My family and I enjoyed staying so close to the beach and with a gorgeous view of the beach from the balcony! The place had all we needed to be comfortable. The bathroom included shower products and the kitchen included all we needed to cook while staying in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time. The condo is beautifully updated with such designer high end features. Everything is so comfortable and pretty. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need. The beds are so comfortable with great mattresses and cozy sheets. Best of all is the amazing view! We sat for hours on the balcony enjoying the gulf breezes and view. The beach access is very easy, walk right down the boardwalk and you are there. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. We had a wonderful trip with many cherished memories.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SPI in this condo and will definitely see if it is available next year. My adult daughter and I spent the weekend in SPI (an annual tradition). One of our favorite places to have lunch/a drink/listen to music and has a great view of the beach is Wanna Wanna Grille, and this condo is a super short walk via the beach or sidewalk along the road. The condo itself is super cute, very clean and well stocked with the essentials. It is decorate bright and cheerful. I love how the balconies are built. You feel like you are out there on your own watching the sunrise. The beds are very comfy. Nice towels for the showers. The large parking lot across the street was really convenient. Plenty of parking spots. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and hope to return soon.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Management was very responsive. It was a very nice and clean place to stay! Oceanfront view was amazing and refreshing!!!

We had the amazing opportunity of staying in this beautiful condo. It felt like a much needed home away from home. Access and parking for the condominium were convenient. The ocean-side view is perfect. The first thing we did was walk the beach and stroll back on the bay side. The condo had plenty of board games and room to chat, play, and disconnect. I recommend this condo as your home away from home.

Great location! We loved being right on the beach and yet in walking distance of restaurants and local shops! Beautiful condo and will stay here again! The host was very helpful checking in and responded very quickly to any questions we had!

My family had the best time! This was our first time visiting a beach, so I really wanted a condo that overlooked the beach and this one was perfect! The view is amazing!!! If I could upload some pictures of the sunrise, I would! It’s truly an amazing spot on the beach! The bed in the master is so nice and comfortable, unlike stiff hotel beds! My kids loved the bunk beds and my oldest liked the pull out bed from under the bunk beds. They all slept very comfortably and took turns on the top bunk. We also loved that there was a full kitchen for anything we needed, with a family of 5 a full size refrigerator is important and that was so nice to have one. The condo has every comfort of home! There was more than enough towels and extra blankets for everyone if they needed! My husband and I are both art teachers and we thought the mural in the kitchen was neat and the art work in the master is just perfect for the beach! The over all beach theme was just awesome, we loved it! There was also everything you need for the beach already in the condo, chairs, an umbrella, water boards, and tons of toys for the kids!! The pool downstairs is nice too, we went swimming twice and had the whole pool to ourselves. You can walk straight to the beach on the walkway from the condo which was nice! There is a shower to try and get as much sand off as possible when you come in from the beach. But there is a broom upstairs too, incase some gets in with the kiddos. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this condo and beach experience! We absolutely loved the host and Mario who gave us some good tips on good places to eat. They were both so nice and wonderful! I hope we get to go again in the future!

Nice kitchen for cooking meals. My hubby and I really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, enjoying the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves, while sipping our evening “adult” beverages. Nice pool for relaxing. Convenient parking across the street from the building. Wonderful beach vacation!

The heater did not work and we were there at a very cool temp time. The windows were steamed over and dripping. We set up fans to dry the windows out so we could see the view. After two days of freezing, the property manager found some space heaters which They said took a lot of effort on their part. The last day we were there the workers were there fixing the heater.

This little condo is clean and well decorated. Sits right on the ocean front with an easy walk to the beach. Central in S. Padre. Small pool. Deck across the back is small but has a beautiful view. The condo has everything you need for cooking and visiting the beach. Only problem with our stay was it was too cold to sit out on the deck! No fault of anyone.

We visited South Padre for New Year’s. The main bedroom overlooking the beach was very comfortable. The large bunk bed was great for the kids and we really appreciated and enjoyed the beach toys that were provided to use.

My family and I had an amazing and memorable time at South Padre over the holidays and this property deserves a lot of credit for that. The property has all the amenities one or a family would need and is probably the best spot to have a picture perfect view from the balcony of the beach and feel that nice cool breeze of the wind and the pure sounds of the water and waves. The beach is about 100 yards or less walking distance from the property and there are plenty of kids toys to take to the beach as well that are available on the property - my kids definitely enjoyed the surf boards! The only constructive criticism I would have for the property is that since the building is an older building and is super close to the beach, we did find some small bugs in various places of the apartment. Therefore, I would recommend that the pest control services should either be added, improved, and the frequency of the pest control services for both the apartments and the building should be amplified. Erika and Mario are definitely great hosts and shout out to Mario for giving a lot of helpful info during our stay and providing info for great activities and restaurants and I appreciate Erika for arranging to clean the balcony even though I didn't request it. I highly recommend this property for your next stay and I guarantee you will not regret it.

We loved staying at Erika’s condo! It was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family of 3. The second bedroom has bunk beds so it’s great for more kids, too. Beach views were beautiful and restaurants were close. Great location. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Basically, we had a series of unfortunate events that tainted our experience. Part of that was my responsibility- my first time renting a VRBO in my name, there were things I wasn't aware of - like keeping my phone on me at all times & having an emergency contact at all times. After I rented the condo, I got an email with a whole bunch of information. I made notes on my phone with the most important - i.e. gate codes and front door code. After driving 7 hours, the code to front door did not work. After trying a few times, I looked at more recent emails that I had received to verify the codes. The code had changed. When we went to leave, the door would not lock. I notified the owner, she said she would have someone come and fix it. The owner was already aware there was a problem with the door and had someone lined up to fix it - but it should have been repaired prior to our arrival. After dinner, we went for a walk on the beach. Only to find out when we came back, the back gate code was also wrong. Fortunately, there were people on the balcony that told us it was the same as the front gate. Around 8pm the next evening, when we had been at the pool and it started to rain, the door would not unlock. At all. Barefoot, in bathing suits, at night in the rain, no wallets or keys - I did not have my phone on me and even though I added my sister (who did have her phone on her), she did not have access to email the owner. We tried neighbor (bad plan), we called the police - they could do nothing, we called the building management company that basically laughed and said too bad, and another tenant in the building called VRBO who said they tried to contact the owner and got no answer. The owner's emergency contact showed up after about 1 1/2 hours, got us in after 1/2 hour. VRBO & the building supposedly had the codes to the lockbox with a physical key, but didn't relay that info. I would give VRBO 1 star, the condo 4 stars, the neighbor was rude & condescending (she lives there) and therefore a detriment. The property was nice, clean, in a good location, the parking was great.. The building management should put in a boardwalk to the beach, most buildings had one, (you walk through a sandy path with a lot of weeds & stickers), but that's not the owner's issue. The owner was apologetic, paid for us to have a nice lunch before we left. Again, a series of unfortunate events. All could have been prevented if the lock had been fixed up front.

We came for a mid week get away. The parking lot was so convenient and lots of space. Having a key pad instead of keys was super easy to come and go as needed. The view was amazing - even though a storm came through while we were there. Very comfortable bed, great wifi, cable, dining, kitchen set up. One down side was that during non-peak season the stores and restaurants close early (some places 8pm - 9pm), so make sure you plan your meals/shopping early. Host was super responsive and made it easy to navigate access to the condo and check out. We had to leave a day early and host was very flexible and understanding. Highly recommend for amazing beach view, balcony and close easy beach access. Older building but residents friendly, clean and kept up.

Over the years my wife and I have booked rentals properties on various internet sights. This was the first time we used VRBO. The unit has been nicely remodeled and has everything you will need. The location is good and the views are absolutely fantastic. I wish I could go back tomorrow. Hands down the best place we have ever rented.

The building was not what we expected when we arrived. The building exterior and balcony rails need a coat of paint. The boardwalk was uneven and should reach the beach; we should not have to hike through the sand trail with debris in it to get there. Vegetarian by the pool needs much improvement. At the gate to the beach, the shower is in need of repair. The kitchen accessories needs improving, such as better quality pans, serving dishes, chip bag clips, ceram wrap/aluminum foil, cleaning spray, I am of the opinion that as long as the dishes have been cleaned in or gone through a cycle of the dishwasher, we should not have to put the dishes away. Also, we were in need of more trash bags than provided. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the balcony. We appreciate the boogie boards and beach toys. Beach access was excellent. Ample parking. I know the location cannot be helped, but it was on a busy street and we had to exercise caution when crossing the street to reach our vehicle.

Overall we were pleased with the condo. The pluses include the location, the ocean view, the comfortable king bed, the double sinks in the bathroom that were separated from the shower and toilet, plenty of closet and dresser storage, and the fact no keys were needed to access the property or the condo. Night lights were a nice touch and the kitchen had all we needed but there was zero space in cabinets to store the food we brought. Other than the noisy dishwasher, the condo was very quiet. Although there were beach chairs and toys, no beach towels were available. The bathroom towels were mismatched, small and not soft but adequate Laundry was down the walkway where two washing machines and two dryers were in a small closet-like space for the 15-unit complex. There was plenty of seating at the bar and large dining table but only a small couch in the living area. The space would be more comfortable with an extra comfy chair in the living space. We didn’t need the second bedroom but it would be a good set up for a family with two or three kids.

We had a nice time at this location. Really awesome views of the beach and easy access as well. The condo was clean and decorated in a nice “beach” theme.

Only negative was no elevator Good location. Great views of gulf and beach.
