The freezer had a very bad smell that I was unable to remedy with cleaning and baking soda. The property manager sent a housekeeping employee to clean it but she wasn't able to remove the smell either. The refrigerator had some of the odor, too. The dish washer didn't clean the dishes and didn't open the door for the detergent to be released usually and required several washes to get them clean. The beach view and access were amazing. However, the price was too much for the condition inside the condo.

Reviewer Comments: We had quite a few problems with the recent stay, which I will try to summarize.1) The staff was not helpful or friendly when I picked up keys. I had emailed about an early check in, they made no mention of it, said they would text if cleaners got done early - and did not, although the cleaners were done an hour early.2) The door code we were given for our May stay was the same in October.3) The storage locker is full of broken furniture and bad smell - we called and left a vm, never got a call back.4) The water in the second shower only got lukewarm, not hot.Needless to say, we will not be using Island Vacation properies in the future.

I was disappointed in the master bed mattress, sagged, and the cleanliness of the dishes. Glasses/silverware/skillet were not clean and needed to be hand washed to remove dried food. Skillets needed to be replaced. We thought we would have access to beach chairs/umbrella, but the storage unit was locked. Our neighbors had access to theirs. Couch sagged and loveseat was somewhat better. Overall, I spent 90% of time on deck/beach and enjoyed Bradenton tremendously. I have stayed at better locations, so I would return to the area, just not this location.

Beautiful view impressive unit enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff and assisting with giving us contact information for their drivers. And also the opportunity to use the app loaded kitchen. Check and process was a little rough because the code given was not working on the keyless entry and the keys given were not working. However we called for assistance and they were able to reset a new code and get us into the unit after hours. Definitely will return to this unit and recommend it to others.

A great view, and a great time for all. Right on the beach, shuttle stop a block away. I would definitely stay here again.

The kitchen is fully stocked. The condo was very clean. We also loved the use of the storage closet in the garage, so we did not have to bring all of the beach gear to the room each day.
The shower head in the master bath was AMAZING! I also loved the split vanities in the master bath. This did help with getting dressed while someone is showering.

The property was located right on the whitest sand beach I've ever seen! The wispy beach grass, and beautiful gulf couldn't have made for a more beautiful view and beach going experience. The property is not far from anything, but is also not close to some of the better activities or restaurants. You need to use your car, but only for a very short drive. The property was stocked very nicely, but you need to be ready to bring your own few amenities like toilet paper. A couple of things I would say to the property management company: 1) Update the interior photos of the Condo. The pictures on-line show a Tommy Bahama look, but the actual furnishings are completely different. 2) The mattresses on both beds need to be changed. One bed mattress is as hard as a rock. No way for my wife and I to sleep on. The other mattress is rather soft and tilted. 3) Ease off on the number of you must check out by 10am reminder messages. I would recommend this property to friends and I would stay here again.

It has been updated making it very luxurious. Heavy, high-end sliding doors make up the entire back wall highlighting a breathtaking view of the beach. You can sit on the patio and watch the sunsets. Appliances and kitchenware were good quality. I had a choice of Cusinart drip coffee like I drink at home or convenient Keurig cups. It had a new stove, refrigerator with an ice maker and full size dishwasher, washer and dryer. Bathrooms were redone very nicely with strong water pressure. Mattresses on the beds were fantastic as was the huge comfy sofa. TV’s in each room. It was well appointed with plenty of towels, good pillows, sheets, blow up mattresses and crisp white sheets. There is covered parking with a spicket for cleanup when coming off the beach. Beach chairs and toys are located in the storage closet in the parking garage. There is one set of steps to get up to the unit so be aware of that. The pool is small but very nice. We usually do enjoy walking to restaurants & shopping but needed to use the trolley or drive for that.Would I recommend this condo to a friend? ABSOLUTELY!

Our keypad to the front door stopped working but we got a quick response and were brought a key to use the rest of our stay. We had a couple issue with a/c but that was due to storms knocking the power out. This was quickly resolved as well. The beds were comfy. The couches seemed a little old and could be a little cleaner. But we didn’t need to use them much. We loved the locker downstairs to store beach stuff. Also it was very close to the beach. Great views. Close to everything we needed. Management company was excellent and friendly. Would stay again.

The location of the condo was perfect for a walk on the beach & a short walk to an excellent nearby restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We booked with Island Vacation Properties and could not have been more pleased. They were able to accommodate us with an early check in which gave us almost a whole day of beach time. The property was perfect! It was right on the beach and a couple blocks from the trolley stop. We had no problem with wifi or the tv. The mattresses in both bedrooms was like sleeping on a cloud! I especially like the water pressure in the shower as well. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing missing was salad tongs. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit which came in handy. The beach was absolutely gorgeous! We did notice any redtide symptoms at all. The storage unit in the garage had usable beach equipment which was great. We will definitely by back! Than you AMI!

Having a beachfront site was quite convenient as we could walk right out to the beach. The apartment was spotless, and very comfortable.

We had a couple small hiccups with the condo that were immediately remedied by Island Vacation Properties staff. The condo was perfect for us. It sits directly on the beach. Every morning we'd wake up to sit on our screened in porch to watch the dolphins play and at night sit and watch the sunsets. It was beautiful! We especially liked the sitting on the porch without the worry of bugs. The condo was perfect size and centrally located on Bradenton Beach. Sunset Terrace is the only condo we have ever rented, and will always remain that way. IVP is stellar rental company. They are always kind and helpful. Especially this year, because we really didn't know if we'd get the green light to go to AMI with Covid regulations. But we did, and it was paradise!
