Beautiful house with spectacular views of Beacons beach. Sadly, the stairs to the beach are under repair so there is no immediate beach/ surf action .
However the house is perfect- with views and amenities to enjoy sunrise to sunset.
Plenty of room for several couples or a large family .
The town is quaint and friendly- lots of cute shops and restaurants to walk to !
Feel like a local !!

Management was quick to respond to issues my car got broken into outside of property dirty spider webs ect. Parking hard to find garage keypad broken view was great.

This house was great for our Spring Break trip to Encinitas with several families. We love this community, it’s laid back vibe and cute restaurants. A short drive to San Diego or Legoland. Being right on the beach gave us amazing sunsets and views of dolphins from the deck and living room.
The check in and check our processes were the easiest I’ve ever experienced with a rental. We weren’t required to spend our final morning cleaning and it allowed our group of families a relaxing end to a wonderful week.
Given the location and size I imagine this place is booked solid, which makes the few downsides understandable, if unfortunate. The gas fireplace didn’t function. The hot tub on the roof was murky and needs better maintenance. We had a little drizzle during the week and water dripped in from a few air vents. I always got a super quick response from the management company and they sent folks out, but some of that stuff needs actual repair that wasn’t possible during our stay.
Would definitely recommend this property and this management company.

A week of family, feasting, beaching and amazing sunsets.Three generations finally able to be together after almost 3 years of canceled gatherings. The house and the companion property downstairs provided a great set-up for kids and adults.

This is advertised to have AC. Of the five bedrooms, none have any effective AC whether it was 75 or 85 outside. We booked here specifically because the represented AC on site.
Additionally, there were ants discovered in the living room, bedrooms and even in the bedding. This place is unacceptable and uninhabitable.
The heat during the day and the ant issue make the home unenjoyable. Not even close to what we expected and paid for.
Traveling with children needing a reprieve from the beach heat - this is not the place.
The customer service of this company is absolutely awful. Vacation ruined thanks to this place and beachfront only.

Great Weekend Getaway
We had a great time at this property. The location is amazing with lots of great restaurants within walking distance and an amazing view of the ocean. It's awesome to watch the surfers in the morning, and we even saw dolphins. The property management was responsive whenever we reached out.

Spring Break
We really didn't want to leave. They say in real estate that it comes down to 3 things...location, location, and location. This property has that in spades. You can forgive a lot when you can sleep to the sounds of the ocean, watch sea life at play during sun up, enjoy the prolific beauty of a Pacific Ocean sunset and lose yourself in a casual stroll down the beach for miles as you contemplate the meaning of it all.
From this house I took my family to see the pleasures of San Diego, my kids kayaked in La Jolla, we embraced the beauty of the ocean at Coronado and Moonlight Beach, we hosted amazing family dinners, my son and I took the women we love on dates to remember and I walked with my wife and her parents along the beach - and in the joy of the moment - I was able to thank them again for giving me permission to marry their daughter 22 years ago. And with all that - we watched the sunset each night with the locals and stargazed in the evening on a great rooftop patio.
The landlord was easy to work with. There were a few small hiccups but they responded quickly and remediated them. The hot tub is really built only for two. But four can fit (and with cocktails). If I were living there permanently there is a list of changes I would make, but we survived a week just fine. The fireplace was out of service but we really didn't need it. The dishwasher was possessed and they tried to fix it - we managed. Fuses were a thing - they fixed it right away. The landlord was always a quick text away and very responsive. The garage was great, but our Chevy Suburban didn't fit. We parked on the street with no trouble in front of the garage. There is aging to the property from being on the oceanfront as there is in a lot of similar properties around the world. Again, it was hard to beat 3 floors 500 ft from the ocean. The master shower open to the ocean was a treat we'll never forget.
There was a lot of warnings about noise ordinances. We were a family with friends and not a crazy crowd. We found the locals very welcoming, neighborly and a joy to be with.

House was equipped well. Plenty of towels and supplies provided. A bit of wear from the elements, but overall a very nice experience.

Beautiful views
The property was beautiful. Property management company was slow on resolving issues. In the description of the place, there’s a gas fireplace in the living room. It was not working. We requested help. By the third day we were told there were parts on order.
The thermostat was messed up. We would set the heat to 72, but it would not stay at that temperature. In the mornings it would drop down to 61 or 62 inside. They said it was on a timer, and we needed to reset it every four hours. On the last day when they came in to “fix” it, the temperature in the house still dropped down to 61 over night.
There were minor issues with the house..,broken window seal and water coming in along the track in the living room. Broken blinds above the sink. Water dispenser in refrigerator only worked 50% of the time.

Fantastic location, very poor management
Celebrated my husband's 50th, friends/family from all over. Front gate door pad didn't work so the first day people were locked out. Fireplace didn't work, it was December before Christmas, so was a huge bummer. Check out was 10AM sharp Sunday, someone was at the door ready to clean at 9:55AM. Oh and the upstairs bedroom had a ceiling leak that puddled water in the corner of the room. If all you care about is an incredible ocean view and location, this is the place for you.

Family vacation in 2022
We made family memories and this property met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, great location being next to the beach access and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. There were several options for the family to be together or to spread out in different areas. Superb views of the ocean! The decks and rooftop areas were our favorites. The glass doors opened to the outdoors and gave us the feel of one big space to enjoy! The management was responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this space and would consider another visit!

Great location/views but needs work...
The good: Location is great, the views are incredible and the layout of the home is great for a group.
The bad: All of this was brought up to the property management team during our stay and we had communication after. They stopped by to fix some of the items and we asked them to not do the extensive items so we could try to enjoy our stay without people coming in and out.
We were given the wrong codes to enter the home via the app and guests had to wait outside until we finally got a text back
One bathroom smelled like sewage, so we opened the window and left it open. We stayed away from this bathroom.
One bathroom leaked water through the ceiling all over the bedroom below. Property management company sent someone out, they told us it was fixed via text…it was not as it leaked again…we then did not use that bathroom for the rest of the trip since we didn’t want to deal with a wall being opened in our bedroom to fix the pipe.
Freezer does not make ice, so property management company had to bring us an ice maker
Dishwasher is missing 2 wheels, so it continually falls off track.
Kitchen dining table furniture is extremely wobbly and needs to be tightened. Same goes with the blue chairs in the great room.
We were told directly that there were coffee filters…there were not
We could not operate the fireplace while in the home
This could be an amazing rental and we hope that the owners and property management company will put in the time to bring things up to where they should be for the price. The refund we were offered for all of the above problems was, unfortunately, a slap in the face being about 1% of our total.

Look no further. If you want a special house waterfront, this is it. Our second time renting it and had a blast. Million dollar views of Beacon’s Beach. A swell was in so my son, who is an exceptional surfer, had a blast. The sets were some of the best he has ever surfed, and he has surfed all over the world including Cloud Break, Fiji. We spent most of our time on the outside terraces enjoying the 360 degree views. Magical! Hot tub was fun. Fire pit at night. Interior was clean and nice. Great bed in Master. And yes, we will rent it again. I have yet to see a better rental in this area. Thanks OCEANFRONT RENTALS!

March 2017 Stay
There are not enough words to describe this wonderful property. A million dollars view, wonderful terraces, fire pits, hot tub, and a short stroll to coffee shops, bars and restaurants. Overlooking Beacon Surf break, the location couldn't be better. I travel a lot and always try to find a special place to stay. I hit a homer with this property. Keep the lights on, cause we will be back.

Relaxing getaway
Beautiful views from a great property. Open the balcony doors and let in that San Diego breeze and soothing ocean sounds. The property had everything we needed for our trip. A simple check-in and check out made everything easy.
Only couple minor issues, the glass ceiling in the dining area makes it hard to sit and eat lunch at the table on a hot day as the sun glares down on you. And there were bugs (dead and alive) inside and outside on the stairwell. Nothing in the bedrooms so not much to be concerned about but cleaners should do a better job of removing.
Easy walk down to the beach for surfing, you can walk down over to the family areas as well, bit of a walk or very short drive. We hope to come back and stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect beach experience
This property had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for 6 adults and 4 small children. The house felt clean, safe for the kids, well stocked with everything we needed and more. It was conveniently located - even when you weren't sitting in the sand you always felt like you were at the beach. The views from almost every space were stunning. It was a comfortable and luxurious experience that we'll always cherish.

Favorite VRBO yet!
We love this property. I rented it as a surprise for my husband’s 50th. The view is incredible and location couldn’t be better in Encinitas. There were a couple minor issues like the fireplace wasn’t working and ants in kitchen. However, they addressed our issues immediately and communication was excellent. I would definitely stay there against

Great place!
This house is laid out very well for family get-togethers. As long as you don't have issues with stairs, it's great. Doors open up for the delightful breezes.
There's beach access right next door, and we could spend all day watching the surfers. We were able to walk to our choice of restaurants.
Word of advice: The garage is SO narrow. We barely managed to get our minivan into it.

Amazing views and plenty to do in the neighborhood
Fantastic views, well equipped property in fun neighborhood. Lively with surfers and walkers during the day, but quiet at night. Lots to do in walking distance. Great for a large family group. Appreciated the small details — like having enough dish soap and paper towels to last the entire stay. Did not need any special assistance during stay.

Great location
Good times here.
Pros
It was larger than I thought it would be. Five bedrooms and a parking spot. Probably invite another family with us next time. Great view of the ocean that was worth the price of admission. Good location at a beach that I didn’t think was overly crowded. Only a five minute walk down the side of the hill to the beach. Great waves that my kids loved boogie boarding. A ton of surfers. Also some good restaurants near by that we did DoorDash. A/C seemed to work ok. Lots of driers. Two refrigerators. Hot tub. No carpet which was nice. Multiple balconies to see wonderful sunsets.
The cons were only a few.
Internet speed was slow. I think this is par for the course at any of these beach houses. Someone parked infront of the garage door for a few hours. Contacted management and they called a towing company. I think after a few hours the person left before any towing company came. Pretty early checkout time at 10am. The trade off is that they don’t make you clean up anything either.
All in all a good stay. Probably do it again.

Home has a very airy, open layout and a perfect blend of beach and modern. Multiple decks to hang out and watch the ocean. Short walk to shops and restaurants. Delightful little beach condo
Enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Location was perfect. Could walk right down to a secluded little surfers beach then walk right back up, shower off the sand and enjoy the rest of the day on the rooftop patio. Would stay again. Cons: could use some updating. Oven functions but is not the greatest. Several Electrical outlets did not work. Room upstairs with the king and daybed gets very hot. However, these are just small things considering the view and closeness to the beach.

Wonderful views, beautiful home, a few repairs needed
The home was beautiful, great decor/ furnishings and the best part is the view! The place was clean and the owner was very easy to work with. Only dislike was the need for some repairs, such as a leak from the ceiling into one of the bedrooms.
