It's a small thing, but not a sharp knife in the kitchen. Spices dated before 2010. I don't think one of the showers was cleaned recently (shower gel on the wall). Parking was easy, which was nice. No clear instructions on where the jacuzzi and washer/dryer were, so had to call the complex manager. Quiet location, which was nice for a family vacation. Bus stops were convenient.

Reviewer Comments: over all stay is OK, if you are on a budget and want to walk to the village then this is an OK place. Anyone that sleeps in the loft will be awakened by the guest in the 2nd bedroom because in order to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the loft. The bathroom upstairs is shared by both the loft and the 2nd bedroom and is very very small. There is no closet in the 2nd bedroom. The loft space has a closet and there is another closet on the way to the bathroom. The downstairs bedroom does not have an on-suite bathroom. The bathroom is off the kitchen but it does have a sink that is outside the bathroom area which is nice for the early morning walk up routine. Be careful when going down the outside stairs as the landing at the parking lot level can be icy.

Our 4 boyse used the bunk room upstairs. Kitchen was adequate, but a bit small. Could use some updated bedding, comforters, etc. The fireplace was nice to have in the evenings. We knew from the pictures that the condo was a bit dated. However, we were a surprised at how old everything looked in person. The bedroom furniture looked like something that came out of a motel auction from the 70s. Also, the carpet had some old stains. Overall, this is inexpensive, close to the village, and can sleep up to 10 people if you double up. As for our family, I would only rent it if it were completely updated with clean flooring, bedding, and furniture. The kitchen and bathrooms were okay, but still 1970s style. I'm more comfortable with couches, chairs, carpeting, and bedding that isn't more than four decades old.

However, it became cozy and warm very quickly - too warm, even! Some cabinets were left open when we arrived, and some of the light switches didn't appear to actually be connected to anything, but it was a great space for the 5 of us. Easy access to The Village and public transit.

When you first walk in you're like ok this is nice, but then as you explore the rest of it you realize wow! There were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper provided, along with soap and shower things. The fireplace was also great with plenty of firewood out on the small deck along with a bbq which we put to good use. If you're looking for a drop dead gorgeous condo, look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a condo that takes care of you and your friends as you spend a wonderful time in Mammoth, look no further! Check in and out was a breeze and we didn't experience a single issue with our stay. Our group will definitely be back!!

We booked last minute and the price was right. Good location and close to the village. The place needs some upgrades but if all you are doing is using as a crash pad, then it works fine. A few minor frustrations: the outdoor deck fits only one person. There is not one comfortable seat in the living room. There was a general lack of lighting in many of the rooms, especially in the living room. TV and cable did not work well. Pros: It was not expensive and fit our family nicely. Unfortunately my biggest complaint is pretty big. The rental office (Mammoth Sierra Reservations) did not respect our privacy and gave the key to our rental to a firewood delivery company during our stay. Why they were delivering firewood in August? is interesting. Why they felt the need to have it delivered during our short stay? even more interesting. Why they did not ask permission to send someone AND gave the key to anyone while we were staying there- highly unacceptable and frankly, upsetting. The man just showed up key in hand, ready to enter, demanding to deliver the wood. He would NOT leave when we told him many times to come back after we checked out the next day. (He had to come through our living room to get to the firewood location). We got a soft apology from the staff when we called to complain. We asked for a call back from a manager and did not receive one. When we returned our key, and spoke to the manager in person, she was a bit more apologetic for the miscommunication. I very much hope they fix whatever communication/logistical issues they had with their staff and companies they do business with. Highly disappointed on a customer service level. The rental company has pages of their policies for us to sign about what renters can do or not do and the consequences (usually involving fines or immediate dismissal), but when it came to Mammoth Sierra Reservations maintaining the respect, trust and privacy of their customers: they failed.

However, there was a mouse and the WiFi stopped working after the first of being there. Its not like it was needed, but the only negative thing I can say is the mouse problem. We informed the people in the front, so hopefully they fix the issue for San Sierra #19.

You really can’t beat the location of this property. So close to everything. Trolly stops across the street and a 5 minute walk to the Village. Interior could use a little updating, but while in Mammoth you shouldn’t be spending your time inside anyway. I would come back in a heart beat.
