This is the third year we and our mini-dachshund have stayed at the Cabina for Christmas, and we have hosted a Christmas Smorgasbord for our family there. Everything is aesthetically pleasing. Rene' is a great host, and her Cabina lacks nothing from our perspective. She even loans us extra serving pieces for our Smorgasbord. The Cabina feels as though it is in the country, but it is minutes from the rest of the South Hill, Downtown and Spokane Valley. We hope to be back next year!

We stayed at this beautiful property in 2015 and got to come back to it for the Thanksgiving holiday this year. It was even better than we remembered. The personal touches, Italian inspired decorations, incredibly comfortable bed, sheets, and blankets, and the overall vibe of the whole property made it perfect. Again.

This was a perfect little cabin tucked away in the quite hillsides of Spokane. Rene was wonderful and accommodating and answering any questions we had. The cabin had all you need for a weeks stay. The surrounding area is stunning and so relaxing. The winery across the street in walking distance is a bonus. Not far from downtown Spokane but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. We had family over for a nice dinner that fit all 6 of us comfortably. There is wildlife all around and we loved sitting in the garden area. A must stay if visiting the Spokane area!

The Cabina is such a little gem. I visit Spokane often and wish we had found this place earlier. Rene was great to communicate with. The Cabina was very clean and well equipped. The grounds are heaven to wake to. It truly served as a little home away from home while we were visiting family. Thank you.

We loved our time here. The place was so cute and cozy. Conveniently located directly across the street from a winery and minutes from both Spokane and Spokane Valley. A the same time it was far enough out to be relaxed and out of the city.

Rene has this cute little getaway prepared so that your stay is so comfortable. I was in town to visit family and wanted my own space. This place was easy to find, yet tucked away off the busy path. I enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the sunset. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their own space in a calm setting. I will definitely stay here again if i am back in the area! Everything was fantastic!

Rene’s property was great! It was a convenient location on the south hill with a great view. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. We hosted a small baby shower and it was the perfect venue.

The pictures on VRBO are accurate however when you drive up, you are hit with the beauty of the park like setting. There are endless areas to enjoy the wildlife or simply read a book and gaze over the prairie that is Glen Rose. We stayed for 3 1/2 months and will say the best part of the stay was interacting with Rene (the owner). She was amazing and a harder worker...I have never seen. She quickly addressed all our needs and I can't stress enough how easy she made our stay. The magic though, came at night when the trees and greenhouse lit up and and resembled a fairy tale. Thank you Rene for making our summer in Spokane a delight.

We enjoyed our stay! It was beautiful and peaceful. We were in town for a graduation and were in and out. Rene was so nice to help with everything. The property is so amazing and the cottage is cozy. We had a bit of a hiccup but Rene was great. Thank you!

Wonderful place, great communication with owner. Owner is in house 30 ft from rental. Charged us to replace a stool that did come apart while we were renting the place, but was clearly already repaired with nails and glue. Complained about how we left the rental to us, even though we started the bedding laundry like we were asked to and washed every dish except a fork and a knife that we found while packing out. Don't really understand this since we were charged 135.00 cleaning fee in the original rental agreement. Really enjoyed the rental. Very comfortable and beautiful area.

We enjoyed our stay in Spokane and this wonderful, quiet little spot. Great area for walking and checking out the wildlife in the yard. Best bed ever. It is conveniently located to downtown Spokane and some fun hiking. A fun spot to end our vacation!

This unit had everything. And we should know: We stayed there a full month while waiting to move into our home in Spokane. We could not have been more comfortable. Not only was Rene a wonderful host, the unit was well-equip and the environment stunning. We woke daily to wonderful views of fields and hills bathed in sun. Each night we slept soundly on an amazing King-sized bed with an outstanding mattress (it even has a platform you can raise and lower!). The kitchen was well-stocked with whatever you might need to prepare meals. The outdoor barbecue worked flawlessly. And, despite the seemingly remote setting, the unit is just five minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities in South Spokane. Plus it's a quick drive to I-90. The location is a perfect combination of peacefulness and well-positioned access. We enjoyed our stay so much we felt bad about leaving to move into our home. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to stay in the Spokane area.

We were looking for a hideaway, and found this place. Rene has created a Tuscan style villa that is cradled the mountains and big shade trees with picturesque views of Spokane Valley. You can sit in the patio and watch the sunset sipping some winethat you may have purchased from the winery across the street (we certainly did ) and most evenings deer grazed in the nearby field. The great hiking trails nearby. Downtown Spokane is 15 min away. We stayed a week but could have easily stayed a month. I highly recommend it.

Rene has done a fabulous job with this cottage, upon arrival, you are whisked away to the French countryside. She is attentive to every detail from the landscaping down to the perfect bed linens. This has been our favorite stay! We will be staying here again on our next visit to Spokane.

Place was great, access to PB great! Wish I would have known exit off freeway was closed for repairs made navigation a little rough getting to place. Once there very enjoyable, charming, comfortable bed thank u for accommodating my pet!

The attention to detail and the high end extras (adjustable bed, top quality cookware, gorgeous landscaping) made our stay remarkable. Everywhere you looked there was something beautiful to see. The views out the copious double paned and screened windows included a gorgeous old barn, a vegetable garden, horses, quail, magpies and a deer grazing in the meadow only 20 feet from the kitchen window. We had wonderful rainstorms during our stay and we felt cozy and comfortable tucked away in this gorgeous nest. Staying here was a sweet restful treat. Quiet yet close to town. A perfect location to hit the trails or restaurants. Rene is updating some of the landscaping and the outdoor space and views should only get better. 5 stars from us!
