Very friendly staff, nice food and comfy room, what more could one ask?

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating as we arrived earlier than expected and they allowed us to check into the room. We had fully expected to have to wait and have a few drinks at the bar. The breakfast was fantastic rooms were very cosy and we would definitely visit again

Very peaceful location but not too far from Telford.

Room was small but well appointed & warm and bathroom spacious with excellent shower

Lovely place, exceptional food.

The young staff are very well trained and attentive, especially in the restaurant. They seem to be very knowledgeable about what they are serving and are helpful explaining what to choose. I travel a lot for business and this really stood out for me.

The bell which rings every time a dish is ready in the kitchen is really annoying. Sounds like a doorbell and I think unnecessary as the waiting staff are constantly going between restaurant and kitchen.

Excellent welcome, friendly, helpful and efficient. Bar service was prompt, range of drinks and snacks offered was very good. Great Dinner menu and able to cater for a Coeliac guest with a very good selection of Gluten Free options. Sensibly priced wine list. Breakfast was first class, well presented, fresh and very tasty. Again, GF wasn’t a problem with GF toast being available. Our second stay in 12 months and we shall certain return.

Lovely little property! If I ever returned for a country holiday, I’d stay here, and can definitely recommend it to others. It’s beautiful, picturesque, and clean.

Everything about our stay was superb. The room was very clean, the staff were exceptional and the restaurant offered good food at very reasonable prices. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

The TV in the room was a bit small, absolutely not a show stopper but something a bit bigger would be better.

The staff were always willing to please. The actual place was lovely, clean, comfortable and well presented. The food was 5 star The room was spotless.

The only 1 thing I can say is that we found a pair of dirty socks from the previous client. But owning my own cleaning business I can understand something like this being overlooked

The room was well set out with lots of storage and even a foldaway cot with spare bedding if needed. Hairdryer, iron & ironing board supplied. Towels were a great size and there was a good selection of biscuits & teas, coffee's etc. Plugs either side of the bed for phone charging. Breakfast was lovely; I had the salmon & scrambled eggs on the first day and the portion was huge and really tasty. The fried eggs on the second day were lovely. The choice of cereals and juices was a bit limited but fine for us. We could order more drinks and toast if we needed. Had evening meal one night and it was lovely; veggie burger and chips for me and braised steak pie for hubby and both were great portions and tasty.

A bit noisy with when staff were packing away and setting up from the pub section below. Needed 2 tea bags in the pot of tea and the toast was only done on 1 side on the second day but was still tasty.

The village location is excellent, our room was very clean and tidy. We only stayed two nights eating in the resturant both nights the food was excellent and the wonderful breakfast set us up for the day. The staff were fantastic in the evening and at breakfast want to say a special thanks to Colette who laughed and joked with us at breakfast. But they were all so nice.
