Great location for girls weekend! Close to bike path, beaches. Private back yard with fire pit and deck. House was exceptionally clean with plenty of sleeping choices and bathrooms! Large kitchen and dining area for gathering and cooking together. Well stocked with equipment. Throughly enjoyed the Happy Place and highly recommend for retreats and reunions.

We loved our stay at The Happy Place! It was our first time to the cape and we could not have chosen a better location. Falmouth and Woods Hole are beautiful and the neighborhood is the perfect Cape Cod vibe. We got married on Nobska Beach and we loved coming back to the house every evening during our stay. Perfect for families and we can't wait to come back at the height of summer and enjoy the large yard and deck.

The property was just as described and was a wonderful place to have a family vacation. Beautifully set up and decorated, homey space and open floor plan to children to play. The backyard proved to be a good hang around spot & the front yard had space for the kids to run around and play tag. Overall would book this house again if we ever decided to go to Falmouth again.

Overall it was great. OTOH there was no water or spares in the water machine when we got there, broiler didn’t work and the lights in the range hood didn’t work. The first morning we discovered the coffee carafe was broken, not sure if we did it, but we replaced it for $17.

We just returned from an amazing week at 'The Happy Place". The pictures and description of the house were exact. Beautiful home with everything you could possibly need located in a great location. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Very satisfied with our stay. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had plenty of space and had a great time. Perfect place to hang out with a group of friends after a round of golf or a visit to the beach.

We really enjoyed the location of the house with a short walk to a nice beach, the cleanliness, the two comfortable gathering areas, and the comfortable beds. We were gathering for Thanksgiving with eleven people, and appreciated the availability of a turkey roasting pan and a baster! Unfortunately, we had two frustrating maintenance issues while we were there and the communication with the management company was not great and affected our ability to relax. The biggest issue was that the dishwasher was broken. I had read in a previous review from a few months ago that the dishwasher was not working, so I wrote to the company specifically to ask if the dishwasher was now working. I was assured that the problem had been addressed. Apparently the local team of the management company was aware that the dishwasher was currently not working and asked customer service to let us know ahead of time but we received no such notification. It was a bummer not to have a dishwasher at Thanksgiving with eleven people, and an even bigger bummer not to know it was broken until after we tried repeatedly to figure it out! They agreed to a small refund to compensate for the broken dishwasher, but honestly we wouldn't have booked a place for Thanksgiving for eleven with no dishwasher.

Overall the house and location were great. There were some maintenance issues we brought to the management company attention and nothing was done. The one tub in the house would not drain and this was needed to bathe a toddler. The dishwasher did not work which was somewhat of an inconvenience as there was no drying rack and not enough dish towels.

Perfect for our family and rotating friends with young children. Everything we needed and a 7-minute walk to the beach. Thank you!

Perfect spot for a family. Property was spotless! We enjoyed the second living room downstairs very much! House was well maintained and stocked with basic needs. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful home! Very clean!

Disappointing to have glitches checking in. Most concerning was no power in most of kitchen. Our group had to resolve, circuit breakers were tripped. No power to stove, microwave etc could easily have been identified as a final check before our arrival. Also, house was unlocked and trouble with lockbox that was not easily resolved.

This house is wonderful ! Roomy , beautifully decorated , kitchen has all needed pans , utensils etc . Great dining area . This house had enough beds for our group of 10 to have there own beds! Outside deck looked nice but weather did not allow us to use it . My only negative comment is not enough toilet paper , paper towels , dishwasher tabs. Fortunately I had read this in other reviews and brought additional supplies.

Great place for large family. Only downside was running out of toilet paper in all 3 bathrooms within a day. I fortunately was prepared after reading that in a previous review

We loved the location of this home. The home is beautifully maintained and the floor plan was perfect for our large family.

Came here for four days with two families. Four adults and six children. Easily could’ve had even more in the house. It was very spacious a super easy walk or drive to a gorgeous beach and a 10 minute drive to Main Street in Falmouth. While there are some quirks that other reviewers have mentioned (limited amenities, chilly AC, etc) nothing that would make it so I wouldn’t return again.

The house was lovely and as described. The cleanliness was so so. Bathrooms clean, kitchen some trash left behind and areas were sandy and not that clean. What bothered us most was that supplies were very skimpy. Very little toilet paper(and there were only 5 of us), no trash can liners for kitchen, no shampoo, and only 2 bathrooms had soap. No soap in kitchen. We spoke with vacasa and emailed multiple times. Nobody followed up or called us. Otherwise very sweet house in very nice location.

Stayed down for a weekend and went out to the vineyard for a day. House was awesome and was perfect location

We all enjoyed staying here! Spacious and updated appliances. Washer/dryer didn’t work well, not able to check in on time (over an hour later than stated), towels that shed lint and lots of bugs (found ants, spiders, etc- mostly in closets and places they didn’t clean). We really enjoyed the big tables, updated bathrooms, comfortable beds. The cousins loved staying together in the bunk bed room - a definite highlight. Close to a very nice little beach and lots of restaurants/takeout to choose from.

House was very nice and clean. Although a broken chair and lamp in living room. Outside furniture was dirty and the grille was unusable. Although the property manager Megan came out and tried to clean the furniture and went out and bought a grille. If it wasn’t for her, it would have been not good. She tried her best.

Great home to spend quality time with friends!

Overall the place was wonderful, however, there were certain areas that were lacking. The beds were all made with sheets but no blankets or comforters, we needed to search to find them. Most of the beds were very comfortable. Grill was not working, ,there were no pot holders and only 1 kitchen towel. Short walk to the beach and a nice deck and fire pit in the backyard. Food (cheese and lettuce) left in the fridge from previous renters. No ice machine or ice cube trays so just be prepared if you like ice.

This home was exactly what we needed! Everything was clean and offered so much to us. Adults and kids had a blast!

My mother, aunt, sister, cousins, nieces & I got together for a COVID friendly girls only weekend. The home was extremely clean and had way more space then we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed everything the house provided. We would love to return again in the future with our families.

we are three families together. the kids were so excited about sleeping in one bedroom with all the bunk beds. The house has a lot of towels, beach toys, and utensils. it is spacious, well decorated and clean. The only issue was the dryer is not dry enough even I put it in extra dry mode. the beach close by is woodneck beach. It is such a beautiful beach, when it is low tide, it is clean, shallow, warm and full of little fish and shinning shells. you can walk to the beach to look at sunset. great experience and we all enjoyed it. the last suggestion is to hook up the water dispenser in the dinning room would be really helpful.

The house is beautiful. The lower rating is due to the property manager. Daniel called twice to ask the purpose of our stay. And informed us, if anything were to happen at the home, he would not help us because we were from out of town. It was very unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome. After this review is submitted, there are no opportunities to reply to any comments from Vacasa.
