The only drawback was that we were there for a family memorial service and wanted to check in a couple of hours early to change our clothes. The manager said the house was ready but there was an additional hourly rate of $35 for early check-in. That had never happened with other rentals and we really felt it was unnecessary and insensitive.

This property is great for family and friends. Comfortable and clean. Beds were great. Air hockey and ping pong in the garage got alot of use. Great location being right at the entrance to the discovery trail. We will book again.

The property itself is very clean, well stocked and has a high end kitchen and good size windows. Neighborhood is well kept with manicured gardens and less than 0.5 mile from the beach with paved path. Management is very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Quick to get into the main part of town and a less than five minute walk to the road to watch cars cruise by from the house as well. We really enjoyed our stay here! The layout of the house is nice, and it was super clean when we arrived. The bedrooms are all large with comfortable beds. The kitchen has the space and equipment to make just about any meal you can imagine. We found the neighborhood to be peaceful, and it was awesome to be so close to the ocean. The only complaints we had were some of the bath towels were a little dingy, and the ping pong balls were flat. It also would have been nice to have an instruction sheet for the A/C; we got it to work, but it took us several minutes. Other than those minor things our stay was a lot of fun, and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Bloomer Estates again.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was great with a few minor ‘gee it would have been nice if…’ items kleenexes and shampoo would have been great and the deck furniture cleaned, hose operational and big weeds pulled from the yard. We will be back. The whole family loved it!

I was blown away by the kitchen area. Quality utensils and cookware. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable. You can hear the waves from the house. There is enough room to host a family dinner. We had 7 adults come over and it was plenty of room. The yard was disappointing mostly bark dust. I would also say the fencing is geared for a smaller dog. My lab. would have easily cleared the fence if I had brought him. The garage play area was awesome. We had one day of bad weather and it was great for the kids to play inside all day long. As for the beach, there is no direct beach access. We went to the beach closer to town. I was disappointed at how dirty the beach was. Garbage everywhere. I was surprised to see that they allow 4x trucks on beach so if you are not used to seeing that be careful and be on alert. The drivers drive way too fast on the beach. All in all it was enjoyable time. It was great to just relax and spend time with family.
