plenty of dishes/ flatware. Love that it had both a Keurig and coffee maker. Our favorite part about the cottage was the sunroom and front bedroom as both had clear, beautiful views of the lake. We also liked the large outdoor fireplace and seating area although we could only enjoy it for a short time due to nighttime temperatures in the 20’s. The only suggestion we would have is to provide more comfortable seating options for the living space. The futon was comfy, but the 2 sitting chairs weren’t conducive for relaxing in front of the gas fireplace. We plan to come back sometime when the weather is warmer and we can use the dock and kayaks.
