Lovely friendly hotel

Lovely hotel with amazing sea views. Perfect location and lovely rooms. Booked to return in August.

Room needed curtains, the blinds didn't stop any daylight in the morning

Location is fantastic, right on the beach, and the staff were very polite and hospitable. Rooms were large with a great sea view and the breakfast was freshly cooked and fair value for money. As it was my wife's birthday they left a card and some cake in our room which was very sweet.

Our room was very dated and we couldn't open the door on arrival as the carpet was too high so we had to force open the door to gain access. Not good if there is a fire as getting out the room could be difficult. General cleanliness was disappointing. Our room smelled old and musty and the carpet and fixtures have seen better days. Broken latches on the window and stained bed sheets. Suspect hairs left in the bathroom from the previous occupant. There was a glazed access door out to a balcony that our room didn't have access to so it was locked, but the adjacent room did, and they could walk up to our glazed door and look into the bedroom. The glazing is obscured but it gave me a fright in the morning seeing the silhouette of a women and daughter standing and chatting outside our door. Breakfast cups were both coffee stained and our cutlery was old and dull. Milk jug had brown stains in it. Generally the place is tired and in need of a very good clean and refurb.

Staff were friendly and the place is just by the beach. There is a private pool which was great (down side no shower or toilet available). Food was fabulous

We booked a classic king room but it did not look like classic but more like a travel stay type. Staff were casual and not attentive. At first breakfast my wife ordered porridge and I full English, I had to sit for 30mins watching her eat her food before mine came, when mine arrived they gave her my food instead then she had to watch me eat. Second breakfast we were given a lunch menu. The other table was being served by 3 staff and kept asking the same questions 'have you ordered yet', as soon as the 3rd staff asked, their breakfast had arrived. Our room was not cleaned but a kind lady sorted it out quickly for us.

Ideally located on the beach.

No form of Air conditioning, not even a fan. That is basic these days. Parking was a farce. Blocked in by another guest who couldn't be located. Wanted to check out but was unable to leave for another hour.

The location is fabulous and the sea view just wonderful. Reception staff excellent.

The staff are excellent very nice and helpful. The location is the best .

There were no phones in the rooms so we had had to use our mobile phones for room service. On our check in the room was very clean but 2nd day the cleaning wasn't good even though we were advised to leave the room for 1 hour to allow for cleaning. The bed was 2 single beds put together very uncomfortable.

The hotel is in need of a major improvement. The bedroom is just OK. The bathroom - although we were told we had a refurbished one - was 70-ties. Our room with a balcony and ‘seaview’ offered in fact a view on the parking, and just a bit of sea …. Given the price we were disappointed.
