We absolutely loved the location of the cabin,just gorgeous mountains. Cabin was very clean and loved all the little thoughtful amenities. Will definitely stay here again.

Really cute place but a few critiques. One, do not drive all the way to Pigeon Forge if you are coming into Knoxville from the north or west. Just go to Townsend, to Webb Road and then follow the directions provided. You’ll save an hour of travel time! Be aware that the bed is VERY firm. It wasn’t comfy for some recent shoulder issues I’ve had. Otherwise, cute little cabin, nicely located for the things on this side of the Park. It’s a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, so factor that in. Well-appointed with enough kitchen stuff (except for only having two spoons!) Would likely use again!

This was not a 1 bedroom, it was a 1 room. When the couch was folded out to a bed, it almost reached the bed. Both beds were horribly uncomfortable (expected of the couch pull out, but the queen bed was less comfortable than the sleep mat on the tile floor). There is no washing machine, yet they only gave us 4 wash cloths for 4 people for 4 nights. There is also not a dishwasher, yet the first check out instruction was to load and start the dishwasher. There were small pieces of trash on the countertop and the kitchen garbage can looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years. Finding the cabin was also a challenge. GPS does not take you to the address. After driving around for almost an hour we finally caught sight of a tiny, not reflective (so near impossible to see at night) sign pointing to the cabin. We were coming in late, so we could not call anyone for directions to find it. I will say, it was nicely secluded with a short, but very steep walk to the river.

My husband and I loved this cabin so much. It was lovely. The gas fireplace was romantic. We highly recommend. Perfect.

The house and hot tub were perfect. We loved walking down to the river and sitting by the fire!

No dishwasher or dryer washer, but all together nice spot, Hottub seats 2, really cheap cups plates forks, etc , bed small, but not terrible , fireplace on a timer but effective, nice tv, nice walkway down to water, nice deck a bit of drive from PF but gas station within walking distance, will choose another place next time

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint little cabin! Quick and easy access to get to a Smoky Mountains National park entrance, and the location was located, as promised, in the ‘peaceful side of the Smokys’. The best amenity was the hot tub, so relaxing to soak in after a day of hiking. The gas fire place fired up the first night, but died instantly - good thing the weather was warm enough after that so we didn’t need it. A pleasant stay overall!

Super cute cabin. The location was perfect for us and the view was great from the balcony. You feel like you are more secluded that you really are. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the bed. The bed was very uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the pull out couch the second night.

The property was clean and comfortable. However, I booked it because it stated it was waterfront for my hubby birthday to fish the river. So we were pretty disappointed. It shows a set of stairs and the river. It’s actually 70 STEPS and about 30 ft of rocks to navigate to get to bottom, then another 20 ft. Not anything easy. Pictures are misleading . This should not be considered waterfront property that I was hoping for.

The cabin was very well decorated and the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and myself. My only regret was not being able to stay longer!

This house was perfect for our family of 4! The location was amazing and the views were beautiful. We even saw some deer right out the door! We stayed back in November of 2022, and look forward to staying again!

This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon. Loved the view from the back deck as we sat in the hot tub. Cabin is far enough away from the crazy that it was peaceful and relaxing. Yet close enough to be able to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!!

This was a secluded location perfect for our family of 4. Close to the river and all attractions of Pigeon Forge . Best of both worlds. Cabins layout was great. In fact my husband said he was already looking forward to our next stay here.

Clean, secluded but close to the mountains. Hot tub was private! Everything we needed to celebrate 50 years together!

This is a perfect cabin for us, but really won’t work for more than a couple. We love the location in Townsend. We’ve stayed in this cabin several times and hope to return year after year.

We loved staying here! Check in process was easy, but the directions getting there could be a little better. Also, the steps to the river need work but overall we really enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed, kitchen had everything we needed. Pretty secluded and beautiful views! Will definitely stay there again.

The place was not far from the main road and was pretty easy to access. Would highly recommend.

Our Riverview cabin in Townsend Tn was awesome. Beautiful well kept place for our 3 night stay. Would recommend this to anyone . The only thing I would warn about is that the pictures in the brochure lead you to believe this is more remote and private than it is. The town, highway and houses around it are conveniently cropped out off the discription pics. That said, very nice place within 1/2 hour of Pigeon Forge!

The cabin was a perfect size for the two of us. The steps down to the river were great. The view of the river and mountains were nice. The hot tub warmed up quickly for relaxing after hiking (though a bit small for someone over 6’ tall). Townsend is very quiet and the people are friendly. I would recommend this for a couple’s Smoky Mountain visit!

Everything was great except we booked this place for the indoor fire place and it worked for 10 min before breaking. I tried contacting the owner to fix it and they did not resolve the issue

Easy check in, lots of clear communication (directions, rules, description of amenities). Love the deck, hot tub, elevation above the river, solitude. Perfect getaway!

Our stay at the Riverview Cabin was great. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and cozy. The only concerns we had were the deck that seemed to have some loose boards and it felt a little iffy in spots. Also, there was only one lock on the main door and we would have felt more safe and comfortable with another lock whether it was a deadbolt or chain lock (it looks like there used to be one but it wasn't there when we stayed). Not a huge problem, but there were cabins nearby (visible from deck) and the two glass doors that go out to the deck did not have blinds or shades of any kind. It was a little unsettling at night to have two glass doors totally open and visible. We had to makeshift covers with blankets we had available for optimal privacy.

The process of renting our cabin was as easy. It was an all around good experience. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the stay at Riverview it was absolutely perfect!!
