Being told you can book cheaper parking when already arrived and parked up. Only option was to leave car park and re enter

Great location, friendly staff and room was comforable.

Being in the city centre it was noisy at night time, even with windows closed we could hear the sirens. The room was rather hot when we closed the windows.

Very close to shopping Center and Docklands. 5-10 mins walk. Our favorite part of our hotel stay was the Breakfast, which had a very large selection of food- really great for fussy kids. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned. After going back to reception they changed my room straight away with no issues. I used to come here quite often for weekend getaways with the kids. And it always felt like a luxury hotel. Haven't been back for a while, so we were quite excited to come back. To our disappointment the overall standards of the hotel have slipped quite a lot. Rusty lamps in the rooms, filthy curtains and overall very tired and drab. Not what I'd expect for the price, as its not cheap. Some of the sidewalks leading up to the hotel are taken up by tents of Homeless people, with a lot of drunks and druggies up and around especially in the evening. Not the hotels fault- but just something to be aware of when going out with children. As we had some not so great experiences.

I called the day before arrival to ask if my husbands 70th birthday could be noted with something in the room as a welcome happy birthday, I also mentioned he is a neck breather and although is not in a wheel chair he does struggle to walk far, I was asked if he would like accessible room but I said no I would just appreciate a room close to a lift etc. I said I would be happy to pay for his birthday to be acknowledged as this will probably be his last one and was reassured they could make sure something was done for our arrival. Not a thing, no mention of it. Put me off when myself and my child had to go to get celebratory bits. Toilet door didn’t shut, as soon as you sit down it comes open.

The hotel was fine and has a lovely vibe with friendly and efficient staff.

Every morning at 7 am and for a full hour a truck (s) were unloading in the street making it impossible to sleep beyond 7am. With young kids who needed their sleep this completely ruined the holiday.

The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and new. The location is ideal. The staff was very welcoming.

We book a time slot to use the swimming pool and it was full of people literally you couldn't swim, I suspect other guest just turn up and don't book.

The location was superb. Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the location was ideal. Very clean throighout and had brillaint facilities and very comftable beds.

Very central close to central station

Modern quiet hotel very close to everything. Great breakfast and the pool was a big plus for my child! Stored our luggage on our last day so we could explore suitcase free!

Air con not great for cooling room overnight, it was too warm to sleep well

Staff were great, location is good. Room was large and clean.

Bar closed at 11, turned the heat off in the bar, so I had to sit in the cold with my jacket on to finish my drink. The TV didn't work in the room. The phone didn't work in the room so I couldn't contact reception. I had to go down to reception twice to try to get the tv fixed which never got resolved. Staff did offer to move rooms but it was 11.45pm by this stage which was too late.

The pool

The room was not clean. Toilet in a separate room to the bathroom! Uncomfortable beds. Awful gluten free selection at breakfast.

Easy to navigate and all facilities that you would need, rooms were excellent

Had to use card to pay for the pool table,bar was very expensive.

The hotel was lovely and quiet. Its a perfect location in city centre

Variety of hot and cold breakfast items. Great family room. Bar fridge and kettle in bedroom. Very close to bold road restaurants. Short walk to the cathedral.
