We had a great stay. Dale was very attentive. We stayed in his lower level. One of the bedrooms in the listing has a separate entrance. We didn’t mind because our kids are older. The beach is beautiful and just a few steps away. We would stay again!

The house & location was absolutely amazing! There were beach chairs and umbrellas for us to use. A plus for me was the well stocked kitchen! The porch was pure perfection. Thank you Dale for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. Felt so safe and walking distance to Eclipse, super high end restaurant with amazing food including breakfast. Dale was a great host and a gentleman.

Such an ideal, well maintained apartment! Outside has a shower, place to store surf boards, grassy area for a lawn game, and patio seating shaded with lovely landscaping. The indoor temp was quite comfortable (temperature) the kitchen area has several unique small appliances and the living area has durable furniture. Bedrooms have firm mattresses, shelves, storage, and AC units. The apt is literally steps from the ocean and perfect for an evening walk. Isabela seemed to be a quaint, quiet area to visit while we were there. I appreciated Dale's friendliness and respect for our questions.

Dale was incredibly gracious, very helpful, attentive and accommodating. Wonderful location, beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood. Incredibly relaxing we could not have asked for more. We can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this stay for people that want to experience a laid back authentic experience in Puerto Rico.

Places are very hard to find in Puerto Rico but owner sends the location and makes it super easy to find. Beautiful place to stay and beach is easy to get to. If we ever visit Isabela again we will stay at this house again.

I really enjoyed staying at this property! In Isabela for a wedding, this property was closer to the wedding venue than I’d thought, so the location for me was great. The property itself was within a very short walking distance to the beach, and was very clean. I especially loved the outdoor space which had plenty of chairs and a grass area. Overall I loved staying here and would absolutely consider staying again if ever back in Isabela.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Everything was exactly as described. Dale was an awesome host! We look forward to visiting again!

The place is set up with guests in mind. We enjoyed every minute there. Hope to go back!!!

A great place close to it all, but far enough away from the crowds. Surf spots were close by. Beach at Shacks is lovely. Great snorkeling. Dale has everything set up for your convenience and enjoyment. He is super friendly and helpful. We will be back! Paradise!

This is an excellent choice for Shacks Beach lodging. Dale is a wonderful host and keeps the property tidy and well organized. The listing is not exaggerating when they say steps front the beach. It’s literally about 20 feet away. Great property and highly recommended!

Dale really knows how to take care of the place. Very clean, everything in perfect condition, walking distance to the beach, and very close to restaurants and supermarkets. Surrounding areas are perfect for a fully enjoyable beach vacation and experience. I recommend it 100%.

It was such a nice place to stay!! Beach is walking distance and a lot of restaurants in the area.

Dale's place is very well-kept and attractive, and he's an attentive and friendly host. The bedroom is small but has a very comfortable queen bed, good storage space, and air conditioning. It could use a bedside night light. The kitchen is well appointed and the dinnerware and utensil sets are all in great shape and intact. The living area is comfortable, with overhead fans and good lighting. There's a fresh cross-breeze, although an air conditioner would be a great upgrade for those especially hot summer days and nights. We stayed on the first floor, where there's a strip of grass in the back, a barbecue, and a shower right next to the kitchen entrance. We had a great stay and would visit again.

You will not regret renting @ Sol a Sol. The owner is an amazing guy. He is very friendly and helpful. We have been to PR many times and there is no better place than shacks beach.

Well equiped & beautifully maintained property. You can tell that Dale has put a great deal of work into the place & takes pride in providing a safe, clean, & comfortable, home away from home for all of his guests.

We stayed in the bottom floor unit at Dales beach house for a short 2 days after coming from our wedding at Villa Montana. Dale made us feel right at home and even helped us with our luggage since we were close distance. The apartment is nice and well kept with an enormous lounging sofa and full kitchen. There are chairs at the outside deck are great for sipping morning coffee. The beach is a short 1min walk down a flight of stairs. We took a walk to Jobos beach and it was lovely. Took us about 25min but we were taking it slow. Dale also offered to lend snorkel equipment and give suggestions on places to go- we would have loved to but didn’t have time due to family festivities. We would definitely like go back sometime to explore some more!!

This rental was amazing! The beach is perfect for sunbathing and snorkeling, and some decent waves as well. If you're a surfer this is an excellent option. Just a few minutes from Jobos, and about 15 minutes from Wilderness. So central, you really can't go wrong. Also, it's quite close to my favorite place on the island, Arepas To Go. Extremely delicious Venezuelan served from a food truck by the highway - but I digress. Back to this rental. The host, Dale, is a really cool and accommodating guy. He is the man. Seriously, he's so cool. When my fellow traveler said I had a man crush I insisted that I absolutely did. His place is immaculate, beds were comfortable, and you're just a few steps from the beach. Second floor has a view of the beach from the balcony. Great for evening cocktails. Only slight downside was the low supply of pans and utensils in the kitchen, but I didn't really care. Dale you the man!

First time staying at this property. Couldn't have been a better experience. Clean, well-appointed, modern. Great location, beautiful property and Dale is a pleasure to work with. Returning next month!

The property is fantastic with every amenity that one would have at home. Power and water are reliable as is wifi. It is secure and in a secluded part of Isabella away from traffic. The beach is pristine and great for snorkeling and kiteboarding. If you're surfing, this is the ideal location to stay because you're near middles, Jobos, surfers, and wilderness. The host, Dale, is really knowledgeable about the area and watersports in general. I've been to the area several times and this was my favorite location. Fyi, Verizon doesn't work in PR still, but AT&T has 4g for some reason.
