Easy location for those on foot! Spacious property. The property has fantastic neighbours - really lovely couple! Helpful when increasing guest numbers.

Some areas were a bit dirty, toothpaste left, dead bugs and cobwebs. Not enough pillow cases for the pillows so had to sleep without pillow cases. Then the guests have to clean up and put back everything - which is concerning if the bedding is wiped down (?) A tin opener would be nice to have in the kitchen - we had to ask the neighbour ! Dish washer had no soap to use and no cloth to dry dishes wipe surfaces. Not enough seating in the living and dining areas - sofa sits 3 and 6 chairs at dinner table thus can’t all eat together. No low tables and cushions for seated dining either. Lots of rules and messages sent pre and during the stay re the house rules. Most likely due to the translation but rather off putting ie “police will be called and you will have to leave in the middle of the night etc.. if you make noise”. I think to receive this on booking is okay, but day before and at checkin plus at night is a bit much. It seems to be automated messaging but really was annoying and the tone is unnecessary.

Great spot close to station and lake.
