Beautiful homes and setting right on the water in Half Moon Bay. Really well built home, and equipped with eveythibg you need to cook inside or at the outdoor kitchen! The snorkeling right in front of the home was great, day and night. We enjoyed our whole trip, and the home really made for a great location to make family memories. We would recommend both homes to anyone looking for a less touristy option for their stay. It’s about 30 mins to “town”, which we enjoyed to be away from the crowds more. There are a couple of small convenience stores within ten minutes of the home for small things you need, and a larger supermarket about 25 mins away. Keep in mind most grocery stores are closed on Sundays, that was a surprise to us. Would definitely return!

This was the 7th time we had visited Grand Cayman, as a retirement gift, cruises and week long stays. Our first to stay in a more remote, quiet, serene part of the island. We traveled with 2 other couples and chose to stay away from the tourist crowded beaches and opt for less inhabited with no traffic or noise! Crescent Beach at Half Moon Bay was our piece of "absolute paradise"!!! We were amazed at all the amenities, space, atmosphere, tranquility and amazing views. The owners of the property live next door and were so willing to share their time if we had questions. It was almost like we were visiting friends! They were friendly, caring and so gracious. This home was positively spotless, luxuriously comfortable, spacious, well equipped with anything imaginable in the kitchen, and so kind to give us a welcome gift upon arrival. The views from inside made you "want" to stay outside! It was just a stones throw from the back porch to the water. The pool was inviting and used often as was the patio furniture And OMG, the outdoor kitchen was amazing! Which was attached to the movie theatre and ping pong/pool table. We did not want to leave after our fabulous week at Crescent Beach. We will be back and may share with our family next time. This home will not disappoint you and your family/friends if you visit. And if you go, tell Bugsy, their very friendly dog hello!!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sand at Half Moon Bay for 5 nights and were delighted with our choice of lodging. As frequent visitors to Cayman, we typically opt for different accommodations each time we visit. However, we may have to make an exception and return to Crescent Beach in the future. The condo was phenomenal! The living room and bedrooms provided breathtaking views of the ocean, beach, and wildlife. We were pleasantly surprised to see a variety of marine life, including various fish, eels, lizards, crabs, birds, and an Agouti as well as beautiful scenery. We were fortunate enough to witness 5 baby turtles being released into the ocean at night. Paul really knows what he's doing with these little guys. We were happy to witness their departure! The condo had everything we needed and more, catering to all age groups. There were various activities such as ping-pong, pool, movies, a swimming pool with accessories, and games. We had never stayed on SMB or the west side of the island before, as we tend to avoid crowds. We enjoyed our easy drive to Georgetown to shop for duty-free items (such as Yurman, Coin, and others), dine at restaurants, and visit beaches. There were several restaurants within close proximity to the condo, including the newly opened Blue Rock. We already miss Crescent Beach and can confidently say that it is one of the best accommodations on Grand Cayman! Paul was an exceptional host, and we look forward to returning in the future.

The hosts live next door and were very welcoming, responsive and helpful. The condo is immaculate! We got to see baby turtles head into the ocean for the first time! Kids loved the pool. Due to the weather, the beach wasn’t great, but good options were a short drive away.

Crescent Beach was a wonderful place to stay. The check in process easy. Paul and Faye Anne met us and gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked. The mornings were beautiful, just sitting and looking out over the cove. So peaceful. We are very happy with our decision to stay at Crescent Beach and would love to return.

This property was just perfect for our stay in Grand Cayman! Located far away from the busy Georgetown area, this is the place to be! All the rooms were super comfortable and the house is so spacious! The pool was wonderful and the movie theater is a great perk although we did not use it. Plenty of stores and local restaurants within a few minutes. When you drive further east go to the Eastern Star bar and restaurant, which is located right by the gas station. What an awesome place! Our hard-working host lives next door and was friendly and informative, thanks Paul! Everyone in our group loved my pick of Sand and Sky!

Our family had an absolutely amazing time staying at Half Moon Bay during our week long trip to Grand Cayman. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts with Paul and Faye Ann. They were available for anything we needed. We had lots of space to spread out and plenty of places to relax when we weren’t off exploring the island. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the patio each morning watching the waves and feeding the cute rock lizards. Our girls loved the pool, ping pong table and movie room. We hope to travel back to Grand Cayman in the future and would love to stay here again. Thanks to Paul and Faye Ann for their wonderful hospitality!

This gorgeous duplex/apartment is set on a bay you share only with the other renters and owners. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the patio with only curly (the tame lizard) for company. The owner is next door if needed & a great source of information. Two excellent restaurants are within a 10 minute drive. SMB & Rum Point are about 30 minutes away if you desire more choices. Overall a perfect place to enjoy the Caribbean without the crowds!

As soon as we arrived at our destination, appropriately named, Sand, (in a few steps you are on it!) we were pleasantly greeted by our host, Paul, who gave us a tour and all of the information about the property and it's numerous amenities and who was always available for any questions. The property is on a secluded beach and we enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking there. It is very peaceful there. The sea view from the living space is beautiful and we loved our morning coffee and sunset dinners on the patio. We had fun at the pool which also has a fantastic view of the sea. We were entertained by friendly geckos every day and Paul was kind enough to give us an opportunity to feed them. Sand has every comfort of home (lots of space and comfortable beds) and much more! There are stores, restaurants and activities all nearby. We loved every minute there and hope to return! A true paradise with an amazing host!

The property is absolutely stunning! Waking up to the sunrise and going to bed with the sunset was amazing every day. We enjoyed it so much and definitely will be back to this location. Paul and Fay Anne were the best hosts we have met. They were extremely accommodating and super nice. They gave us all a tour of the property, let us know about traffic, where to visit and when. Paul even helped us load up and gave us a lift back to the airport on the last day of our stay. My boys, 9 and 10, were thrilled with the pool and even playing in the ocean, even with the rocks, right off the back porch. We were there for 7 days and had a wedding there on the island and it was the perfect setting for a wedding and honeymoon. Amazing location, beautiful views, extremely relaxing and Curly was the best pet gecko ever. Paul and Fay Anne made it the best vacation we have had for the adults and the kids alike. Five Stars all around from this trip!

Paul and Fay Anne are lovely hosts! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Sand especially for families with young children (ours are 1 & 4). It has all the comforts of home. The beach is rocky but we loved looking for shells and little sea creatures. The pool a perfect size and has an awesome ocean view. The peaceful sound of the waves helped us to relax and appreciate this beautiful island. We would definitely stay here again and again!

Covid forced my family to wait 3 years before being allowed to visit "Sand". Paul and Faye Anne are absolutely amazing hosts and have everything you'd ever need for an amazing family vacation. "Sand" sits on a quiet bay that provided some of the best snorkeling around. My kids absolutely loved the wildlife...especially the ring-tailed lizards and spent hours in the pool. I couldn't recommend a destination or host any higher!

The apartment was like having our own amazing beach house in a quieter area, away from the crowded tourist traps! We could snorkel right outside our door in the incredible reefs! The owners literally thought of everything to make it homey & comfortable & they are wonderful people! We can’t wait to return!

Our stay was undoubtedly one of the best experiences I've had through a site like VRBO. Our trip to Grand Cayman was fantastic and that heavily influenced by our stay with Paul and Fay Anne. I give it a 5 star across the board as there simply isn't anything negative to put. Their hospitality, the check in progress, the location itself were all great. Every item that we could have needed was provided. We'll be sure to keep this property at the top of our list for our inevitable return!

Not only was this property exactly as advertised with everything that we needed for our stay, but the hosts went above and beyond! They were never instrusive, but they were readily available to help with any need that arose. We had a late flight in and Paul was litterally standing out in the road to flag us down so that we didn't miss our turn. He had volunteered to pick up a grocery order for us in town and had it stocked in the fridge upon our arrival. We could not have asked for more accommodating hosts. No wonder people elect to come back year after year! You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay at Sand!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time at Paul and Faye Ann’s home. The couple is unbelievably nice and very accommodating. They’re available if you need need otherwise give you plenty of privacy. Our kids loved the pool, movie room, pool table and of course seeing the chickens! The east side of the island is quiet with nice beaches near by. You’re close to nice restaurants and Rum Point beach. We would definitely come back again someday. Thank you Paul and Faye Ann for opening your home to us!

I was there with my young grandchildren. The natural beach with its tidepools and plentiful hermit crabs is a wonderland for the children. The home is spaceous, airy and full of all the amenities for a wonderful stay. Paul and Anna are gracious hosts who are very quick to respond to any questions or issues. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We stayed in the lower unit "Sand" the last week of Jan 2020. What a breathtaking view right out your front door! The house was very clean and well equipped. Paul was excellent with communication before and during the trip. Fay Anne was picked up our groceries so we didn't have to worry about that after a long day of travelling. We rented a van and loved that we could drive anywhere on the island easily. Rum Point was our favourite place to go and we went there 3 days. It was a perfect white sand beach with lots of available chairs. Our grandchildren ages 4 and 22 months loved playing on the beach so much! Rum Point restaurant serves amazing lunches and frozen drinks. Beach bubbles is a great stop for lovely handmade soaps and cute gifts for your friends and family at home. We loved going to different restaurants on the oceanfront around the island. Tukka was especially a great experience. They feed the birds at 5 pm and our 4 year old grandson got a real kick about seeing the sharks! Crescent beach was spacious and comfortable and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home on beautiful Cayman Island.

Our family felt this place was total paradise. It has been a complete dream staying here and i would recommend it to anyone that wants privacy and lots of laughs with family. Paul was very attentive and went out of his way for us.
