Such an adorable house. It was perfect for our group. Easy to find and within walking distance to fun shops and restaurants. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Dolly’s was the perfect place for my family together, all from different areas. The house is beautiful, with the front porch to drink coffee on and the back patio with a lot of room for people to hang out on. Location is perfect for every place. You would want to go in Decorah. We loved our stay, and will be back!

Have stayed in houses before. This is the first one that didn’t have a laundry list of jobs that had to be done before we left. Didn’t even have to strip the beds or wash the dishes or towels! Home was clean and definitely comfortable. Very happy!

Dolly's place was a great home to host family for our daughter's graduation from Luther College. We had the grandma's with us, so the first floor bedroom and bathroom worked really well for one that has trouble with steps. House was beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to walk downtown for coffee Saturday morning and a little shopping.
We have fallen in love with Decorah over the last few years. We will definitely return to Decorah and Dolly's Place in the future!

Polly’s has so much character and lots of charm. The house had plenty of space for a group of people. The owners were great to work with. I loved the house!

Just what we were looking for. Lots of room and the front porch was great. Everything was as advertised and the location was close to everything . Would recommend this property for anyone looking for space and a great location in Decorah.

Awesome for family gathering
We had mulit-family gathering here and it was perfect. We really appreciated their flexibility in check-in/check-out time. The location was ideal! It's just short walk to downtown, a few blocks to get on the bike trails, there is a really nice basketball court and playground just down the street. The neighborhood felt really safe and was quiet. We loved all the 'usable' spaces for gathering at the house: 2 sitting areas on front porch, good size dining room table, family room and nice back deck w/table for dining. I cooked a few meals and found the kitchen to be really well appointed. I would HIGLY recommend this place to anyone!

Dolly's Place was the perfect home for our family vacation in Decorah. The location of the house is ideal as we could walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, a movie theater, and a playground. The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with all the amenities of home.

We were celebrating Luther College graduation all weekend and it was so great to have a landing spot where other families could join us. Everything was as described and the kitchen was well stocked. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Downtown stores and restaurants were easy to reach on foot. It was a perfect way to end our 4 years visiting Decorah — so good we think we’ll come back again even though our college student has moved on!

Great landing spot for graduation weekend
We were celebrating Luther College graduation all weekend and it was so great to have a landing spot where other families could join us. Everything was as described and the kitchen was well stocked. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Downtown stores and restaurants were easy to reach on foot. It was a perfect way to end our 4 years visiting Decorah — so good we think we’ll come back again even though our college student has moved on!

We loved staying here! I rented the home with 4 friends who had gathered for our 30th college reunion. Check-in and check-out was amazingly easy and the location is prime…short walking distance to all the cute downtown shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again on a future trip!

Family Weekend
Couldn't have asked for a better first-time stay in Decorah, especially for three families with small kids. Great central location and the room layouts along with the thoughtful touches from the hosts made it feel like home. Highly recommended!

A very nice home that was very welcoming. It had a well-stocked kitchen (except for a good-sized rubber spatula), comfortable beds, and so convenient to downtown. This was part of a larger family reunion and became a meeting point as family memebers departed for various activities.

This property was spotless. Plenty of room for 4 families to gather. We rode bikes, went to parks, shopped, walked to restaurants. Wonderful hosts; loved it.

Perfect Place!
This was absolutely perfect for our group as we were shopping and experiencing downtown Decorah. We could walk to the places we wanted to visit. We sure wish the weather would have been warmer to enjoy the deck and front porch, but there was lots of room inside for us to play games and enjoy our time in Decorah. Simply perfect!

Perfect Wedding Weekend!!!
Dolly's Place was absolutely perfect for our family as we celebrated the wedding of our daughter Alex to Oket, her Luther College love. We were able to get ready for the big event and then relax afterwards in the comfort of Dolly's Place. The house is so cute and so comfortable!! You feel like you are at Grandma' s house all over again! We were able host a post wedding day brunch and the dining room, living room and porch were alive with love and laughter as I am sure Dolly would have loved!! Dolly's place
Communication with the owners was perfect. They called us when were about 40 minutes away gave us the check in instructions then gave us restaurant recommendations. There were 10 of us, everyone fell in love with the house. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was immaculate. Had everything we needed and more. We had an awesome time and look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you!

Convienent Location, beautiful house!
We gathered here for my husband's Luther reunion. It was so nice to have a chance to talk and catch up with friends without shouting over bar noise. The house is very clean and comfortable. Many nice extra's that you don't usually find in a VRBO. This has been added to our favorites and I'm sure we'll rent again!

Dolly's place had everything we wanted for a family weekend in Decorah. Walking distance of downtown, plenty of space, all the amenities, etc. Our day usually started and finished on the wonderful front porch talking with friends and family. Bruce was great and would definitely stay there again.
