We loved this location. We walked into town and took great hikes. Hosts were easy to reach. Price was very reasonable compared to local inns on a busy Labor Day weekend. I would to love to go back.

Thank you Cheri for a wonderful vacation! We escaped the heat of Sacramento & savored our time in Mendocino for the week. The studio has a great location (blocks from town, the point, & the headlands), the view was amazing, and the vacation home was equipped with everything one would need while staying here. We stayed here a few years back & hope to come back in the future.

My husband and I hadn't been to Mendocino in more than a decade. It's always been a favorite of ours and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was immaculately clean and very well equipped! The views from the living room window were spectacular. I loved the decor and the cozy feel. This is exactly what we look for in a vacation rental and we will absolutely be back. On the way out of town we were already talking about our next visit to Mendocino.

This is my second stay here and I will always stay here because of the cottage's home like feel: so comfortable, kitchen with good "tools" & spices AND because of the big window from which to watch the waves meet the rocky shore across the way. Love watching from here the sky and ocean. AND it's a short walk out to the Headlands trails along the coast and to the village. Cheri and Peter are both responsive and privacy supportive. This VRBO is a lovely, comfortable cottage with great views of the Mendocino ocean coast.

This is an amazing opportunity as a guest in Mendocino. You can't beat the location and the accommodations are very complete, beautiful and comfortable.
Very easy walk to downtown and the view is incredible. The kitchen is one of the best with regard to size, practicality and how it is equipped. Even had a salad spinner!

The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, knives (sharp!) & spices/oil/etc.
A nice split of wine was provided as a welcome.
Amenities included everything from books & games to a sewing kit & reading glasses.
A very pleasant stroll up into the center of the village for groceries & shopping & dining.

Very well equipped, cozy, freestanding unit. Really close to the restaurants and shops in Mendocino. Great view of the bay, and close to the headlands Trail. It rained throughout most of our stay, but we were warm inside, and enjoyed looking at the view across the fields to the bay while playing Scrabble

What a find! It doesn't get any better than this! The views and the location are amazing. The seaside cottage is comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed many walks to town and the state park where there are trails and views galore. There is plenty of shopping. dining options, and many amazing local wines! We will definitely be back!

This property is in a great location with easy access to town and to walking trails along the bluffs. Once the fireplace and space heater are going, the studio warms up quickly for which we were grateful on this rainy weekend. The kitchen is well appointed and we thoroughly enjoyed the CDs. The bed was very comfortable and we even asked the owner where she bought her pillows. We will definetely be back.

We loved Cheri's Mendocino rental. It was the perfect spot for our vacation, and we loved being so close to the bluffs. We were lucky enough to see an amazing sunset on our last night.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights after Christmas. we had a great time exploring the cliffs overlooking the ocean and walking around the town. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go and left the car parked at the studio for the duration of our stay. We are already talking about when we can come back for another stay.

I only have positive things to say about this house, and would happily return! It is perfectly located in Mendocino with Ocean Views and easy walks into town. We enjoyed it both as a spot to get out and explore the area (both by foot and by car), as well as to spend some time in the house - reading or playing games. Cheri provided multiple recommendations for food and things to do prior to our arrival! Would happily stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to visit Mendocino.

When I’m traveling solo, this is my go-to accommodation in Mendocino (a couple would love it too). The location is perfect for walking the village. The space is thoughtfully laid out, perfect. The bed is comfortable & I appreciate the variety of pillows. I cook every night in the kitchen and am thankful for the washer/dryer. The hosts make me feel welcome & appreciated and are always responsive. I don’t mind if you book it but I do think of it as my place! Can’t wait to return.

My mother and I LOVED staying here. The location is ideal- scenic and close to everything (shops, market, restaurants, walkway to scenic views). Since it gets very dark at night, we were glad our place was only a short drive away. The house is exactly as pictured and described (no surprises, in a good way) and the electric fireplace kept us cozy when it was cold outside. I would highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again!

This property is a hidden gem! Location, location, location! It was well kept, clean, and super cute! The town itself is quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable with our surroundings. Views are absolutely stunning and beautiful! The pictures don’t do enough justice. Having the mountains/ocean views right in front of the studio makes it all worth while. Highly recommend this property and I do hope to be back!! Thank you again!!!

This was our first time in Mendocino. My wife and I attended our nephew's destination wedding there and traveled from the Atlantic coast. We could not have been happier with this adorable little cottage. It boasts an unobstructed picturesque view of the bay and the Pacific over the cliffs. The cottage is very comfortable and is stocked with everything one needs including coffee. Communication with host Cheri was seamless and we even got a chance to meet her in person. This could not possibly have been a nicer stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
