Beautiful house, and beautiful location. 6 friends enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to our return.

The view of the ocean is spectacular! The cabin manages to be both spacious and cozy. The whole family was thrilled with it, we will definitely be visiting again. They had everything we needed, including surf boards and a sauna, kitchen utensils, cozy beds, and a wood stove. The location on Chesterman Beach is perfect. The hosts were friendly and responsive.

We had sun, torrential rains and hurricane winds causing the power to go out all in 4 nights. But always had a beautiful house to come home to. Would suggest some large address numbers right off the roadway would help maybe that glowed from the street light but other than that perfect.

The beach is a dozen steps from the front porch, and the views from every front window are magnificent. Wish we could have taken the Stickley-inspired recliner home with us. Owner’s son was friendly, helpful and responsive. We will come here again!

Really truly ON the beach. Luxurious place with quaint wooden interior design. Roomy, artful, home-like (not sterile/ikea-styled; deep family getaway vibes); particularly enjoyable chef's kitchen, and master bathroom jacuzzi and heated tile floors. The master bedroom has a private balcony over the beach, and other bedrooms looked full of windows and light. Great outdoor facilities such as benches and chairs for taking coffee or drinks outside, and foot and body showers for rinsing sand off before cozying up again inside... Stereo, woodstove, dining area all great. Only con we found was a lack of window screens to keep out mosquitoes (just one screen installed) but we just hung cloth over the bedroom balcony door so we could fall asleep to the music of the sea. :) All good.

Saint was very commutative and excellent host. The location is right on the beach with a dreamy view. Equipment is A+ with really good music system and a cozy fireplace. We had the best stay with the best service. Will definitely book and stay there again. Highly recommended!!

During these difficult times I still wanted to do something specail for my 40th. Chesterman has always been a specail place for our family. It was truly amazing being able to watch the kids surfing from the deck of the property. The house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen. We had a great time listening to the selection of music and playing the many board games while watching the crashing waves. Nothing says the true amazing feeling of preparing your coffee at first light and walking the beach with the ones closest to you. Thank you for allowing us to take part in your one of a kind property.

We had a wonderful time. The House was everything they said it would be. We enjoyed the wood stove especially and the incredible view. The house had everything we needed and it was a joy to stay there. January was the perfect time to witness their storm season. The care takers were friendly and helpful. What a great time had by all. This is a special place. Rustic but homey, amazing view. Chesterman beach is fantastic! We met many visitors from around the world. Gorgeous sunsets, beach fires with s’mores, boogie boarding and beach combing. This house and cottage has everything you need. We had a party of 6 and everything was terrific. Rustic cottage style home & cabin made us feel like we were miles away from everything.

This property is fully kitted out and in an amazing location! We loved the views, the ambience and would go back again and again! Great stay...nothing lacking.

Just returned from an 8-night stay at Ch-ahayis main house and it was everything and more. Very comfortable for everyone, well sound proofed & cleaned, lovely fireplace, very comfortable beds, and living room was a great place for us all to sit back and relax to a movie or board game. The washing machine was definitely a bonus! And what a view of the ocean and Chesterman Beach! The location is perfect for long walks on the beach without having to take the car.....The property is as advertised. All in all I would definitely recommend Ch-ahayis. By far my best stay in Tofino and we are already planning to go back.

My husband and I spent 6 days at the main house the end of May. Friends joined us and we had the best time exploring Tofino for the second time. The house was more than we expected! It is so well appointed and best of all just steps from the beach. The home was spotless, including the kitchen drawers which had everything needed to cook everything we wanted to cook. The caretakers, which are next door, were so helpful and fun. I can't imagine anyone could find anything to complain about with this well tended home!

Our party of 5 celebrated a memorable birthday week at this very accommodating beach house. Perfect location well appointed kitchen ideal for 5 "foodies "who love to cook and gather around the kitchen. It was the first time to Tofino for our friends from Ottawa who were enthralled as we were by the beachfront and the ocean. The main house was ideal for the easy relaxed visit we had hoped for. Looking forward to making this an annual event.

This is probably one of the nicest places I've stayed in in recent memory. The experience you will have here is excellent, and very authentic west coast.

Our family nominates this Chesterman Beach home in the category as best pacific north west beach VRBO. Exudes west coast look and feeling.Great caretaker, easy accommodating owner.Right on the beach, great view for storm watching right at your doorstep. Surfing mecca, many US plates on vehicles.Beautiful one and a half hour ferry ride form Vancouver, scenic three hour drive across Vancouver Island. Ten minute drive into Tofino for groceries, restaurants, bars, fishing excursions, whale-watching tours, float planes, helicopters, wet suit/surfboard rentals, souvenirs and coast culture. Chesterman? What a beach! Surf,boogie-board, walk or cycle. Clean and hard-packed.Good luck trying to out-do this nomination. Jacques

Anyone looking for accommodation on the beach at Tofino, large enough for a family or group of friends, need search no further. This charming house (and adjacent cottage) was perfect for our gathering on a special birthday weekend in January. It has a homey, casual feel, and is architecturally interesting with unique wood features. The house does not feel like a rental property but more like your own weekend getaway, though we would certainly enjoy staying much longer! And if the house isn't enough to please your senses, it is literally a hop, skip and a jump to the best beach in Tofino (or the world for that matter)!

This is a great place to stay. We rented both the main house and the bunkhouse for 9 adults and 2 small children. The view was great, the place was very cosy and comfortable. The outdoor showers were a huge bonus for surfing. The guitars added a lot to our fun. The wood stove was warm and easy to use. Internet worked great. kitchen and bbq had everything we needed for our cooking.
