Great resort for families traveling with small children (shallow water, food choices, service and amenities). Resort is owner run and you notice that staff is long time retained, treated well and working as a great team. Bungalows are good and clean. Garden is beautiful. End of beach location is quiet. Spa offers high quality massage.

They have a free water fountain for guests to fill their own bottles but they don’t tell you at checkin. No glass should be allowed on pool deck.

Wir waren 10 Nächte mit unserer Tochter (20 Monate) im Family Bungalow und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Man ist in diesem Resort genau richtig wenn man mit Kindern reist. Es gibt genügend Hochstühle, ein tolles Kindermenü Angebot und den schönsten Strandspielplatz. Generell ist der Strand super, beim Resort ist das Meer zwar ziemlich flach, geht man ein paar Schritte runter ist es genau recht. Der flache Bereich ist ideal für Kinder. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das thailändische Essen ist sehr lecker und preiswert. Wir haben uns auch tageweise einen Roller gemietet (250 Baht/ Tag) um ein bisschen die Insel zu erkunden. Den Spa Bereich sollte man sich auch gönnen, wir waren sehr zufrieden. (400 Baht/ 1h) Ausflüge kann man einfach bei der Rezeption buchen und wird bestens beraten.

- really remote (30 minutes away from pier with the scooter) but we loved that! Beautiful beach and nice view point around corner - staff was extraordinary friendly, just ask if you need organisation or help. Taxi to full moon party was not a problem at all! - Restaurant was really good, we enjoyed the barbecue with the fireshow - in the bathroom there is a seperated shower (not that usual in Thailand!) - Safe and hammok included, really comfortable bungalows!

Nice and clean bungalows in a beautiful and green property. The beach is so calm and beautiful here. Breakfast is great and there are some good food options at a 10 min walk away on the main street.

This place seems to be very popular for families with young children. Not a big issue for us as we hung out at the beach during the day, but don't expect a calm pool atmosphere.

Lovely spot on the end of the beach. Amazing for family's with small children. Best spa!! Nice and friendly stuff. Nice pool with amazing view to the sea. We had the 2 badroom bungalow, was very comfortable and very nice balcony.

The room we order, was up hill, on the car road, very not comfortable with 2 small children. We try to change but all the room was booked. If we knew no chance we would come there.

Worst lady ever to manage the reception… Charged us double the price for the pick-up cab 1050 baht instead of the 500 as they show in their confirmation mail. Her argument was that we came from another pier which was just 3 minutes further… charged us double and we had to pay in cash directly before even being able to check-in.. Bad start of our stay, during the two days she kept being annoyed and was talking to us as if we were little kids (and to other guests) Soo sad for the rest of the friendly staff!

Superb location, very good vibe and friendly staff. Breakfas is exelent and in geral food is very good in Longtail resors restaurant. Place is very popular among families with kids becouse of the shalow sea shore and swings near by.

I like Longtail and have been there before. I love the little village and the food market. the beach is awesome. shallow and powder sand - which is why there’s so many families with kids, I guess. the food is good.

Our stay in the Longtail beach resort was just amazing. We would definitively come back. The beach is beautiful, perfect for children but also I had a wonderful view. The bungalows are big, clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you come without kids it could be noisy, but if you are travelling with children it is the perfect spot. The restaurant was super nice with a beautiful view and breakfast is also 👌. In a 10 minutes walk you can reach a little town with a food street and supermarkets but also on the beach you can find 10 supermarkets and various bars and restaurants.

Cosy resort in the nature but with all the commodities : restaurant and massage area, swimming pool and a beautiful beach in front of the resort. The staff is nice and helpful. They can organize car transfers to the peer or to any other location

The bungalow is a bit dark at night. Shame that they use concrete for the alleys in the resort

Goof size, very clean and comfortable bungalows. Good size balconies with hammock and chair. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The gardens were magnificent and had a lot of effort. The staff were extremely friendly. Great location at the end of the bay. Nice restaurant within the resort. Good breakfast options. Nice beach and swings on the beach in front of the resort. fantastic spa and massages … I’d go as far as saying it was the best Thai oil massage I’ve ever had … total bliss.

this is a family friendly resort and a lovely place to take children. However, you need to be prepared that you may hear other peoples kids on holiday. The restaurant in the resort is decent, however, you can find more authentic Thai food in the local village. The Thai food here is very Western and they have good western options. we arrive just after a storm and some bad weather so the water was not as calm as expected. There was also a lot of rubbish on the beach in this bay. Most of the resorts will clean up the rubbish out the front of their resort and on their beach in front of them. Longtail was excellent at making sure their beach was pristine clean, but be prepared for the rest of the bay to not be quite as clean as may be expected

We basically loved everything about this place. The staff was super nice, very chatty and always with a smile on their face. We loved the food, we loved the vibe, the beach was nice. The bungalows are nothing special but very cozy and have everything you need.

We saw some reviews mentioning that a lot of families with small children come to this resort. We did notice the same. We were there in low season so it did not bother us as the place was half empty, but we can imagine it gets loud with a lot of childen around.

From arriving at the resort to leaving everything was perfect This is a gem of a place and by far the best staff at a resort that I have encountered. Im a business owner in Thailand in the travel sector and was on Koh Phangan to carry out Resort Inspections Having visited three 4 & 5 star resorts on the previous day's , the staff didn't compare with those at longtail Beach Resort In addition the rooms are simple but super comfy.. The grounds/gardens are immaculate . Every dish we had in the restaurant was delicious , well presented, and excellent pricing. The breakfast included is good, you have options to choose from a menu which is also varied. For a low cost accommodation I was totally blown away with the breakfast because they even include a very good cappuccino and latte as if poured from a coffee shop which I certainly have never had in a low cost resort. The pool is great with fabulous views I truly can't rate this beautiful resort highly enough

Amazing breakfast and rest of the food in hotel restaurant, had best experience of Thai massage and helpful staff. The best looking hotel in whole beach area for sure!

We haven’t done enough research about location and apperiently it’s nothing much going on in local area. Far away from ferry and city, also the road to the hotel looks pretty dangerous to drive without much experience.

Friendly staff, wonderful breakfasts with a huge array of choices. The beautiful tropical gardens which the staff spend much time cultivating and ensuring they are superb. Right on the beautiful beach interspersed with fishing boats and lovely restaurants. Beautiful beach to swim in r just justvwalk along.

Kettles and cups, milk, tea and coffee I each bungalow would be great for that early morning cuppa
