A lovely place for a getaway few days for me and my Jack Russell, who greatly enjoyed exploring the spacious grounds.
We also enjoyed a couple of trips to nearby Carsington Water.
I've already booked again for next year.

Good venue, some challenging lanes to drive down. Great for 2 adults and 2 kids max. No amenities very close by but ideal for visiting Derbyshire. Excellent owner, really pleasant and helpful

We had the best time. We loved the location, the peace, quiet and wildlife. Great communication from the owner and a clean, cosy cottage.

Read about its history in the living room ! A perfect base to explore the beautiful scenery in Derbyshires Peak District.

We were a party of two adults and two children, aged 4 and 6. We found the Garden House to be a perfect little hideaway. In a quiet area, with outside space for the kids to run around. It's small but extremely cosy and absolutely fine for a base to get out and about in the local area.
It has everything you need and was lovely to have the little extras you don't always get when renting, like soap, washing up liquid, loo roll etc.
