This is a spacious beachfront property, with large areas (both indoor and outdoor), ideal for entertaining moderate-sized groups (10-15). The home has everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) you could possibly want in a VRBO.
Property owner Kevin was, by far, the most communicative and accommodating VRBO host we’ve ever experienced… a genuinely nice person.

GREAT PLACE!
The house was perfect for our large group and with the kids. Having a small pool would have added extra icing on the cake 🥰 but the hot tub was fine. The owners of the rental property made our vacation easy and relaxing THANK YOU!! From The Britt Crew!!

Fabulous beach house for young family
The host, Kevin, was so easy to work with. We had a family of nine with adults and kids 14 down to infants. There were tons of toys, beach equipment, condiments for cooking, etc. We look forward to returning!

Perfect beach getaway!
From the moment I booked until after I left, Kevin was amazing! He reached out to me a couple of days prior to the start of my reservation to brief me on key things he wanted me to know and ensure that any questions I had were answered so that I could be fully prepared for my stay. While there, my family and I literally had everything we needed. Kevin and Ansley have nearly everything covered for entertainment. A handful of DVDs, board games, bikes, a hot tub, a hammock, fire pit, two spacious living rooms to accommodate all guests, a horse shoe pit, an outdoor shower (my brother loved this), and cable TV.. literally everything covered. The only suggestion my family could think of was a ping-pong table. All of the essential supplies were adequately stocked upon our arrival (toilet paper, soap, etc.) and Kevin let me know that I could reach out to him if we came across anything else that we needed. All of the appliances in the home were up-to-date and easy to use (I sometimes find this rare). The house is in a friendly neighborhood just a few miles “away from society” (retailers and such were a couple of miles south), which created a more relaxing getaway environment. The beach was in walking distance and easily accessible with beautiful views; you can hear the ocean from the driveway. Kevin was very accommodating, easy to talk with, and was understanding/helpful with ensuring everything about my reservation was taken care of prior to the start of my stay. I HIGHLY recommend this home and would absolutely love to stay again!

Great House and Location
We loved all the things offered at the house and the location is great. Not far from Flagler Beach or Daytona. We did have some maintenance issues, but the owner was very responsive and got someone out quickly.

The house was big enough for everyone to have plenty of space. Great design and decor. House was well stocked with the basics, which made it very convenient. Beach area was not crowded, which we loved.

Perfect for our big family!
The Big Surf was the perfect home for our big family that includes parents, little kids and teenagers along with their grandmother and aunt that always joins our family vacations! Everyone had a bed and plenty of room to spread out and relax! We loved the secluded beach and was able to soak up lots of sunshine, swim, play in the sand and even fly our kites! We had fun chasing crabs while walking on the beach at night and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise in the mornings! The outdoor shower was so cool and convenient! We loved having the garage to store our gear and load up for the beach each day. The backyard was the icing on the cake with lounging chairs for reading, a hot tub for late night soaks and so much more! The local restaurants had excellent service and delicious seafood! Kevin was very responsive, made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s house! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The prefect house!
We brought our 3 adult children and 3 of their friends for a 21st birthday celebration and this place was absolutely perfect for the 8 of us. The private beach was just right down the street for our days and the backyard was perfect for our nights. We had a great day in Daytona, but really preferred Flagler. You really can't go wrong renting it this place for your large group! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!

Best place to stay
My family and I came to Florida for my nieces graduation and we could not have had a better stay thanks to our wonderful stay. We had everything you can imagine and we will definitely be back. Thanks so much for allowing our family to enjoy your home and literally having everything we could have needed there. We look forward to staying again!

Great family vacation spot
This is a great spot for a family vacation! You are near Daytona, St Augustine, and Ormond city. I like the beach being within walking distance, it was basically just our family and a few neighbors at the beach; which it gave it a private beach feeling and not having to worry about tons of people being there with you. Groceries stores near by and also many things to do around the area, that you don't have to drive far to. In the evening the hot tub was and fire pit were a great success for everyone to win down from the day at the beach. Very comfortable home for our large party of 17. The landlord took really good care of us and provided many things for our family to use. You won't regret at all staying here!

Daytona Truck Meet 2020
The pictures online honestly don’t do the home justice, perfect location and surroundings honestly. Me and my friends enjoyed how close it was to a less busier beach when we didn’t wannna go to Daytona, also enjoyed the hot tub and the bikes provided by owners for us to ride. Owner showed great hospitality, stayed in touch the entire trip and was very easy to reach

Wonderful!
This property was wonderful for our multi-generational family get together. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. Really enjoyed having two living spaces. Very clean and supplied with everything we might possibly have needed. Fridge is massive. The moms were happy that the little ones were contained in the backyard. Hot tub was a big hit. Kevin is very attentive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks! We had a wonderful time.

This was a perfect location for our family to enjoy a relatively private beach, with its fresh breezes and sunshine while maintaining distancing guidelines due to pandemic.

Wonderful beach home; you’ll love it!
If you’re traveling with your family or a large group this home will be perfect. It’s as great as advertised in the photos; clean and if you have little ones there’s everything you could need in the house. We had to cut our stay short because of hurricane and Kevin was very responsive as we were working through that plan. We would love to come back sometime!

A Piece (Peace) at the Beach
We needed to get away and this spot was perfect. It was a stone throw away from the beach. You could smell the water. The house was beautiful. Very nicely decorated with plenty of room at the dinner table for our big famlly. The beds were comfortable. However, the comforters on the beds were the icing on the cake. The kitchen had all the things we needed to cook and eat. The backyard was awesome. Took us a minute to figure out the hot tub, but we got it. The patio was spacious and relaxing. There's a patio table, with seating for 6-8, with a huge hanging umbrella to protect you from the mid-day sun as well as a fire pit with seating. There was a garage full of things to take to the beach along with a washing machine and dryer and cabinet with supplies like toilet paper, cleaning supplies and paper towels. Thanks for a great vacation. We couldn't have done that reasonably, in a hotel, there's just too many of us. A home away from home.

Beautiful backyard and close to beach!
I have stayed at this listing before a couple years back, and the quality of the house is as I remembered it. There were some minor issues during our stay, but the host was responsive and helpful. Very spacious and comfortable, and a very close walk to the beach! Would definitely recommend.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth
Just came back from a week of staying in this great house on the beach. At first I was skeptical of this home's reviews because we were used to renting beachfront. Boy was we wrong. From the very comfortable beds to the wonderful backyard family area, it was top notch. I think we enjoyed the home as much if not more than the beach. The home was very clean and inviting when we arrived but with 13 of us, We always worry about rooms and comfort , having enough towel etc but it was all there. yes we used all the rooms and all the beds but everyone from Grandparents to our 6 month old had a bed. There was bikes, beach toys, cornhole horseshoes. enough beach chairs for everyone. The hot tub was wonderful clean and worked beautifully. The kitchen was furnished with everything we could possibly need to fix meals. (Oh except for a shrimp deveiner which we purchased and left there for others).Our family will be back and will leave our towels and beach equipment at home...

Great Beach getaway!
I would highly recommend Big Surf for your next beach vacation. Located conveniently to the beach and also a short drive from the restaurants and bars of Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach, it is a great location. The house is very nicely decorated with plenty of space, both bedrooms and living space, so you can spread out and don't feel cramped. In addition the backyard offers another great outdoor living space when you are not down at the beach. The owners were very helpful and reached out to see if we got checked in okay and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this rental. -Joe

Home was AWESOME! Better than advertised and we will definitely stay again. Kevin and Ansley were on point and have thought of the little details. Recommendations for the fun stuff and restaurants were perfect. We were very close to the beach-only a 2 minute walk and the house had all the beach stuff we needed and more. Love the outdoor shower and Hot Tub. I usually comment about any issues but we had zero problems. And thanks to their special touches we had a perfect family reunion.

This is s besitiful home in a convenient location. The beach is close and very private.
We had a fantastic family vacation. There are 2 great areas for gathering inside and a spacious backyard with a great hot tub. Plenty of toys for the kids and bedrooms for privacy. The kitichen is well equipped but there are plenty of nearby restaurants as well as a great bar with food and a weekend brunch within walking distance. There are also lots of activities locally although we were happy to just enjoy our almost private beach. The owner was very responsive to our needs and I would definitely recommend Big Surf and would stay here again without reservation. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful house for a large family
We came to Florida for a wedding/family vacation. The home was amazing, perfect for us and 6 kids and even great for entertaining a crowd after the wedding. The Beach wasn't crowded at all and was a great break from the daily craziness.

The place is amassing just a short walk to the beach and specially the back yard has plenty of things to do and good for entertainment for the entire family. I highly recommend this place. The owners are very friendly and accommodating to there guest.

Ultimate Beach House
Absolutely, Gorgeous. Full beach theme throughout Big Surf. Everything is on hand to cooking utensil even family games. The house is a short walk from the beach. Only a short distance to Daytona. I would recommend Big Surf to any one looking for a comfortable clean getaway.
