My husband & I decided to have a small wedding with just immediate family & friends. Anita allowed us to have our special day in her rental. From the day we booked to the whole rest of our stay, Anita was super supportive & welcoming. Our families had traveled from India & CA. They all absolutely loved the rental. There are some minor wears that need fixing, but nothing that prevented us from having a great stay. The house was beautiful & accessible for all. We booked the space to host our two ceremonies (Hindu & Western) & the Hindu rituals leading to the wedding. All went well, the only issue we had were the neighbors on both sides made it clear they do not appreciate the host renting the property. I am not sure what has happened in the past, but it became aware there has been tensions between them. Unfortunately, we were just the group one of them decided to blow steam on for no reason. The neighbor on the right side, decided to act out when we were finishing our first ceremony on Friday afternoon. We think he was under the influence of something. He just started yelling things about this neighborhood not being a church and then accusing us of having car races at night. Nothing he said made sense & to add injury he decided to say racists things to our guests. Then he tried charging towards a guest in attempt to hit her. My friend's fiancé blocked him. We were all shocked. Our friends & family watching virtually saw the whole confrontation. We were all ready to call the police on him. We have it recorded in case we decide to file a suit, but for the most part we decided to leave it at that for we did not want to ruin our day. Anita was there to help during this ordeal & made sure to check-in throughout the day. It all happened so fast & our guests were trying to keep calm. We were all able to continue the rest of our day, but made sure to keep an eye on the neighbor & walked our guests to their cars for safety. We ended all our festivities by 9:00pm just in accordance to Anita's rule. The neighborhood is a quiet one with lots of parking nearby as long as guest do not park near the neighbors parking areas. The neighborhood is 15 minutes from Downtown and the airport. Clairemont Mesa Blvd is close by with multiple shops, restaurants, & freeway entrances. It was super convenient. Our experience was great- despite the neighbor. We're truly thankful for Anita for all of her help and allowing us to have our wedding! She's a great host!

It was a10-20 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go--the Zoo, La Jolla Shores Beach, the sea lions, Old Town and the Mormon Battalion Visitor's Center, Sunset Cliffs and Balboa park. We had parents, children and spouses and grandchildren. It was great to have two master bedrooms and a real crib as well as a nice high chair. Anita went out of her way to make our stay comfortable!

I had a great stay at the property! The home was very clean and just as described. I had a small group for a dinner after my wedding, and enjoyed the backyard the day after for some sun time and corn hole. Host was timely and accommodating. Would recommend, and will book another stay in the future.

The property owner Anita was extremely disrespectful by entering the property through the backyard yelling and being disrespectful to me and others in our party. She threatened to make us all Leave simply because we had extra guests over that came from a nearby hotel . She also banged on the front door and yelled at my niece to stop the party. She assumed those guests were going to stay over and gave them 10 minutes to leave and she waited like a stalker outside until they left. We did overlook the quiet time and she messaged me at like 9 pm or so but I did not see her messages which is what made her come to the property . However , that doesn’t not give her any right to come in yelling and assuming things. In addition, she had a spa service person come a Day after our arrival and they did not notify me. The spa should have been drained before we arrived as the water was mirky and used by a previous group. The bathrooms had used hand soap bottles instead of new ones and the shower near kitchen had a curtain with shower clips that were rusty. There was one iron and did not work very well amd looked maybe 10 years old . The fire alarm kept smoke detectors kept beeping and went off 2 times. One of the 2 bins of trash was already filled when we arrived . The spa was not hot , just warm . Finally, the fried has broken compartments amd it did not cool very well.

Excellent property to stay for a group of 8 or more. Very gracious and friendly host. Thank you Anita! Property looks as good as in the pictures advertised. Safe neighborhood with plenty of street parking. Party lights and sunsets were gorgeous. Pool table, Backyard and hot tub were the highlights. Will definitely recommend this property if you want to have a great family get-together.

We were 15 mins away from everything we wanted to do. The house provided ample space for all our activities. Anita, the host, was a pleasure to work with from 5 months ago when we started planning until the minute we left. We wish her and her family all the success! Thank you! Rowe Family

House was great for our multi-family vacation. Plenty of bedroom space! Location was ideal. Close to attractions and even grocery shopping.... Owner was highly responsive, even though we had very few issues during our stay.

We used this home for our trip to San Diego. It was really close to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, a little further to Legoland. We had eleven adults and seven children in our party. There were rooms for everyone. The house was clean and very roomy. My grandchildren loved running around in the backyard area, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. I was impressed that there was soap and shampoo in all of the bathrooms because many of these types of properties do not provide them. We had trouble with the door code when we first got there, but a call settled that quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If you have a large party as we did, this home will be great and is close to many of the attractions in San Diego.

This was an amazing house to stay in with a large group of people. The open layout was great so you could cook and talk with your company. The best part was the backyard! We enjoyed hanging out on the patio and even did some yoga on the turf.

We spent June 6,7,8 with our family of 19- 3 generations- grandparents, 4 adult children/spouses and 9 grandchildren ages 18 months to 13 years. We like to rent a house that accommodates all of us under one roof, so adults can visit together at night while the kids are sleeping, we can cook together, cousins can play together, etc. This house is well situated- we visited Legoland, La Jolla Shores, Mormon Batallion Monument downtown San Diego and San Diego zoo. The San Diego airport is close, several grocery stores are nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is lots of street parking, and room for 2 cars directly outside the front door. The front of the house is plain but the inside is very nicely decorated, as the photos show. The fenced backyard is private- it backs up to a canyon, so there are no neighbors behind to be bothered by children’s noises at 7 a.m., or adults talking into the night on the back patio. The backyard flows directly from the central living room, and acts as a separate playroom/craft area for the kids. It has artificial turf so doesn’t track in dirt. The hot tub outside holds 4 adults. We had seating for everyone to eat inside, gather in the living room or eat outside. There are TVs in most bedrooms and public areas, plus the pool table on the upstairs landing, and assorted board games. The owners are extremely attentive and live in the neighborhood. Anita replies to emails and texts within the hour. Even her kids sent over fun toys for my grandkids to play with. All my requests- pack and plays, inflatable mattresses, high chair, even taking our family photo, were cheerfully accommodated. Four cooks easily maneuvered at the same time in the kitchen. There were ample pots, pans, knives, etc. The massive island acts as a buffet table and assembling area. The mattresses were newer, linens and towels were nice quality. The bedrooms with bunkbeds were great for kids. The upstairs master suite has a large walk-in closet that we used for a baby bedroom. There is a new full sized washer/dryer downstairs. We had plenty of hot water for lots of showers. My son said it was a 10 out of 10 reunion, and my 11 year old picky granddaughter said she liked the house, so I was pleased at the successful conclusion of our time together- and the house makes a big difference. We recommend it as an affordable and enjoyable alternative to motels for your family reunion.

My siblings and I with our spouses took our mother on a trip for her 90 birthday. This house was perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. We loved the big family room and kitchen. We could all be together for meals and play games and talk. There are also nice bedrooms enough for each couple to have privacy. Because of rainy weather we couldn't enjoy the beautiful backyard as much as we would have liked to, but it also provides a nice place to gather. The location of this property was ideal. We were able to get to the airport, the beach, downtown and wild animal park easily. Anita was so helpful when we had a need. I highly recommend this property - we felt safe and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood.
