This is our second year staying at this beautiful home! It is beautifully decorated and one of the nicest homes we have seen in Watercolor! Owner is super responsive with questions! I can see why she is gets a 5 star rating every time!!! This will be a yearly vacation for my family!

We actually reserved and rented this property in January 2020 thinking we would have our annual family vacay in July 2020. Needless to say, covid health concerns, expected quarantines when we all returned home made this designated time not possible. Owner Laurie Redmond was extremely accommodating in rescheduling our vacay one year later in 2021. Communication with her throughout the year and as we approached our vacay was so easy by email or text. She was always responsive to questions. The home on VRBO site was so attractive to our large family. In person it was magnificent! Every bedroom, porch, living areas and fabulous kitchen made our stay perfect! Watercolor Beach Club access, GEM car and 6 bicycles enabled us to get around easily and safely! There is so much to do, beaches, kayaking, swimming in a multitude of pools along with our own backyard pool, a park at our front doorsteps, a bocce ball court, basketball and soccer areas for our preteens was so close! Watercolor Camp for the grandkids just a couple blocks away…priceless! Family cooking and shrimp boils, birthday cake, steaks and fish on the grill…….all perfect! Thanks Laurie!

House is beautiful, clean, well stocked and perfectly located. Laurie is one of the most helpful and responsive managers I’ve ever dealt with, and we’ve rented a lot of vacation properties!

We had a great stay at the Sandcastle. The owner was excellent to work with and very responsive to any need. We had a wonderful time spent with kids and grandparents. We really enjoyed the kitchen area and it was great having a first floor bedroom for grandparents who aren't great with stairs. We wouldn't hesitate to choose this property again.

This house is in a great location in Watercolor (between tennis courts and Camp Watercolor). We have stayed in Watercolor many times and this house is a good one—it has many amenities and features, including steam shower, sonic type ice machine, and a pool. Our family of 7 had a great time! Owner is excellent to work with as well.

We loved our stay-the house was clean and well appointed. The property manager was very attentive to a few issues we had during our stay. It was great to have the GEM car to get around Watercolor. Will definitely return and stay at this home!

Thank you to Laurie for all of your great communication! Your house is beautiful, and even better in person than the pictures! The location is central to everything. The golf cart and bikes were essential to our daily routines and activities. Laurie was always available to us for any questions or concerns we had before and during our stay. We had an incredible 2 weeks and are already thinking about when we can return!

We love staying at this property. The owner is very helpful and responsive! It has a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful decor and all the amenities we needed. We would definitely choose it again!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! We had plenty of space and enjoyed all of the amenities the home provided. Loved the bed swing, the secluded feel of the backyard, and the proximity to the Camp Pool. My youngest was disappointed the Wii didn’t work, but not a huge deal. Because of Covid-19, beach towels were not provided, so we had to buy our own towels at the store. We also had difficulty securing beach chair service, so we bought a couple extra chairs and tent so that we could set up our own area on a less crowded public beach. Overall, loved the house and would stay there again!! Don’t want to forget to mention the amazing cleaning crew who cleans the house after guests leave. I accidentally left a very special necklace behind, they found it and mailed it back to me. So incredibly thankful for their honesty!!

We loved this house! It is so spacious. We spent the majority of the time in the house cooking, laying by the pool and enjoying the amenities. The location is perfect as well. It sits right across from a bocce ball court and is a short bike ride to the beach. It is perfect for big families or groups. Will be coming again!

This house provides everything you could need for a relaxing beach stay. There were 4 adults and 6 kids and we had plenty of room. The place was very clean and well kept. Laurie was amazing with her communication and even helped us secure additional bikes. The pool was perfect for those double red flags or just sitting around the house relaxing. The GEM car I highly recommend as it made getting around so easy and convenient and we never had a problem finding a place to park. Thank you Laurie for the wonderful memories our family made this past week!

What a perfect first beach trip for the kids! They had so much fun playing hide and go seek throughout the house, family bicycle rides after dinner and swimming from dawn to dusk. Laurie was a wonderful host and promptly answered any questions we had. The house was impeccable with the smallest details being thought of like small wall lights going upstairs to guide your way at night and also a tiny light in the bathroom for those “early morning” restroom breaks :) The swing bed on the balcony was awesome during a late afternoon rain storm where our family (2 adults and 4 kids) cozied up and watched a movie. The GEM car which we nicknamed JEB, was the absolute icing on the cake with just a quick jaunt to Publix (less than 2 minutes) for any forgotten items or a beach visit for a few hours (less than 5 minutes). We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time on our first visit to Seaside. Great memories were made and we can’t wait to make more in this beautiful town!!!!!

The property was in excellent condition and provided an ideal location to all the recreation activities (pool, lake, shops, restaurants and beach). I highly recommend the GEM car as we were able to avoid driving our car the entire time. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning next year.

The Sand Castle is a gorgeous home with wonderful amenities. Our family had plenty of room for both adults and kids. The kitchen was one of our favorite spots to cook together as it has a large island and plenty of space. The kids really enjoyed the pool and we used the outdoor grill most evenings. There are 3 patios plus an outdoor pool and lounge chairs in the back so everyone had a lot of space to relax. Our family also enjoyed the community pool with the lazy river and we went on quite a few bike rides and walks around Water Color. It is really safe and has a very nice neighborly feel. We used the GEM car to get to the beach, which is very close. The home is stocked with beach chairs and umbrellas, so it is an easy and fun trip down to the Water Color beach. It was nice that they handed you towels at the beach, so that was one less thing to worry about. Our family had a blast and enjoyed every minute! I highly recommend this home as a vacation spot for your family in Seaside. You won't be disappointed in all it has to offer!

We were so excited to stay in this home but we’re very disappointed with our week long family vacation here. We stayed in this house with 2 young children and unfortunately I can not recommend it due to the issues we encountered. There were 2 toilets that were broken during our stay, a glass shower door that was cracked and exposed as well as bugs (Alive and dead) through out the home. The golf cart we rented from the hone owner was also filthy and had spiders in it that bit both my daughter and I while riding in it. When trying to open an umbrella by the pool it was so old and rusted it broke off the base almost falling on my Mom who was also staying in the home with us. This house and property just did not seem well maintained enough for the price we paid and we have stayed in lots of homes in the watercolor community and never experienced issues like this. The house itself is nice but unfortunately just not worth the money to have this many things come up during our stay. When making the property manager aware of all these issues she was extremely defensive and rude and accused us of leaving the home too dirty when we checked out (citing dirty sinks/stove and pillows and blankets being left on the floor as her reasoning which I believed was the housekeepers job to clean up, not the guest!). All in all a very bad experience for us and we will not be back to this home or want to deal with property manager again.

Beautiful home home! Excellent amenities. Very clean. Loved the GEM car and pool with all of the kids.

We stayed here over Spring Break recently with another family. We had four adults and four kids from 11 to 16 and this house was perfect. The rooms all have bathrooms, there are several porches, lots of hang out space, an absolutely amazing kitchen that included everything we needed to cook amazing meals (including and ice maker, a nespresso machine, and two dish washers to make cleanup easy). The pool area was a perfect space to hangout with lots of space and chairs/lounges for everyone and it's very private since it backs to a natural space. We rented the GEM car for the week and it was the icing on the cake. Getting to the beach was not only easy, but a lot of fun with the GEM car. If it's between this hose and another house, pick this one. The owner, Laurie, was available before, during, and after our stay and felt more like a personal concierge than owner. We highly recommend The Sandcastle and will likely stay there again in the future!

Our family enjoyed the Sandcastle tremendously! The home has a gourmet kitchen that provides to entertain a crowd. The bedrooms are cozy and beautifully decorated. The porches are inviting as well as the pool and outdoor kitchen. The owner was a pleasure to work with and responsive. Just an overall WONDERFUL week.
