Overall was very pleased with the property. The kitchen was stocked well with appliances and cookware which helped a lot. It is very spacious and clean. Could use a little more attention to cleaning under beds, dressers, and couch. Found lots of chip bags and candy wrappers underneath. Hot tub and fire pit was nice. The chairs around the firepit were not very sturdy and actually had one collapse on us but was still able to enjoy the fire! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This property was amazing. Three full bedrooms and two baths were just enough space for my sisters and I. The dock was a little tricky to find at first but we loaded everything in to the car and parked for the day and went out on the boat. It was awesome we had a dock slip with the house.
Hot tub was great, very well equipped kitchen as well!
My only issue is a few maintenance things that we called management about weren’t addressed (ceiling fan didn’t work in one bedroom, garbage disposal didn’t work) and the mattresses were very old and hard to sleep on. The twin mattress makes quite a bit of noise for others sleeping in that room as well so just be prepared.
Would definitely stay here again!

This property was absolutely perfect! The house was very spacious and the furniture was cozy. We were there to ski and celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. We enjoyed the extra large table for meals and games. The kitchen was well stocked with every amenity that you would need. The hot tub was clean and in perfect condition. The parking was the best of any rental I have been to in Deep Creek. The bathroom floors were even heated! Such a beautiful and private setting. I would recommend this property to anyone and will surly rebook it!

The hot tub didn't work when we came the first night, they promptly had someone to fix it the next morning. The hot water didn't work either the second night but overall great time. Clean and great costumer service

Knotty Pines was a great place for our family to stay. Rooms are big, couches are comfy and plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Close to the lake. The assigned boat slip & dock was a short walk from the cabin. The Only downfall was that the beds weren’t the comfiest. All in all, it was the perfect place!

We had a lovely time here. It was a great location, met all of our amenity needs, and had plenty of living spaces for the varied needs of our party.
The boat slip was wonderful and it easily held our rented pontoon boat. It is important to note that people with mobility issues would not be able to walk down the rocky path to the boat slip though.
We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for our collage age kids and our dog to vacation with us
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We didn’t have a boat so no need to be near the water. Knotty pines was very equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were a hit. My only complaint is the decks needed a good power wash because they were very slippery after all the rain we had. Otherwise , we definitely will book this rental again and refer our friends/family.

This was an amazing house. Perfect space for our group, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Check in / check out could not have been easier. Our only issue was with the refrigerator. The bottom shelf was broken, so we couldn’t store anything there. We will definitely be back!

The home we rented was very nice a big kitchen dinning room area & a nice living room. The cleaning needs to be more detailed prior to guess arrival. Some things did not appear to have been cleaned prior to our stay. Could not use dish drainer called property management to send someone to clean under the sink where it was stored. This was done the same day I requested it. When sweeping as requested by property management I found items under the couch, a lot of dog hair and the top to a flashlight. When vacuuming as requested by the property management I found the vacuum had not been emptied in a while, the vacuum was packed full, I had to clean it before using it. The shed for storage smelled terrible, we found there was garbage left in the shed in two cans that was slimy. My family took care of it by taking it to the bear proof container at the end of the drive. We called the office about the cans being at the end of the drive & they were to send someone to take care of them, but they remained at the end of the road. When checking in at the property management office we also spoke with someone about the garbage in the shed, she stated that we should not have access to to garage or shed. I explained that on the website when I rented it stated that their were two garages that could be used. The garage was locked but that storage shed attached to it was open. She stated that the cleaning personnel would not know about the garbage because they are normally locked. Cans never did get cleaned, we brought them back. There needs to be at least 2 wash clothes per person for the stay we washed them every day. There were two homes in front of the home this information is not on website. The neighbor did not lease their dog kept coming over upsetting our dog. Light around the porch need repaired & porches need to be better maintained. The fire pit and the hot tub were both very enjoyable. All in all we enjoyed our stay with items needing to be addressed for future clients.

Our family spent the week in Deep Creek in a rental House called the Knotty was a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a large kitchen and dining, living room space... The outside had a porch and table and chairs and grill, the mere was a hot tub and a outside fire pit!... We spent every night around the fire out singing and making s’mores ... The weather was raining on and off but still had a great time!

The house is in a good location. Minutes away from several state parks. Nestled in a wooded area. Used the fire pit every night. Several houses were around, but it was very quiet. The house was clean and comfortable.

We had a nice overall time in spite of a couple issues with the house. First, the oven was not cleaned and when we started to cook it smoked so bad we had to turn off so we wouldn't set off the smoke detectors. We could not use for our entire stay. Also, in the Master bedroom closet the water filtration system was located, and every night at 11 pm it would go off with a loud regeneration sounds that would last 30 minutes, making it impossible to go to sleep or stay asleep if we went to bed early. The Taylor-Made staff was very friendly, and we love the area. We plan to return sometime, however we will explore other options for our next visit.
