Tudo é perfeito! Cada detalhe pensado em agradar e trazer conforto. Todas as colaboradoras do local são extremamente simpáticas, atenciosas e colaborativas. O pequeno almoço é fantástico! É tão bem servido e reposto sempre, que nem há necessidade de almoçar ou jantar (rs). Produtos frescos e de qualidade diariamente reposto. Fora que chegamos no final do dia e já encontramos nosso chalé quentinho, pois já deixavam a lareira acesa. Ficaria muito mais tempo e voltarei sempre que Possível!!!!

The owner and staff have created a distinguished place and atmosphere at Chão do Rio! It’s a long time I haven’t seen places with such well-thought-out details. So cozy and charming, the ladies are so welcome. You feel like at home. Special thanks goes to the breakfast basket - it’s unbelievable, all products are fresh and delicious and there’s plenty of them. The area is beautiful with various nice elements like garden, animals, pergolas, swings and benches with a view. We wish to come back at different seasons to see this beauty again.

It’s a great country retreat up in the mountains, an hours drive or so from Lisbon very beautiful pastoral setting. Breakfast in the basket was a cornucopia of goodies!

Everything was really great, from the house which was very comfy and nicely equipped, to the breakfast (really awesome 🤩), to the amazing biological pool where you could swim and see nenuphars and frogs, to the extraordinary staff which was always ready to assist (truly excellent service).

Beautiful location and accommodation in an idyllic setting that caters for families but still keeps a calm setting for all

Fresh bread daily and huge basket with local goodies for breakfast! Nice quiet location, nice views close by on top of small hill. Birds singing :)
