Cool bohemian vibe, really sweet room & absolutely comfy garden-facing balcony

Not at all the fault of the property, but my next-door neighbors were quite loud coming in late and didn't have a sense of balconies being noisy for people inside rooms nearby. I suspect from many signs about being quiet that this is a frequent problem. Travel with earplugs!

Very little, we were not welcome as we complained about the room being different from what we had booked. Most unfriendly staff ever, you are simply NOT welcome in this hotel. And please note you risk ending up on the street if you complain about the bad treatment! They even threatened to call the police, when we just asked for the room we had booked.....The only positive thing is that they connected us with Bellevue hotel, which was much better: cheaper, much closer to the beach, comfortable, and very friendly staff.......

We should have known that guests are actually not welcome here when we arrived 20 minutes before our indicated arrival time (3 PM!) and the hotel was totally closed. There was staff, but when they discovered us they simply told us to wait as no check-in was possible until 3 pm no matter how long your travel had been (we came from Spain). Subsequently they offered us a room at the back with "garden view" while we had booked a room with river view - the "garden view" meant that you terrace was literally in the ugly little garden of the neighbours who had a gathering there (so much for privacy). When we complained and pointed out the reservation said we would get a room with river view they kicked us out of the hotel! Obviously in Single Fun hotel the Host is King and the Guest is - not welcome......

Lovely hotel, nice atmosphere, very nicely decorated rooms. We had a room with a balcony, and it was really nice. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the beach and a 6 minut walk to restaurants and shops in the center of Minizan-Plage, but it's still pretty quiet (on the south side of the river). Nice and helpful staff, decent breakfast. Ample parking space (at least in mid September).

The restaurant/bar shuts down at 20.00 and then it's impossible to get anything to drink. And no glasses to drink wine you may have brought yourself. A water cooker or something would also have been nice.

A very quirky and lovely place to stay in Mimizan. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely balcony with a view of the river. The room was small but cosy. There was a really nice outdoor seating area and the furniture was all very interesting, a real surfers paradise!

We stayed at this amazing hotel for the second time as a couple. We had a great time, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you come to Mimizan, even if you are not into surfing, this hotel offers a great atmosphere and super nice staff.

The location to the beach was great, very close. The 'funky' decor was superb. Bedroom was very very clean, lovely little balcony. 1 out of 2 bed lining was excellent. OOh and coffee was just right.

The space in the room was a bit tight!, 1 out of the 2 bed lining was rough and bobbley, which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep and I had to swap with my daughter for the 2nd night. The real downside was the noise.....You cant help the noisy guests above us, but we also heard the noise from the kitchen, late at night and early morning! Thought it was a little pricey for what it was.

A basic type of dormitory accommodation, 2 bunk beds to the room. Clean, adequate bathroom. Good location to main area of town (20 minutes walk). Friendly staff.

My mom and me loved the place, the location and the local stuff who welcomed us. I was afraid of my mom going up on the stairs but they are good enough for old people. Great hotel to everyone, surfers, bikers, beach lovers and solo travelers.

Might be the size of the room but tbh you go there to sleep and to stay out, so nothing bad to highlight.
