Good location, excellent food and real ale. The full English breakfast was good. Select your choice the night before.

Good food in the evening (modern and international but with a British touch), fine and full breakfast in the morning (very tasty sausages). Room was tidy and clean, for three people with luggage still fitting but not to big.

Nothing to mention. The price was not the cheapest but overall absolutely within the rather high prices in England in summer of 2023

We took all 3 rooms for our family. Great to have them arranged together, fun stay.

Nice, rural location. Morris dancers doing a show was a pleasant surprise.

The breakfast offering was below expectations, especially for what is listed as a 'gastro pub.' Just a few, basic cooked breakfast items available, and nothing vegetarian was listed (although they did cook us a vegetarian sausage on request). The portion size was small, (one sausage, one bacon rasher, one piece of toast each), with no variety.

Staff were excellent, very friendly. Food excellent. Very welcoming. Great location for exploring area. Lots of walks for our dog, who was warmly welcomed too. Very good value.

The landlady Sam was lovely. The room was great, clean and comfortable. breakfast perfect.

the only downside (no fault of the property) however we didn’t get a great nights sleep as the rooms either side of us were back and forth between rooms until the early hours without a consideration for us.

The food was excellent and the staff were lovely and accommodating to our request for my son to have some balloons in the room and a cake for his birthday.

Lovely village, yummy food. Pub was your typical country, lovely atmosphere. Room were just right, everything that you need.

Bathroom had stone flooring so was freezing to walk on but apart from that it was all good
