The perfect place to stay with the most accommodating hosts. The property is enchanting with flora and fauna everywhere. Our cottage was filled with live orchids. Thea asked what we wanted for our stay and then equipped us with everything. One of our best vacations ever.

We loved the proximity to Pebble Beach as we were there for the ATT Pro Am. Thea and Stefano are great hosts - fridge stocked upon arrival, and responsive and thoughtful (brought us food) when power was lost due to the storm.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cottage Retreat. The hosts were terrific. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable.

Owners were extremely friendly & greeted us at the home, & explained certain aspects of the property. The website was quite accurate, in fact, the home was actually nicer than the photos. As was stated by others, the pantry/refrigerator were nicely stocked. Extremely clean & well arranged. Everything was quality throughout. One could see that a lot of intelligent thought and work went into this home. The bed was very comfortable, & there were plenty of closet and drawer spaces. Very quiet. Even the indoor lighting was fascinating - you'll see what I mean. And the outdoor patio is a lovely spot. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with our stay at this great place, and anticipate returning.

We were fortunate to find such a nice rental in Pebble Beach, which is a rare find. The owner greeted us at check in and gave us a tour, answered any questions and gave us helpful advice. The unit was extremely clean and incredibly well equipped. Additionally, the owners provided numerous fresh flower arrangements. coffee, soda, and several other beverages, a nice bottle of wine, milk, bread, butter, cereals... I could go on and on. It was over the top in a really nice way! The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets and towels. We give it our Highest recommendation!!

Some of our favorite snacks and beverages were waiting for us upon arrival. Clean, private and lovely. In the heart of Pebble Beach.

We loved our stay at the Pebble Beach Towne and Country Cottage. Thea and Stefano were so gracious and made us feel at home, and we loved all of the food and beverages they provided. The cottage was very secluded among all of the beautiful plants and it was conveniently located to many activities we enjoyed in the Carmel/Pebble Beach area. We will return! Thank you!

Thea & Steph were outstanding hosts. Our flights were delayed all day and we were very late. They stayed up for us. They stocked the house with things we loved, made recommendations that enhanced our stay & were just delightful to talk with. The grounds were filled with beautiful well tended plants and the house was extremely comfortable. We would live with them if we could! Thank you for a wonderful memory.

Nestled on a hill in a beautiful fancy neighborhood just off of the 17 Mile Dive is this charming, well appointed, immaculate 1BR cottage. Hosts Thea and Stefano couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The foliage and statuary was like an arboretum. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return.

The property was wonderful, but the owners/hosts were even better. From the food and beverages provided in the cottage, to communication on all aspects of the property and my stay - it exceeded expectations.

Our property management couldn’t have been more accommodating. They had all the supplies we need and then some to start our stay (water, sparkling water, granola, milk, coffee, bread, butter, jam, and a bottle of wine). We came to Pebble for the Pro-Am. After a long day of walking the course,(15,000+ steps), it was so nice to come back to our cozy bungalow and warm ourselves by the fire. I would totally come back again.

This little private cottage is tucked in behind the owners house. It was immaculate! The owners thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. We are particular about beds and the king mattress was very comfortable, soft sheets and many many bath linens. Beach towels are also provided. Thea provided bread, granola, jam, wine, milk and a few other essentials which was so very nice. A Nespresso Vertuo coffee maker and frother were also there along with a wide variety of every coffee or tea you might want. The fridge was stocked with water, and other beverages. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this one rates the highest. The location was great just a few minutes to pebble lodge, 5 min to carmel. We were able to walk to the lodge for lunch only about a mile. The owners are around and available for any questions. We will definitely be going back.

The property is beautiful and extremely well furnished, maintained and supplied. The hosts are terrifically nice people, who clearly put their hearts in creating a wonderful experience for their guests. An absolutely wonderful place we'd be very happy to return to.

The cottage was impeccably clean, private, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful garden setting. The owners stocked the cottage with our personalized selections for breakfast, as well as a great bottle of Carmel Valley wine. The location is centrally located near Carmel By the Sea, Carmel Valley, Point Lobos, and the Big Sur area. It's also minutes a way from many of the best overlooks on 17-mile drive. Highly recommend.

This cottage is probably the cleanest VRBO we have every rented. Thea and Stefano were very easy to work with, communicated well and provided everything we needed while there. We didn't even have to make a trip to the grocery store, which was nice. Thea asked our likes/dislikes before arrival, so everything was tailored to our liking. The wine, champagne and chocolate cake were very much enjoyed! The beauty of this place cannot be described adequately. The time and effort they go to in the flowers, landscaping and upkeep of their property does not go unnoticed. We were very pleased with our stay. The location was great, and at night, it was very peaceful. Also, we found out there is another cottage just above the one we stayed out, so if you are two couples looking for a place to rent where you can each have your own space, this is the one! I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying in this cottage on property of hosts. Bigger than we realized with spacious kitchen and bathroom. Office/ living room comfortable and beautifully appointed in hardwoods. Bedroom quiet and spacious. 3 TV's on property. Good wi-fi Skylights in bedroom, bath, and kitchen give the cottage airy ambience. Spotless. If you're a gardener or artist you'll love this property. Hosts are warm, gracious and clear in their instructions for property. No a/c but climate rarely needs it being a few blocks up a steep winding hill from the coastline and 17 Mile Drive. On Carmel end of Pebble Beach. Nice touch with working fireplace for cool nights. There are three levels in cottage with 1-2 stairs each.

Communication was impressive from the get go, with Thea asking what our choices were for beverages and food items during our stay. We have never experienced this before in the many rentals we have stayed at, and it was so generous of them, and kept us from having to run out for coffee and breakfast each morning. A bottle of wine, (& they asked our preference!) a welcome chocolate cake, complete with our names written on it, along with all the other extra food & beverages was just awesome. The property is gorgeous, with lush plants and flowers surrounding the cottage, and we felt immediately welcomed with the sights, scents, and peacefulness around us. A courtyard out the kitchen door allowed us to sit in the sunshine and enjoy the sound of the fountain, birds, and beauty of their gardens. The home was clean and had everything we might need. A very warm welcome from both of the hosts upon our arrival, with any information needed was given at that time. They live on property so were at the ready for any questions we had during our stay, along with wonderful suggestions. We were only visiting for the weekend for a wedding in Carmel, so our stay was definitely not long enough and we hope to return for another visit in the future.
