There was someone jumping around upstairs all day Sunday and Saturday evening. The door dead bolt didn’t lock. The hook behind the door was stripped out from the wall.

Facilities were ok and enjoyed free breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful so would have wanted to score them much higher, except tried to work with Tricia, the manager to update our check-out date a day earlier due to an illness and got no help or empathy, so had to pay for a day we were unable to use.

Tried to work with manager to update our check-out date a day earlier due to an illness, but was just told it was the "policy" that it couldn't be changed because I used a 3rd party to book. I'm sure there is something the manager could have done if they wanted to do the right thing and help. No empathy shown when we had an unexpected illness. No "sorry about your child's illness" or anything. I could have shown the urgent care receipt if needed to prove we really had a reason to leave early. Just "it's the policy" and no effort to help. We were visiting the university, so they had potential to have a lot of our business in the next few years if our child goes to Tech, so they potentially lost a few years of visits from us for the cost of one night. Hope it was worth it. Will not stay there again due to the experience and lack of customer service from the manager.

Could easily hear people walking on floor above us, so I wear earplugs to sleep.

After a long travel you expect to have a good night sleep on a comfortable bed but unfortunately the so uncomfortable that I could not sleep at all. The mattress were in a pretty bad shape. Please change it and give value for the money the customer spends on you property. Thanks!!!

The proximity to the place I had to go. I had to visit Texas Tech. University. Also there were good place to eat out.

you can hear the noise of the highway from the room. it did not interfere with sleep.

My usual hotel was booked, so I went with this one. Was very pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was decent. My one complaint was that my in room coffee machine was on a shelf higher than my head which made adding water to the back difficult as I had to climb a chair to reach and pull it down, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Breakfast was good. Enjoyed pancakes .Rooms were very clean. Good service.

wish we had real milk instead of the half and half for coffee. Pleas add waffles as well.

The beds were comfortable.

I always pull back the sheets when I get to the hotel and there was long hair short hair and crumbs in the bed. The front desk staff gave us another room and it was clean. Also the lights in the foyer area of the room did not work.

Breakfast was very good---comparable to other Holiday Inn Express where we stayed. Bed was comfortable.

We had King Kong in combat boots staying above us. He stomped from the time we checked in at 5:30 pm until 12:30 am...don't know how that much noise could be made! We let the front desk know when we went out to dinner and when we checked out. The staff was very amicable but nothing changed. Needless to say our rest was compromised.
