Nothing to dislike

The Pansion River is located on the river and the sunset views from the balcony are beyond compare. Very close distance to all the major attractions. The room was a good value for the money. The food was fine, nothing exceptional but good enough for breakfast (which is provided) and dinner after a long day out sightseeing. While in Sarajevo center, my friend had her wallet stolen. (This DID NOT happen at the Pansion). The owner of the hotel could not have been nicer or more helpful. He took time out of his work to take my friend to the Police department to report the robbery and then once again when her wallet was recovered. A 5 star rating for the staff.

The shower did not work properly and the door to the patio came right off the hinges.

Overall good and reasonable. But price is little more

The good part was the location. really close to the center of Sarajevo (5minutes by foot)

The things that were not okay were; first of the parking. We arrived by car and travelled for 6hours, and when we arrived there was no parking spaces available, and when we went to the reception to see if they can solve it(because it says that the parking is available for hotel guests) we were told to wait for an hour or until someone moves from the parking spot. So yeah after 6hours of travel, had to wait an hour to park... Also, on booking it says that you can pay by visa, but when we arrived at the hotel they wanted cash(in Bosnian currency), after i showed them that it says its possilbe to pay by card, then they somehow changed their opinion and i was able to pay by card. Room was not as big as it looks in the pictures, but the worst part was the balcony. Even though its winter, and we werent even going to use the balcony, but it was such nice weather we wanted to drink coffe on the balcony, but when we tried to go outside on it, it was literrally filled with trash, it was disgusting. I had a problem with my phone, and needed help from the front desk, but every time i tried to go down to the reception there was literraly nobody there. Thanfully, guys from the restaurant helped me. But the guy that was working when we were cheching in was helpfull thats a plus. All in all it was an okay experience, but it can be A LOT BETTER!

Goog breakfast, but it served on your choise. Comfortable warm room with terrace just above water, beautifull view. Comfortable bed. 10 min ftom old town. Restaurant at the hotel also great. And amazing frienfly staff.

We were received as family! the place is run by a sweet and extremely friendly family. We had an amazing and spacious room with river view, we even had a tree in the room!! the last day we were checking out very early so they had ready for us a take away breackfast!

Staff was really kind. From my experience, their dinner was the best in the Sarajevo. I really recommend you to try Vegetable plate. Prices are same with the city center, even maybe cheaper.

They have different options for breakfast, and I find it a little weak. Options are good, but would prefer some fresh foods instead. Also there might be glass in the room.

Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.

We had a very nice weekend stay at Pansion River hotel. It was very conveniently located near the old town. The view on the river was also nice. It was convenient to have a hotel restaurant available to sit and order food. The breakfast and customer service were very good.

The road in front with cars driving by fast was a bit stressful when travelling with little kids, since the parking lot was across the street. This is not the fault of the hotel, but air pollution in Sarajevo during the winter is very bad :(

This hotel is really given you the best feeling from how the city is! It is very close to the old town and situated by the water, which gives you the impression if you are on a boat. The rooms are nice specious and comfortable. The restaurant has the beautiful view on the water, which is next to the hotel. The staff was very friendly! We came by car and there is 24 hours a guard to look after your car. If you don't want to stay in an ugly big hotel and you want something special, take this one! Best in town!

I really liked the view from the hotel over the river, close to the city center but still in a quite and calm environment. The staff was also really friendly and helpful.

I stayed there with my wife and two children from 23rd August to 27th August and it was an amazing stay. The host Ermin (demir) and Anida were excellent. Very helpful and polite. Always there to help out when needed. I have stayed in alot of hotels but the service I got from pansion River was far better than any other hotels. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The location and friendly staff

Rooms were not very clean, it looked like someone cleaned them very quickly and not thorougly.

Nice place to stay for one night, close to the center and on the river for a nice walk. Good value for money. Staff very friendly.
