The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and well kept. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped (watch out though, the water gets super hot). Truly within walking distance of all the cute little shops and restaurants.

The home was beautiful with a wonderful large stone fireplace and a huge kitchen table for the family to gather around to play games. The home is in the perfect location to walk to all of the restaurants and bars in town. There are four bedrooms, two have terrific beds, two not so much. The comfort of those two bedrooms would be my only complaint of the home. Would stay again, if only I hadn't blown my knee out skiing!!

Owner is very accommodating and friendly! An amazing house, right in the center of the action of town. Doesn't get any better than this!

The perfect home for the perfect weekend! I rented this home for the weekend with several coworkers as one of them is moving out of state and we wanted to spend some quality time together before she leaves. I can’t express how beautiful and perfect this home and our stay was! The owner was communicative and resolved the one minor issue with the door code quickly. The huge kitchen and table accommodated everyone for brunch, and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare it. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds very comfy. The multiple showerheads in the showers were amazing! The hot tub was heated up and ready as soon as we arrived, and there were speakers throughout the home to play your own music. I really hope another opportunity arises to rent this home again, just not another goodbye party for a beloved friend!! Thank you!

The house was perfect. Much bigger than the pictures show and has every amenity you could ask for. Will definitely come back.

The Ellicottville property was a beautiful home in an absolute perfect location for our family celebration. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fixtures, finishes, furniture and loved the layout. Again, perfect for a gathering to celebrate my mother-in-law's 75th birthday with 3 generations of our family. Unfortunately though, several items caused us frustration; any one on their own probably would not have been a problem, but they added up to impact our experience with this rental. First, I was told we would receive the code to access the home the day before. At 5:20 pm (with an arrival time of 2 pm previously communicated) I had to contact the owner to ask for the info while my 82 year-old F-I-L waited in the driveway. I was told that it should have been sent already but wasn't. Second was the inability to get the either fireplace or stereo in the bar area working. We troubleshot every which way with no luck. Finally called the property manager and was told to try a different remote (which of course we had tried all of them) and that the stereo "should be working." With 2 20-something's and a teenager having tried every trick in the book, we finally gave up. A few other details that added to the list...no blinds on the windows (in a 2nd floor bathroom that faces an adjacent home), mold in the ice maker in the bar area and a cold hot tub on the first night (temp turned way down) after we paid an extra $150 to have the use of the hot tub for half of our stay because it didn't warm up in time. But, the most concerning of all was receiving a terrible message while we were out to dinner Saturday night accusing us of having violated the contract by having too many people at the house; reminding us that it is not a party house. We were not even there and had the agreed upon 10 people staying there. When I replied to the email confused, the only explanation I got was that "friends had walked by." Not sure how that translates to accusing us of violating the contract but it was disruptive and rude. I did receive my security deposit back after 2 weeks in the form of a personal check (that has to be deposited at the bank because it is international). Also a major inconvenience! Could consider writing a check for the security deposit amount and hold until property can be cleared. Again, this is an incredible property and we were glad that we could stay but I'm hoping this review can improve on the experience for others.

Modern and artful decor. Everything one needed for day to day operations (plates, cutlery basic condiments, grill with full propane) plus extra niceties (ice machine for bar drinks, pre-cut fire wood). Responsive and flexible landlord. Intend to stay again!

This home is wonderful. I rented the house with 7 girlfriends for a long weekend. It was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, with lots of amenities. The warm concrete floors as we entered were nice. The bar/lounge were comfortable and a great place to hang out. All the bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to prepare great meals and spend quality time together. The hot tub and porch with heaters was a great place to hang out. There was nothing we would change. The owner clearly put a lot of thought into the decor. The rental experience was perfect. The location is also great. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
