For the first time in 50 years my brother and I returned to our mother's beloved hometown to meet up with our Canadian relatives. The home was a lovely place to enjoy the view of the beautiful Lake Okanogan, walk the beach, or to walk to shops and restaurants. We appreciated having everything we needed at our fingertips to prepare food inside or on the patio where we could also grill our meals then eat outside. The home was extremely welcoming and comfortable, meeting all of our needs and living up to our highest expectations. Such a lovely experience!

Stayed here for a weekend work conference. perfectly situated and will stay here again in the future.

We booked this property to attend the Penticton Jazz Fest. We arrived to a clean and well maintained property which was well within walking distance of the festival venue as well as 5he downtown core.

So convenient being steps from the beach and the house was well equipped with everything required for our multi-generational family. Our 2nd time staying here and we plan on booking for next year.

Great experience

Overall we were happy with the rental. The beds were very comfortable and there was adequate bedding and towels. One comment is that we found the kitchen a little tight for more that one person at a time. I am not sure how to correct that. It was well stalked though and we got along fine. We did have a couple of trips up the step from the living space to the entry. I am not sure if that could be marked better. Over all great stay. Thank you

We had a lovely few days stay at this extremely comfortable and spacious property overlooking the lake. The owners were extremely helpful And prompt to reply to any queries we had. Would definitely recommend this property and hope that when we next visit the Okanagan area we can stay there again.

This property has lots of guest room and a large comfortable patio and yard. It is across the street from Lake Okanagan and centrally located for easy access to all the downtown amenities and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!

We were very happy with our accommodation for our family vacation. With grown children we hadn't been away as a family for quite a few years and decided we needed to get away from all that was happening. The unit had lots of space, was very clean and when it said they had everything, they really did. Afternoon dips in the lake, which is right across the street, were very refreshing after a day of wine and cider tasting. We spent most of our time outside and ate every meal on the patio. We did love everything about our stay, but if I had to give one negative, it was having to go through the galley style kitchen to get to the bedrooms upstairs. We all love to cook and so there was always more than one person in the kitchen. We have already told some friends and family about our great VRBO and we truly would love to book another week next year. Thank You!!

We spent a great week at this property during one of the hottest weeks of the year this summer. Wonderful hosts and everything we needed was in the home. We didn't even use the air-conditioning, despite the heat, as the home stayed fairly cool through the day and cooled off at night with all windows open. The outdoor eating area and bbq was the best part, along with the proximity of Okanagan Lake.

The home was located across from Lake Okanagan and an easy walk to the city center. The location was a good base for exploring the Okanagan Valley and the many wineries in the area. The condo was very clean and well furnished with good open spaces for socializing. Property manager and owners were very helpful with suggestions for local activities and restaurants. Would definitely rent again if we were to come back to Penticton.

This property is very well maintained and conveniently located - walking distance to the Saturday farmer's market, restaurants, etc. It was surprisingly not very noisy despite being right on Lakeshore Drive. It's not completely clear from the posting that this unit is in the back of the house. That said, there are two 'living room' spaces and one has a lake view. The quality of the furnishings is excellent. There is a nice outdoor table/chairs and a BBQ in a space that is separated from the parking. Lots of California quail walking around as there is a little park two properties away. The only minor criticism is that the bedrooms are quite small for queen beds.

Amazing location across the street from the beach, back provided shade from long days on intense heat! Wonderful to sit out at night ~ private. Even with proximity to beach and 'main drag' it was very quiet! Despite the heat the unit keeps pleasantly cool. Awesome for access to swim, bike and run the best spots! Everything was super clean, extra items in bathrooms and kitchen made it so easy to just start enjoying. The manager was responsive and friendly. Only problem was not being able to stay longer! Thank you!

Our family picked this spot for a family vacation. The property was in a perfect location with great decor and very comfortable. Hopefully we can return to enjoy again. We had a wonderful time.

We shared this house with another couple for our son’s playoffs. It was the perfect setup and location for us. The place is very clean and comfortable. The owners (and Jim) were great to deal with. We will definitely rent this unit again.

Directly across from Okanagan Lake. Close to many amenities. 10 minute walk to “the peach” and South Okanagan Events Centre. Too many restaurants within walking distance to even list :)

We went to the lake every day. There's a nice park just a few steps down the alley with swings, jungle gym and splash pad. Japanese garden is a must- see. Kids has a blast at the bouncy thing out in the water. Supposedly discount coupon from visitors center. Loco-landing was lots of fun too. Restaurants within walking distance. Tons of wineries and orchards in both directions worth visiting. The house itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you will need from kitchen ware to bathroom supplies including shampoo and soap. Also dishwasher soap And laundry soap plus beach towels. Used the outdoor grill and table. So fun. Definitely book this place. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room.

My wife and I decided to go on a little wine tour in the Okanagan with our parents and friends. We were lucky enough to have found this awesome property! Slept all 6 of us comfortably. Beautiful bathrooms, clean and full of everything you need!! Joanne and Fred are awesome and their property manager Jo is superb! We will definetly come back!

Location was great, house was fantastic - loved having two floors/two livingrooms. AC had no problem keeping things cool and each day the temperature was in the 30's.

We loved the location, right across from the Lake, and it's close proximity to all of the child friendly attractions that Penticton has to offer. The unit was very well equipped, it even had lots of games for the kids to play, and the owner and property manager were very accommodating. Highly recommended, especially for families with younger children, although it would work for anyone wanting to be well located in Penticton.

We stayed at this property July 1 - 8th. There were positive and not positive features. I will start with the positive. Location is great right across the street from the beach, down the street from restaurants, parks and casino. The decorating in the house is very nice and it was clean (besides a couple of issues- that is in my not positive comments). The caretaker was really friendly. The unit is well stocked to cook all types of meals. The not so positive features of this rental are it is the BACK unit of a duplex. The view of the beach posted on the website is from the top floor when you are standing you look out onto roof and lake you cannot see the view when you are sitting. There is a noisy window air conditioner that is located on the top floor where the bedrooms are. The unit is not air conditioned throughout. You have to keep your bedroom doors open to keep it somewhat cool in the rooms. I actually slept on the couch one night when our room was to hot because we closed our door. There were issues with all the bedrooms - bedroom 1 you can not run the ceiling fan with the air conditioner on - bedroom 2 the ceiling fan only runs on slow speed as the chain is broken - bedroom 3 there are no dressers to put your clothes away. The mattresses are not high quality. The first night we were there my daughter found 4 long dark hairs in her sheets she is blonde they were not hers. We thought maybe they all got stuck in the sheets so we went to change the sheets there are no extra sets. So 11pm the night we arrive I am washing sheets. Not impressed. If you want the main level to have air movement you have to move the 2 fans from one level to another hauling the portable fans up and down the stairs. We have rented many places through VRBO this is the first time that we feel we were mislead, we believed we were renting a house. There is no mention it is a back unit of a duplex. If you want to sit outside in the front of the house be sure to sit on the side where you are not blocking the view of the folks in the front unit (awkward). The main level has the TV room which is the hottest room which also has the poorest selection of programs offered at any rental (not even a DVD player). It would have been nice to relax and watch a show /movie after a long day. I am being gracious saying there is maybe 10 viewable channels. VRBO does not give the option to list as a multi family dwelling, however it should be disclosed in the ad by the owners.

The rear unit of this Lakeshore Drive duplex was as described and very well equipped with everything you could want. We were here ( 3 couples) for our sons wedding and it was convenient to everything and the venues were going to. The owner and the property manager were great to work with, I would highly recommend this place.

Loved our time here. We have 2 young kids so being able to walk out of door and accross the street to beach was amazing. 5 min walk to downtown along lakeshore or just steps away from restaurants in other direction. Convenient parking and quiet location. Place was in good shape with everything necessary for cooking. Airconditioning up stairs kept house nice and cool. Fans in downstairs circulated air nicely. We liked the 2 levels as we could get kids to bed and then talk, play games or watch tv. Great spot and would definatley return.

Nicely located to all Penticton beach holiday activities. Peaceful home with quality furnishings. Good separation of space with the up and down living areas. Our two families never felt crowded or too close to one another even with 3 kids. Very good attention to sound as we never heard our neighbors in the front unit. Out of control of the owners was the construction in the back lane which ensured we were up every morning at 7:30. (The City also uses a leaf blower to clean the sidewalks at 7:00 am). That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanne and Fred Wescott's home in Penticton.
